I got this Apple Pencil USB-C on a great deal and it has pleasantly surprised me. It’s very lightweight and connects seamlessly. The tip is sensitive, making it perfect for drawing or writing. The only slight drawback is that it doesn’t charge automatically when attached to the iPad, so I’ve occasionally forgotten to charge it. Still, the battery lasts a long time when not in use, so it hasn’t been a real problem. Excellent product overall!

I added the USB-C Apple Pencil to go with my iPad and it has been a great match for everyday writing and sketching. Setup was painless. Pair it, pop the cap to plug in over USB-C when it needs a charge, and you are going. Writing and drawing feel natural. Tracking is accurate, latency is low, and palm rejection means I can rest my hand on the screen without stray marks. For handwritten notes, marking up documents, and casual sketching, it does everything I need and feels solid in the hand. A couple of honest notes. There is no pressure sensitivity, so if you are a serious artist who relies on pressure for line weight, the Pro model is worth the jump. It also does not charge wirelessly by snapping to the side of the iPad, so you charge it with a cable instead. Neither has been a real issue for how I use it. Pencil works great, very easy to use, good battery life, weight and size feel great, my only minor complain is the feeling of writing on glass with this, but I may get over it with time.

Recently upgraded my iPad Air to the newest generation and realized the Apple Pencil 2nd generation was no longer compatible. Somewhat bummed about that, but since I enjoy using the stylus for certain apps, I purchased the USB-C compatible one. Although I liked the charging capatibility with the 2nd generation pencil, this USB-C charges quicker and maintains the charge for longer. No issues with it not working all the time as with the 2nd generation there were times I had to keep "tapping it" against the side of the iPad Air charging area to get it to start charging. Bottom line, the USB-C Apple Pencil was a great buy and upgrade. And I was able to purchase it at a reduced price online when it was available for the limited time too!

Charging is easy. Easy to use and connects rather quickly to my iPad. Quality is very good for the price. Battery life lasts so long on it, even if i use it for a while on a shift at work. Soft feel and doesn't hurt my fingers to grip for hours on end while I write things down.

I’ve been using the Apple Pencil for a while now, and overall it’s been a great addition to my iPad. The precision is excellent—it feels very natural when writing or drawing, almost like using a real pen or pencil. There’s virtually no lag, which makes note-taking, sketching, and even editing documents smooth and efficient. One of the standout features is the pressure sensitivity and tilt functionality, especially for artists or anyone who does detailed work. It responds accurately to different levels of pressure, which adds a lot of control. Pairing and charging are also seamless (especially with the newer versions that magnetically attach to the iPad). On the downside, it is definitely on the expensive side for a stylus, and it’s only compatible with certain iPad models, so you have to make sure you’re buying the right version. Also, there’s no built-in way to track it if you lose it, which can be frustrating given the price. Overall, if you use your iPad frequently for notes, design, or creative work, the Apple Pencil is absolutely worth it. It significantly enhances the experience and feels like a natural extension of the device.

I purchased a new iPad that now works with an Apple pencil and purchased the USB-C Apple pencil. This makes it easy and fun to keep a digital planner as well as digital notebooks. The only drawback is the pencil never turns off unless you disconnect it from Bluetooth. I worried that the charge would wear down quickly but so far it's ok.
