I got these to go with the base model iPad as I think this was the only pencil that would work with it. It works great and charges easily, but honestly I think it is worth upgrading to the iPad Air and Pencil Pro for some quality of life improvements. The USB-C pencil has to be charged separate with a cord, while the pro combined with the air charges magnetically. The users are very happy with the product overall so it is a great tool at a slightly better price, but I like wireless charging ability personally, and that is really my only critique.

Easy to connect to blue-tooth, writes clearly for note taking, drawing on the I pad 7 mini. quickly charges to full charge and holds its charge for 12 hours. it is also easy to monitor the remaining battery life which is ideal so you never have to have it run out of juice. and..EXCELLENT price!!

i use this with the standard ipad. i mainly use it for notetaking for school, and it works fantastic, but i can’t really speak on it for anything else like drawing for instance. also it charges super quickly once in a while it’ll stop working/writing for no reason but i just keep tapping it on the screen until it starts writing again (i guess kinda like you would with a real pen when you’re trying to get the ink flowing again!). also i write a LOT and the pen started to feel uncomfortable after a while so i slid on one of those pen bumper things on it, which does the trick but i guess keep that in mind overall i recommend

By far the best Apple Pencil I've ever owned! Love the USB-Connection and the integrated cap...I can't tell you how many caps I lost on the old lightning version!

This is excellent. I originally bought a cheap Amazon clone, and the battery life was terrible, the charging was terrible, and the powering on and off was terrible. Instead, I finally decided to bite the bullet and buy this one. I was a little worried since it didn't have pressure sensitivity, but ultimately it works really well for note-taking or, you know, simple uses. You might look for something else if you're doing this for digital art, but for my purposes, which is note-taking at university, this thing's a 10 out of 10. And I love how quickly it charges, how long it lasts, and how intuitive it is to use. You just pick it up and touch to the screen, and then it's on, and then after a couple minutes of not using it, it turns back off on its own.

Works good, nice look and super easy to use Super recommended

This thing just works, and it works great with my kids ipads from school. They are locked down, so pretty much any 3rd party active stylus won't work, but since the pencil connects differently, it was picked up right away. Aside from that, as a stylus itself, it works extremely well without any noticeable lag. The fact it can charge magnetically or with the USB cable is a big plus.

The Apple Pencil has been amazing for my digital art in Procreate. Super precise, responsive, and incredibly natural to use.
