Great style and design.
Charge can last 2-3 days depending on usage.
Water lock feature is nice, a way to remove water from the speaker.
I use it everyday and I love having it.
I track my sleep, my food and exercise and my heart rate.
Customizable faces is nice as well.
Sadly The OS can be slow and laggy. Hopefully this improves with updates, Speaking of updates this will take a bit of time with both your phone and our watch. About an hour.

I have been using my garmin watch for about a year and it works great for tracking activities. Recently it kept disconnecting from phone and would have to restart for it to sync. I wouldn’t noticed it was not connected until I check a found that my notifications wer not showing up. Decided to give the Apple Watch a try and have not had any issues with connection/notifications. Display is large and bright. Love the water proof feature in this version And battery
Life for me will last up to 2 days. While driving I do not need to look at my phone to see or even reply to messages and can also take calls on the watch Which garmin 235 could not do. Overall great watch that works with iPhone and meets all my expectations.

I've had the Nike apple watch for about a month now and I can say without a doubt that I'm pleased with the watch' The battery life is fantastic. I've had the first gen and the series 1 and they would make it through a day with no problem but the series 2 is lasting me three days. It'll be down to 10% but it'll make it the third day. I also like that the display it brighter then on the previous series. I'm outside a lot and it makes it easier to see the time and other info on my watch face. I'm very happy with this series and the Nike band just a little flare to the overall appearance. Apple did a nice job with this one.

The Nike Apple Watch series 2 42mm was a great investment. My wife splurged on this for my birthday and I love it! It is a great tracker that can track activity when running or biking, both of which I love. The battery can last for about two days on one full charge. It could definitely use more premade watch faces, however you can create many customized watch faces using Photos. Can't wait until the software is updated to allow more customization with Photos. I love the lightweight breathable band on this watch. The heart rate and the steps are almost in line with my fitbit blaze. I have worn them together at the same time to compare and there isn't a lot of difference in the steps, although i believe there is a difference in how it tracks. It is great that this watch has GPS and can connect to Wi-Fi. The next software update is supposed to make connecting to Wi-Fi even easier. I'm still learning a lot of the ins and outs of the watch but I think it is amazing! My wife found it on sale and I would definitely recommend. The fact that it was on sale was an added bonus! I use both the Runkeeper app and the Nike plus app to track my runs. I use the built-in work out App to track bike rides.
The ability to text by speech and Write text with your fingers is amazing. I love being able to answer texts without having to get my phone out, or to at least see the messages. You can also check email messages on it , Although you can't see HTML messages. The band is very easy to change. If you like Apple devices and you are a gadget person you will love it!

I have a regular Series 1 Apple Watch and decided to get the new series 2 for two main reasons: inclusion of GPS and it's being waterproof. Perfect for my active lifestyle around water. It's worked great at tracking my swim workouts both in the pool and the ocean. My other favorite features are receiving texts and notifications on the watch. I think it looks good too! I haven't really used the Nike features as I'm not a runner.

This is actually really good just as a watch, like the old Casio digital wrist watches I wore when I was a kid. Easy to set it up large to display date and time. It is also a great little computer for answering texts, accepting or rejecting calendar invites, quickly reviewing email and limited app access. It is also really waterproof so you can exercise, shower and do chores all without taking it off and stashing it. I get excellent all day battery life and I don't feel an urge to upgrade to a version 3 just for cellular access. I will use it till it falls apart and then get whatever they have replaced it with.

I had been wanting an Apple Watch for awhile but held out due to the fact that it did not have the capacity for running that other watches like Garmin had. I was very impressed with the newest edition with it's GPS capabilities. This was a great selling point for me and I am happy that Apple incorporated this feature.
I did have a hard time with my first fun with the Nike Apple Watch - I skimmed the user manual and then went out for a jog; the watch did not record anything other than time. After a call to Apple support I was told that the watch would only implement the GPS tracking with the Apple based exercise app and not with the Nike run app. That was a HUGE let down. However, being the pessimist that I am, I did not fully believe the Apple adviser and I decided to experiment, and turned on the Apple activity app first and then the Nike run app next during my second jog; the Nike app worked after that and now with all of my jogs, I have not had a problem.
Other than that hiccup, I have not had any problems and am very satisfied with the watch in general.
The battery life lasts about 1.5-2 days with moderate use and switching out the bands is super easy. I'm sure that I don't use the watch to its full capability however I am very happy with the purchase.

I do have one thing I want to say about the apple watch. When you use apps that are on your phone like calorie trackers or healthy habit apps, you usually have to have the app open on your phone first which makes moving the apps onto my watch kind of pointless. Otherwise it is amazing. The fact that it is water proof made me go to this one instead of the first generation. I enjoy swim workouts and sweat a lot at the gym. It tracks everything very well and I love the fact you can change the watch face to whatever you want. I use the analog face at work and then switch to the workout face when I begin my swim/running workouts. It also has neat faces that show astronomy and tidal details based on your location. I love it and plan on using it to help me better myself!

I had done extensive research into the Apple Watch Series 2 before I finally set about purchasing this last week. When the original Apple Watch was first announced, I was highly enticed to buy from the get go (probably because I'm a huge Apple fanboy). However, four main things held me back. The first issue was the lack of GPS in the watch. I run regularly in Cross Country and Track & Field, and often need to know specific distances for workouts and pace training, so that was a big letdown for me. Second was the lack of confirmed waterproofing, despite reports that it was indeed that. Third was the reportedly abysmal battery life, and fourth was the major lag-time reported in typical Watch usage. For the time being, I decided (to my own disappointment) to settle on using the Garmin Vivoactive for my smartwatch/fitness purposes. The Vivoactive was an excellent GPS-equipped fitness watch, but a highly lacking smartwatch, with only basic notification features and no speaker or microphone. I have a love for all things technology, so I anxiously waited to see what Apple would do with the second generation of Apple Watch.
To my delight, Apple corrected all my personal issues with the Apple Watch and so much more with the introduction of the Series 2. Suddenly, I was faced with a watch that had GPS, a new dual-core processor, complete waterproofing, and, although unconfirmed by the company itself, a bigger and better battery. The later introduction of the Nike+ edition, which I settled on purchasing, was an even greater incentive. At no greater cost, I received a special perforated sports band that will undoubtedly help me with breathe-ability issues in a way my Vivoactive could not. Throwing all caution to the wind, I purchased the 42mm Space Gray Apple Watch Nike+ edition and I am happy to say I could not be any more satisfied with this watch as of yet.
Though I can't compare it to any previous models, the battery life is phenomenal thus far. I've gone down to an average of 50% or so per day, although that is without GPS use yet. I'll report later whether I found the GPS acceptable or not, but I have read many other reviews lauding its excellent performance.
However, I can comprehensively say that, from a smartwatch perspective, the Apple Watch Series 2 delivers on all accounts. I have experience little to absolutely no slowdowns whatsoever; apps transition smoothly, load screens are brisk, and WatchOS 3 moves along at a brisk pace. I did have one minor instance of a crash within the Facebook Messenger App in which the Watch restarted, but I have not experienced that issue again and I attribute it to an issue with the first loading of the application.
The waterproofing also appears to be true as well, as I tested the watch fully submerged in a sink for several days doing dishes with no ill effects. The water lock and ejection feature are also neat additions that work to an excellent degree.
I also found Apple's user interface very enjoyable, which may contradict with many others' opinions. The app "cluster" of the main screen, while seeming to be a random mess of bubbles at first sight, proved to be elegant and flashy when navigating the watch in the company of others, and I have yet to search cluelessly for an app without finding it.
Even if I ever would need assistance in finding apps, I'm happy to report that Siri integration within the watch is phenomenal. Siri is quick to the response upon activation with both "Hey Siri" dictation and a long press of the snappy and intuitive "digital crown" button. Microphone sensitivity seems to be at an all-time level of accuracy, and the speakers on the Watch are crisp, albeit a bit grainy and sometimes quiet when taking phone calls from the wrist.
Hopefully, I'll update this review later with some added information about fitness tracking and GPS, but for now, I'll conclude:
For those of you looking for an excellent smartwatch with a wide array of features, the Apple Watch Series 2 is for you. The design is elegant and seamless, the interface quick and responsive, and the overall experience a true pleasure. As with many second-generation products, Apple has figured it out.
Best wishes,
406Tech

I did not want one of these. I had a Fitbit Charge and really liked it. It would monitor my sleep as well as activity. My wife bought this for my bday. I almost took it back. I tried it though and was pleasantly surprised. I thought it was too big bc I was used to wearing a fitbit. I got used to wearing it quickly and started to enjoy the watch. I like that it syncs to my phone. I can send and receive text, which I didn't think was a big deal. But if you are busy and cant get to the phone, at least you can read the text and make a quick reply. Battery is pretty good too. Only complaint, it wont monitor sleep. Come on Apple. Fitbit can do that. No regrets though and I would recommend the watch.

I looked at these since the gen 1's came out. At first I did not want the Apple watch because it was not very workout friendly. No built in GPS or other features that FitBit or Garmin had. Then the gen 2 Nike addition came out and I love this thing. Glad I waited, very easy to use, syncs perfect with my iPhone anywhere in the house theres no need to be next to the phone to read text messages. I can even answer calls if the phone is to far away.
My wife and I do crossfit, she uses the FitBit blaze (which she loves). The Nike Apple watch tracks my workouts very similar to hers, I have run inside on the treadmill and the distance meter was very close to the treadmills counter. Its still winter her so I have not used the GPS tracking for outdoor runs.
So far I love this and would recommend the watch for someone who works out and owns an iPhone.

I waited a long time before buying the Apple Watch. I just didn’t see the point. I wish I would have bought it sooner. It is a great way to track you activity and help you reach fitness goals you may have. Also, it is very convenient to look at your watch to see if a recently received message/ email is important without needing to look at your phone.

I picked up this Apple Watch Series 2 after much deliberation and reading other reviews online. After a few weeks to test it out firsthand, I can say that it's a great product and am very pleased with it. The software interface on the watch is easy to understand, it looks great, works well with my iPhone 6S, and the battery life on the watch has, so far, worked better than I had imagined.
I had a Fitbit Charge HR in the past, but was frustrated by some of its fitness readings (like recording heartrate and steps when it was in my bag or pocket) and quirks (like its reliance to try and get users to wear it practically all the time, even sleeping). This Apple Watch finds a great balance in being a great fitness tracker device and an everyday watch. The fitness and heartrate readings seem to be accurate and useful. I wear it during the day, leave it off during the night, and charge it every other night. Simple.
Highly recommended.

The Nike+ edition features all the same characteristics for the standard Apple Watch Series 2 (GPS, waterproof, faster CPU) with 2 extras:
- 2 new faces are available on top of the usual ones, displaying more prominently the activity status
- a new sport band that is even more comfortable that the standard ones, all the holes help with the breathing and perspiration, it makes a difference during a long run (band not available separately)
Sold at the same price as the standard Series 2, it's a no brainer if you're into sports, as you can buy any other non Nike band standalone.

After owning the 1st generation Apple Watch for a couple of years, I decided it was time to upgrade to the new one. Though I don't swim, I do run once in a while and wanted the option of tracking my run with GPS without having to take my iPhone. I also liked the cool band that is great for breathability.
Pros:
- Much faster than 1st generation
- Integrated GPS
- Waterproof (though I used my other one in the shower all the time with no issues)
- Really bright display
- Great looking band (perfect for running and breathability)
- Improved battery life (I was able to get two days of use instead of only one)
- Quick glances at texts, emails, and other notifications
- You can store local music from Apple Music and listen through bluetooth headphones
- Great for swimming

I am a working professional but my job requires physical activity and to be on the go a lot of the time, but I can look at my watch to see if it's family or urgent which makes things awesome and I also see work notifications through an app that works with the watch and gives me GPS on the watch to the place I need to go.
Awesome watch. Like Apple products, smooth function and operation and easy interface between Apple products.
Pros:
Apps
Interface
Customization (could use more)
Fits very well
Georgeous
Amazon watch straps work pretty well and are way cheaper to customize looks
WATERPROOF! (Reason I went with this one)
Awesome alerts to phone. Really helpful when driving and at work
Cons:
Needs better fitness ability. More breakdowns, better graphs and better data tracking. Mostly accurate but user interface could be way better.
Scratched face before taking outside of the house. Best Buy returned. But I got Apple care and they said.. kick rocks! Ha. Joke. It's a rugged fitness watch? Meh. Nice accessory.
Put screen protector and case on ASAP. Did that with Watch #2 you get used to it and it looks rad.
Make it work with android. The market you'd get would be huge.
Sleep tracking built in. REM etc.
Better interaction between other users.
WE NEED BETTER BATTERY LIFE! How can the blaze (same size similar features) go 1-2 weeks and I have to charge nightly or it'll lose charge by night two? INSANE in the membrane. Fo' real though. Ughhh.
Cheaper accessories from Apple! Holy guacamole! How in the fluff can they charge that much?

I waited to purchase the series 2 apple watch as I wanted to see some of the bugs worked out from the original apple watch. I went with the Nike watch and have been very pleased. I love being able to stay on top of my notifications via my watch. The Apple OS is very intuitive and easy to use. I like using the watch to track my fitness. I have compared the heart rate monitor with my chest strap while rowing and found the numbers to be perfect with each other (within 1-3 BPM). I could not say the same about my fitbit charge 2. I think the price tag is maybe a bit steep and I'm not sure I would have purchased the series 2 and just gotten the series 1. However, the brighter screen, gps, and waterproofs features are nice...they are not necessary in my opinion.

The iWatch is fun to operate and easy to setup. Messages, emails and alerts come to your wrist eliminating the need to get your phone out. The Nike Run app keeps track of all of your workout statistics and pulse rate so you can see at a glance. The Activity app keeps track of your daily standing, movement and calorie burn. It even has a Breathe app that reminds you to take a break from the hustle and bustle of the day and focus on your breathing for a minute or two before carrying on your day. Still a lot to explore with the watch, but hopefully my review helps. If you're on the fence about buying the iWatch, I would definitely say go get it! I have the 42mm screen. I would probably get a bigger size if Apple offered it.
