Apple Pencil (Gen- 1)
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’ve been using this Apple Pencil with my iPad for notes, sketches, and Procreate, and it feels really natural and responsive — pressure and tilt sensitivity work great and it’s smooth with almost no lag. It holds a decent charge and pairs easily, so it really does replace pen and paper for a lot of tasks. That said, the charging method isn’t ideal (it sticks out of the iPad or needs an adapter), and I can see why some people find the cap easy to lose. Still, for what it does — especially if you use it often — it’s worth it.

Apple Pencil (1st Generation) with USB-C to Pencil
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Overall Impression The Apple Pencil (1st Generation) with the new USB-C adapter has been a valuable addition to my iPad setup. As someone who creates a lot of educational content, this tool has significantly improved my digital workflow. Pros Precision and responsiveness: The Apple Pencil offers exceptional accuracy and pressure sensitivity, making handwritten notes and detailed drawings feel natural and precise. Upgraded connectivity: The included USB-C adapter modernizes the 1st Generation Pencil, making it compatible with newer iPad models that have USB-C ports. Palm rejection: Works flawlessly with compatible iPads, allowing me to rest my hand on the screen while writing or drawing. Battery life: Lasts through several days of regular use on a single charge. Comfortable design: The pencil has good weight and balance, making it comfortable to use for extended periods. Tilt sensitivity: Allows for natural shading techniques when creating diagrams or illustrations for teaching materials. Cons No magnetic attachment: Unlike the 2nd Generation Pencil, this model doesn't magnetically attach to the iPad. Lacks shortcut button: No double-tap feature to quickly switch between tools. Charging position: Still somewhat awkward when charging directly through the iPad's port. Price point: At $99, it remains a significant investment for a digital stylus. Rounded design: Can occasionally roll off flat surfaces. Value for Money While not inexpensive, the Apple Pencil represents good value for anyone who regularly annotates documents, creates digital art, or takes handwritten notes. The USB-C adapter extends the life and compatibility of this first-generation tool, making it a smarter purchase than it was previously. Use in Education As a teacher, I've found the Apple Pencil invaluable for creating clear, handwritten feedback on student work, developing custom worksheets, and demonstrating concepts during virtual instruction. The precision makes mathematical notation and diagram creation much easier than using a finger or third-party stylus. Final Verdict The Apple Pencil (1st Generation) with USB-C adapter bridges the gap between older technology and newer iPad models. While not as feature-rich as the 2nd Generation Pencil, it delivers the essential functionality that made the original so popular, now with improved connectivity options. For educators, digital artists, or anyone who prefers handwritten digital input, this remains an excellent tool that enhances the iPad experience significantly.

Apple Pen
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've been using the Apple Pencil with my iPad A16 I got through cellular provider, and honestly, it's a GAME CHANGER! So, here are some awesome features that most people might not know about. Markup is lit annotate screenshots, PDFs, and documents with ease! Screen Shot + Markup = my go-to combo Handwriting Recognition in Notes is surprisingly accurate Double-Tap is a hidden gem switch tools or change settings quickly! Tilt and Pressure Sensitivity makes drawing and writing feel super natural Some other things I've noticed: Battery life is impressive lasts me a whole day of heavy use Pairing is seamless, and charging is a breeze (Lightning connector! ) Palm Rejection is on point no annoying accidental marks Newer models have downsides Some folks have reported issues with the Apple Pencil (2nd gen) not pairing properly or randomly disconnecting A few friends have had problems with the Pencil's charging case or adapter “If you're planning to get a cellular iPad, make sure to check compatibility and functions before buying” Salesman had said Glad I did so Xmas was perfect If you're thinking of getting an Apple Pencil, I'd say GO FOR IT! It's worth every penny Makes my iPad experience so much more productive and fun The older model was best for my family’s needs. I purchased a second one on Christmas shipping was fast and fair given the Holidays both orders!

I love the first gen Apple Pencil
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The first gen Apple Pencil is a precise drawing and writing tool for the iPad. The best thing about it is the pressure sensitivity; you can press harder to make thicker lines or lighter for thinner ones, just like a real pencil. It also senses when you tilt it for shading. The design is simple and white, but it rolls easily off tables. To charge it, you have to plug its end into the iPad, which looks a bit strange and makes the small cap easy to lose. Even with its charging issues, the pencil works great and feels natural to use.

Great for Procreate — Super Precise and Natural
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’ve been using the Apple Pencil mainly for Procreate, and it’s made a huge difference in my digital art workflow. The pressure sensitivity feels really natural, and the response time is so fast that it honestly feels like drawing on paper. I also love how accurate the tip is for fine details and clean line work. The palm rejection works flawlessly, and the battery life has been more than enough for long drawing sessions. Overall, it’s a product that genuinely enhances the creative experience and feels worth the investment. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone who uses Procreate or does any kind of digital illustration.

Works great!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've really been enjoying the 1st Gen Apple Pencil. I started dabbling in digital art on my 10th Gen iPad, and this is the only stylus that allows me to draw with both tilt and pressure sensitivity across all the most popular drawing apps, including Procreate. The weight feels good to hold, like a heavier pen. The tip works well. I added a screen protector to mimic a paper-like feel, and I haven't noticed any extra wear or tear on the tip from the more textured surface. The cap on the end that covered the lightning connector can magnetically attach to your iPad while charging the pencil. Some of the other features on the 2nd Gen pencil might be nice perks, but this offers everything you need for note taking and drawing.

Great for older iPads!
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Works great for older iPad. I have an iPad Pro 1st Gen 9.7” A1673 model. At first it wouldn’t connect but once I made sure the Bluetooth was on I used the cable and adapter that comes with the pencil and plugged it into the iPad and then to the pencil. Right away I got a pop up on the iPad to pair the pencil. I do a lot of photo editing and making videos and marketing flyers for work. This pencil makes it a lot easier. Very happy with purchase.

Great!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is an excellent Apple Pencil! I love how smoothly it glides, making it easy to draw and write. Well worth the money. I also like that it comes with two adapters for charging purposes, a usb-c and a lightening cable. The design is sleek and comfortable, but it can be a little slippery so I put a pencil grip on mine to give me a better grip.

Apple Pencil Review
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Apple Pencil is hands down the best stylus I’ve ever used. It’s super responsive, and writing or drawing feels incredibly smooth almost like pen on paper. I use it daily for notes and sketching, and the precision is amazing. The magnetic charging (on newer models) is a nice touch, and I love that it just snaps onto the iPad. It’s not cheap, but for students, artists, or anyone who writes a lot, it’s absolutely worth it.

Loved it!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I really enjoyed this pencil, I am an artist and this pencil made drawing on the iPad so much fun. I loved the pressure sensitivity and everything! It did quit on me a few months later, but it was most likely a connection issue on my end, so no stars are deducted, lol. I got an Apple Pen second gen as a replacement, it sucked. If you want to make digital art, go for this pen!!!
