I can't speak on the longevity of it but a great laptop. I got mine today and it runs very smoothly and the 8gb of ram is no issue for standard school work/browsing. Keyboard is great and the camera is amazing. Battery is absolutely great.

I bought this to replace my M2 MacBook Air. It wasn't a necessary upgrade, but more of a quality of life upgrade. I knew I didn't need the power of a pro chip - I use my computer for web browsing, personal financial planning, and photography. But, as I'm getting older, I appreciate using larger, brighter, sharper screens. I don't mind the slightly heavier device as I don't travel with my personal laptop on a daily basis. It's mobile enough around the house. I also bought this open-box in like-new condition, which ended up being less expensive than what I paid for the MacBook Air.

This MacBook is quite literally amazing! I love the features and the speed and sleek design. The pickup process was smoother than peanut butter, Thank you Bestbuy!

I upgraded to this base model MacBook Pro from an 15" Air. No regrets. The 15" Air is too big for me to carry around and the 13" Air is too small. This 14" is perfect size for me.

Easy to set up. I had files from previous laptop that I was able to transfer easily. The laptop gives you step by step instructions.

The MacBook Pro 14 is everything you can ask for in a laptop. It's versatile for a non-touch screen, its industry-leading specs, and its compatibility with many different software is so helpful given the stereotypical lack of previous apple computers. I would recommend this laptop for most people who have above-average workloads, but not just multitasking, more like editing/coding in the extremes/executive type workloads etc.
