Get this one to work with the “older” iPads. Will not work with newer, so do your research!

Apple Pencil is far better than any competition pencil. Thought I could get away with buying a knock off brand, and thought it worked somewhat; it certainly didn't work as good as the real thing. Learning is hard sometimes!

Works well with the ipad. My son loves using it. Wish it could be charged on the ipad ( like the samsung tablet/pen) instead of having to plug it with a separate charger for charging.

I have not used it yet. It looks great, it arrived in good condition. When I locate the art programs I bought it for, that "downloaded successfully", but has no icon on any screen, I expect to find it will work. (My other pencil works great on a Gen 9 iPad.)

My daughter use it for taking notes in college!!!!

It's a first gen pencil, but it works great. Perfect for use with note taking on an iPad. Combined with Notability and you are golden! There are other choices that save you some cash, but the Apple pencil is the best.

We love the Apple Pencil. It writes like an actual pen. We have had other brands that are ok but doesn’t feel like an actual pen. This really does! Worth the buy.

Purchased as a gift for my teenager and she absolutely loves this for drawing on her ipad. The lines are clear and crisp and would recommend this to others.

The Apple Pencil works great. However, I originally bought the next generation pencil which feels more like an actual pencil. I just got a new iPad for my daughter and was disappointed Apple does have compatibility for all current generations of their products. This still works great, but I like the newer one better and would rather have it.

I'm not going to complain about it not being the latest model or technology. What's inside it is okay (though it'd be nice to have a replaceable battery long term). What bugs me is that they designed it so it sticks out of the lightning port of your iPad when charging, and the plug is covered by an easy to lose cap that fits loosely after you remove and replace it a few times. It will also roll off things if you don't put something on it. It is nice that it (re)pairs with the device when charging, though. And this particular version has both lightning and a tiny USB-C adapter (also easy to lose) in case you have the iPad 10 and need that.

I have an Apple Pencil with my iPad & when my daughter saw what mine could do she had to have one too!! She loves it!!

Love the apple pencils. Just wish that the iPads would just use one so I wouldn’t have to buy the 2 different ones depending on the iPad I have. But both are very good especially when bought on sale.
