Apple Pencil USB-C model works the same as the original pencil as far as I can tell. With newer iPads that use USBC instead of lightning for charging this is the obvious choice. It is still vulnerable to the tip breaking just like the older ones. Why doesn't apple design a retractable cover?

I purchased this iPad pencil for my daughter's iPad as she heads into 8th grade, after her Microsoft laptop stopped working. Based on my son’s experience—he successfully used an iPad throughout middle school—I felt confident in making the switch. Many schools now accept iPads as a suitable electronic device, and I’ve found it to be the perfect middle ground: more functional than a phone (which I’m not a fan of for schoolwork), but more lightweight and convenient than a bulky laptop. The pen allows her to write on her iPad as if were paper and pencil.

Little expensive for a pen but does what you want.

First of all, this pen certainly gets the job done. However, I have frustrations with it. Why not support pressure sensitivity? Why put the charging port in a position that prevents magnetically attaching the pencil to the iPad? Why have no indicator of battery life (which seems low, by the way)? That aside, it works well! I like fidgeting with the charging port cover, it's very tactile.

It was good but the paint is chipping. Also the tip of the Apple Pencil looks like it got crushed :(

I love this pen. I was debating buying the USB-C pen or the Apple Pencil Pro. I went with this one because it was cheaper. Charging is super easy and it works perfectly with my iPad mini A17.

Honestly, I love this pencil. It is the cheapest of the 3, and personally I feel that it fulfills all the viral and basic functions that a digital pen can offer you, in addition to being very useful.

The blue color is really pretty and looks even better in person. The cover feels sturdy and protects my iPad well without adding too much bulk. Overall, great quality for the price. Definitely recommend it!!

well well well where do i start, i got this for my gf she can have the full set of apple stuff. she loves it, its more of a "im bored let me use my pencil" type of buy. she is learning to draw and stuff on it.

Works really good, very useful. I feel like it is a necessity if you have college courses where you will be taking notes, makes it really convenient instead of using paper and pencil.
