I prefer the pro due to the ease of charging it while it is on the iPad. However, if you have older iPad models, you have to use this one. I wish Apple would fix this software compatibility issue cause the pro is definitely better.

The only difference with this pencil and the other versions was how it's charged and the lack of tapping features, but for basic uses, it works great!
