I was hoping to use mine to take notes and this is literally the worst option available for that. Mine works perfectly fine it just sucks because you cant turn off the autocorrect feature which means writing things with correct spelling will get changed to something totally wrong, which some would consider a huge defect for the purpose of writing personal notes. On top of that there are constant issues with switching between the keyboard and the pencil. It usually takes several tries to get the pencil to pick up on the screen and then you have to scribble out whatever the pencil thought you were trying to write to get it to pick up. Every time I've tried to use it I ended up having to use a pen and paper. Also kind of hard to write with when you cant touch your hand to the screen like you can with paper. Ill be taking mine back to the store as soon as I can. Would not recommend for writers at all.

Don't like the way you have to charge it. It’s a pain to have to keep the connecting price

Pencil was defective out of the box. It was my first pencil so it took a minute to realize it was defective vs my ignorance in setting it up. Support was very helpful in troubleshooting and the return for a open box item they had available.

Pretty nice tool but not very useful. It doesn´t have an immediate purpose

If I could give less than 1 star I would've. Reason being is when I received the product it was the wrong pen! We couldn't figure out why it wasn't compatible with our iPad.Finally going back to Best Buy, who's geek squad was wonderful by the way, they noticed that the pen wasn't the correct version that should have been in that box. They right away exchanged it for the correct pen.

Got sent to the wrong address so I just ordered from apple.

Dies a little fast but helps making notes so much easier.

Did not work for my Gen 5 iPad pro needed the 2nd gen

Hard to plug in, especially hard to maintain with children since it sticks out of the device.

Tip of pencil felt like it was scraping the screen instead of gliding across the screen. Had to return it. I also found it hard to navigate switching from using the pencil to using the touch screen with this item. Very glitchy. Overall not pleased.

The 1st Generation I did not like and returned it for the 2nd Gen. The first. Gen requires to be plugged in to charge. The next Gen attaches to the iPad and charges that way.

Battery life seems to be inferior doesn't even lasts a day.

I didnt really need it so I returned it. Quite alot for a pen.

This pen was ok to use.Very thin too smooth feeling.

Well I was sent the wrong pen from Best Buy. I bought my daugter a pen for Xmas and it was not the same Model she needed, so my husband and daughter went back to the store with the Apple pen and the manager and sales associate implied that we stole it or that there was something nefarious going on since the item numbers didn’t match.

horrible experience. I purchased the item online was told it was ready for immediate pick up went to the store and after waiting in a long line for a very long time was told They didn’t have it I I was furious. I had to have them cancel the original online order which I paid for using my debit card and re-purchase an apple pen that was in stock and then did not have the refund hit my bank account until a week later. It was a miserable experience.

Worst product ever after new update pencil quit working 3 weeks old and Best Buy said they wouldn’t warranty it

Kinda corny for me, guess because I don't draw at all.. Kinda was a flex purchase but now its in my junk drawer in the kitchen. Not useful for me

Horrible, device not working like it was suppose to. And once it started to not be efficient I took it back to Best Buy and the front desk manager wasn’t able to help in any way. Instead I got an attitude from the lady. I wasn’t even asking for my money back. Store credit would’ve suffice. One of the worse interactions I’ve ever had at Best Buy.

no "pen" should ever cost this much. Very insane but apple will be apple.
