This is my first Mac. I wish I had dumped Windows machines 10 years ago. I LOVE this thing! One of the many things I love is that it's an extension of my phone so all of my text messages, contacts, reminders, appointments, and photos are synced across all of my devices. It was a nightmare trying to manage that on a Windows computer with all Apple devices. Texting from my computer is a lifesaver. Our employees text me A LOT and I love not having to switch to my phone to read/respond. My MacBook keeps things simple and that is so valuable. It will seamlessly use my iPhone for WiFi if no other WiFi is available (a feature I can turn off, of course). The battery life is awesome! It depends on how much I'm using it and what I have open, but the battery will last for days with light use and all day with fairly heavy use. It doesn't heat up and doesn't require a fan so no annoying fan noise. It just works great all the time. I chose the Pro because I wanted the M2 Pro chip for processing speed, charging speed, better graphics, and power efficiency. It also has 3 USB-C ports, and an HDMI port which allows me to connect an external monitor. I'm not sorry at all, but the MacBook Pro is heavier than the Air. That's maybe the only slight negative. Mine is 3.5 pounds vs 2.7 pounds if I had chosen the Air. Definitely a worthwhile trade off. It runs Word and Excel with no issues whatsoever. I use VMWare to log into my work Windows profile and that works like a charm. I love using FaceTime to talk to our kids. I have nothing negative to say. I'm very happy with this purchase

The MacBook Pro M2 is a fast and powerful laptop with great battery life. The screen is bright and clear, and the keyboard is comfortable to type on. It runs smoothly, whether you’re browsing, working, or editing videos. The speakers sound great, and the laptop stays cool even with heavy use. However, the design hasn’t changed much, and it only has USB-C ports, which might not be convenient for everyone. Overall, it’s a great laptop for work, school, or creative tasks.

Pros: - Battery life - Material and construction - Quick for basic photo editing task - Very good for the 3 Type-C ports - I really liked the mechanism of the magnetic charging port. - Very practical fingerprint sensor built into the on and off button. - I really liked the trackpad and the gesture configuration options. - I really liked the Space Gray color, It looks very elegant. Cons: - It doesn't have an RJ-45 port, although I haven't needed it. - I feel that the edges of where the keyboard and track pad are located at the bottom is very sharp and is not at all ergonomic. - It's quite heavy. - Due to the type of material, it is somewhat bleed, so be careful when you put it in your backpack. - It gets quite hot. I would like to: - in this model an option with Touch Bar. - with the 16 GB + 1 TB configuration. - Higher resolution in the camera.

This MacBook is the best computer I have ever owned. As a software engineer I do a lot of heavy computing and this MacBook is the best tool for the job. My compile times on docker containers, nodes mobile apps and other build times are near instant. From scratch I was able to build and run my mobile app in an Xcode simulator in under 20 seconds. It always runs really cool too. I originally didn't like the thicker MacBook but I am glad this did it. It's probably the first computer I've ever bought that I didn't consider taking back. I highly recommend it. You won't regret it. Rather you are a coder or IT pro or just a normal user this is the best machine you can get. I have an Intel i7 12700h with 32GB of DDR4 ram and it doesn't compare. Also the battery life is crazy. You can do real computing without a charger and for a long time.

Love this laptop. It’s fast. Easy to use. And I don’t have to worry about spyware like I always did with a windows. The display is great and the battery lasts forever!

Love this MacBook Pro. Fast, capable, great internal speakers, and battery life. Switching back to mac after having an expensive Lenovo break down after less than 4 years. I decided on this computer and Best Buy had the best sale. Some of my work demands more from computer processors and RAM, otherwise the new MacBook Airs would have been the way to go. Cons: maybe shows fingerprints more than my last MacBook; the pads on the bottom are more prone to sliding than I was used to, when using a lap desk.

My first MacBook. I purchased the MacBook Pro mainly for photo editing purposes. I admit it is taking some time getting used to the different settings and features but the experience has been pleasurable. This machine is fast and very easy to setup. I love how fast I’m able to login. With my Apple Watch, I am able to use the laptop as soon as you open the lid! Also, the fingerprint sensor works perfectly every time. The battery life is amazing compared to my HP laptop. I may not necessarily needed the Pro version but I’m happy I did. It will be hard going to anything with less power. I love the simple design and color. I hope this experience will last a long time. At this point I don’t have any dislikes. This is new to me so I can only compare with what I currently use.

All I can say is WOW! Very well built laptop, watching movies, youtube ect is a wonderful experience due to the mini LED screen. Everything looks so clear with incredible color. Did I mention this laptop is crazy fast? Sound is top notch and sounds incredible. My biggest suprise is when i went to try a few games out on it. I know this is not meant for gaming but averaging 67 FPS in rise of the tomb raider was nice to see. Also ran dying light and metro exodus perfectly! Overall really solid laptop and worth every penny IMO. Perfect every day laptop!

I upgraded from the previous year MacBook Pro and I couldn’t be happier. I absolutely love my new MacBook Pro!! I mainly purchased this as I am starting college and I needed a laptop. The Apple one caught my attention and fit what I wanted in a laptop. I’ve heard many great reviews about this specific laptop, MacBook Pro, and it’s true. ITS AMAZING! I love how simple it is to use and how similar it is to my iphone; the features such as my messages, FaceTime and photos are linked with the same iCloud between devices which is very convenient and easy for me because I can see everything on both devices. For me, it makes it easier to download and store certain files as well as upload things from one device to another if need be, because they are linked and this can come in handy for me when I’m doing school assignments. The feature of the fingerprint key on the keyboard is very nice. If you decide to keep passwords saved on a website the feature is good to have as it automatically gives you the option to simply press your finger down on the key and sign in without having to type your password in which is great because I always forget and it is fast and easy. I have also played around with it a lot and I’m very happy with the over all display and amazing camera quality (great for video calls such as FaceTime and zoom and photos). It connects great with Bluetooth headphones and devices. I also love this as I can easily use my iPhones hotspot as my source of wifi when I do not have access to other internet at the moment. Overall, I had an easy purchase from Best Buy and I do not regret purchasing at all! HIGHLY highly recommend if you want a laptop that can be used similarly to your Apple iPhone all while having a chiq aesthetic.

I love that Best Buy has Apple products. It was easy to get started and I’ve been using it ever since. I’ve used MacBooks so I had no trouble navigating everything. The processor is faster than I imagined it would be! It’s going to be a workhorse for sure and I am confident that it will last a long time! I’m happy with my decision to purchase. The battery life is great, and I went with the 14” so it’s a bit larger which makes it even better. I am constantly telling my family how much I love it, while they are having issues with their other brands, I keep on working on mine :-)

After switching from a 2020 MacBook Air; I’m glad I did. The increased screen size is more than you think. And believe it or not 128GB of storage is not very much at all. But the two best things about the upgrade; my battery lasts way longer and I have yet to hear the fan running at all. Definitely recommend over the Air model for anybody doing more than writing emails. The only downside I have found is the lack of a key to control the backlit keyboard brightness.
