Q: How many thunderbolt ports does this laptop have?

A: This laptop has two thunderbolt ports in total.

Q: Does this laptop have a headphone jack?

A: Yes, this laptop has a headphone jack.

Q: What is the battery life of this laptop?

A: The battery life of this laptop is up to 18 hours.

Q: Is the screen a touch screen on this laptop?

A: No, the screen is not a touch screen on this laptop.

Q: What is the capacity of the solid state drive in this laptop?

A: The solid state drive capacity is 256 gigabytes.

Q: Does this laptop have a backlit keyboard?

A: Yes, this laptop features a backlit keyboard.

Q: What operating system does this laptop use?

A: This laptop uses macOS Ventura as its operating system.

Q: Old and not tech savvy. My main concern is ram. Will the m2 and better cpu help since my current m1 13 air is always near its limit. I know you can but the upgrade but not wanting to at this time. Mostly wanting more screen and better memory.

A: The M2 certainly provides enhanced processing speed especially when paired with 16GB RAM. I would say it depends on what you are using the MacBook for. If you intend to use it for every day tasks such as Microsoft Office applications, internet browsing, streaming, etc. then the 8GB RAM should be sufficient enough. If you intend to do a little more such as video editing, photo editing, or any substantial rendering then I would recommend the M2 with 16GB RAM. Any professional video editing software, photo editing software, or other advanced software, I would look into the M2 Pro editions. Hope this helps!

      MacBook Air M2 15" - Light, Fast & Reliable!

This MacBook Air M2 has been absolutely fantastic for my daily use. Coming from a 13" laptop, I needed the extra screen size to make working with spreadsheets more functional and the screen quality and brightness (viewable in daylight!) are great for full screen movies. What I love most is how incredibly light this laptop is – it's amazing that something this portable has such a big screen and a battery with all-day capacity. The M2 chip handles everything I need perfectly, from work stuff to creative projects. Even with only 8 GB RAM, I can run multiple applications at the same time and keep dozens of browser tabs open. Battery life is excellent, easily getting me through a full day, and I love how it wakes up instantly when I open it. This thing has been rock solid over the last couple years – never lets me down. The backlit keyboard is great for working in the evening, and everything just feels smooth and responsive. You will need an adapter for any USB-A needs, but the dual USB-C is great for power and accessories. I'm only upgrading to handle more serious video editing, but honestly, this laptop does everything most people need. The 8GB RAM and 256GB storage work fine for regular use, though if you're a heavy user you might want more. I'd definitely recommend this to friends – it hits that sweet spot of being powerful enough for real work while staying super portable and reliable. Love this machine!
