The product works very well and especially the ecosystem is of utmost use. To say that ecosystem makes your life that much easier is an understatement as every single day I’m shocked by how well the ecosystem operates and I never have ever regretted my decision of buying this specific laptop. Definitely recommend this one.

The MacBook Air M2 itself may be a great Apple product, and I had been using it without issue. However, after two years, both the display and trackpad stopped working. I primarily used it with an external monitor, and one day the MacBook’s display suddenly went black. I purchased this MacBook Air M2 from Best Buy as a brand-new device. Best Buy wanted to charge me around $100 for a diagnostic, so I went to the Apple Store instead, where they performed the diagnosis for free. According to Apple’s report, the trackpad on this MacBook had previously been replaced and is not compatible with the device. This is extremely disappointing because I purchased the laptop under the understanding that it was brand new. Selling a product in that condition while representing it as new is unacceptable. When I contacted customer support, I was told that I would need to pay for all repairs upfront, after which a separate team would review the case and decide whether the product had been misrepresented as brand new. While I understand that devices can develop issues after two years, my main concern is that the product appears not to have been sold as described. Overall, I am very disappointed with how Best Buy has handled this situation. The customer service experience and the apparent misrepresentation of the product have left me with very little confidence in purchasing from Best Buy again.
