    excellent laptop for the money, if this is your main laptop would recommend 16 GB memory, if it is a secondary lap top for travel or business travel base model is very good, apple should made 16 GB memory as base model the drive space is fine at 256 GB as most stuff is on cloud. screen is biggest pro for the lap top the only con is 8 GB RAM for some people. speakers are very good, good battery life. it runs very much cold which is big plus. it is easy to travel with, for me I have 16 map M1 Max so this works best, mostly for business travel. comes with small charger for me that is better for travel as I already have larger MagSafe from 16 inch mbp, but 70 watts also available free. As many reviewer said if you upgrade this then 14 inch mbp is the one to get.
