I almost bought this model before being talked into an M4 chip model. I wish I’d gone with the M3 because I just don’t use the processing power and apple intelligence was still slow to review a document I typed, plus its suggestions changed the format to an unusable one with the M4 chip model. I’d have saved $300, but the box looked a little more dirty and beat up and the sales team talked me into splurging for myself. It’s not their fault I fail at peer pressure, but I do wonder if I’d have been just as happy with this or a MacBook Air. Might still exchange due to the bestbuy membership I paid for.

Awesome Mac, coming from a 2019 pro with intel I really love the new design and from what I can tell the m3 chip performs like a monster! Would recommend this to anyone that does video editing and light room pictures

Only had it for about two weeks but I love this laptop so far! And ordering from Best Buy is so easy and gives me a lot of comfort to know that there’s someone who knows what they’re doing who won’t try to upsell you like crazy!

This laptop is almost EXACTLY what I needed - it runs well, even when I'm editing a lengthy video. However, despite being bought new, the battery does not last as long as my old laptop. My old laptop could go a week without being charged, with me only using it about three to five hours a day. This laptop, I have to charge it at least every two days, which is terribly discouraging for a brand new computer

I found the screen bright and sharp. Keyboard worked well, as did touch pad. However, being a longtime Windows user, I found numbers of commands, shortcuts, and even the operating system foreign. Switching over would take a lot of practice. One thing confusing, is resetting. I wanted to reset and start fresh, and as in Windows, it asked if I "want to erase everything". In Windows, that pertains to all personal files and downloaded apps. I assumed that was the same, and clicked on "OK". Well, the MacBook erased everything and became a brick - everything was gone. Took back to Best Buy, and they could not even revive it. So due to lack of knowledge, my experience was not good, and it was returned.

Excellent ProductI’ve been using the MacBook Pro with the M3 chip, and overall, it’s a powerful and reliable machine, especially for demanding tasks like coding, video editing, and multitasking.
