The pencil works great and I enjoy the new functionality. It was unfortunate that I had to upgrade my Apple Pencil to work with my new iPad. At least it was on sale.

Got this pen for the new iPad Air 2024 (M2). Definitely be careful if you are looking to buy this because it is only compatible with the M2 and M4 version IPads which are this years releases.

You can’t go wrong with this apple pencil. It’s the best tool for you daily routine with your iPad. Plus, bestbuy gave me a huge discount offer that I couldn’t refuse.

I didn't want to have to upgrade from the 2nd Gen to the Pro simply because I was upgrading from the Air M1 to the M2, but here we are. Thankfully this was on sale at the time, so I feel a little better about the unplanned expense - though the battery on my 2nd Gen was starting to drain faster than normal. At any rate, the squeeze function is nice, though the double-tap feedback caught me off guard. I don't think that was necessary; it's just one more thing to drain the battery. If Apple would implement the squeeze function magnetic charging into a less expensive pencil, leaving out the accelerometer, it would have been a better replacement than the Type C pencil. I'm also a bit disappointed that there is still no "eraser" function (using the opposite end exclusively for a broad eraser tool without changing other eraser tool settings) but I guess we can save that for a Pro 2 and change around the magnets again to force the next generation into using that.

Perfect device and size for my needs. Wanted something to replace notepads at work, but didn't want a large device to carry around. The mini with Apple Pencil Pro is perfect. Downloaded GoodNotes, and the combination has been the best thing for my needs.

This pencil is much better than my old one. I barely touch screen and it reads it! Holds charge well too.

The Apple Pencil pro is a game changer for illustrators and art hobbyists. I love how easy it is to set go and the versatility it gives when creating art. 10/10 recommend.

Got a new company iPad that requires this pencil vs the previous model. Annoying to have to upgrade, but it works great.

I already had an Apple Pencil, was a bit bummed out that I had to buy a new one for my new iPad. Other than that it works great and I like that it makes little vibrations when you use the lasso tool or color drop.
