Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.There was basically no help to set it up, so I had to pay the store (not sure of the amount...$200, $300?) to join a maintenance plan, only, they couldn't get it set up for me, so I had to drive to the Apple Store in Lancaster to have it set up...for free! Since I don't live local to the Best Buy Store, or the Apple Store....that was a lot of driving back and forth for what could have been a simple start to the program.

Open Box Fraud

Upon receiving the item, I discovered it was a different color than described. More importantly, the previous user’s login credentials were still active on the device, rendering the unit unusable. This oversight suggests a serious lapse in your inspection process, and I am concerned that this may have been handled improperly by staff at the store level. While I am very grateful to the store manager who went above and beyond to resolve my complaint and assist me with the return, the experience has left me deeply dissatisfied with the open-box program. I believe an investigation into how this unit was processed is necessary to ensure other customers do not encounter similar issues. I hope you will look into this matter to improve the quality and security of your open-box inventory.
