I returned the watch. Actually I never opened the box. After a few days of extra research, I felt the watch to be overkill... I also learned that the band was too small for my 9" wrist. When I called APPLE SUPPORT they said they had a wrist band that would fit but expected me to BUY it. When I asked if they would sell me a watch with the XL band they said that they could not and I would have to BUY the XL band...REALLY??? PATHETIC!!!

Not crazy about the way it feels on the wrist and the Nike band has so many holes it's hard to determine where to fasten strap.

    Outstanding Wearable Smartwatch!

This is finally a solid product and it took Apple a while to get it right! Finally GPS is incorporated into the NIke+ Apple Watches and also all Series 2. This should have really been there from the beginning but Apple has to start somewhere with new products and create a product road map. With the WatchOS 3.1 update the battery life is incredible now and really is understated by Apple. This is really just the beginning as the future for wearables in Health/Technology and future features will make this truly a must have for all iPhone owners. It might take Apple more time to perfect this product with even more amazing features, but it truly will be a great addition to the ecosystem and staying healthy/connected! It's time to make the jump and purchase one of these 100% without hesitation! Will be a fun ride or run no pun intended!

Have had the watch almost 3 years. For the price I would expect it to last a few more years. My apple care ran out a few months ago and the watch touch screen has quit working. The trade in value at Best Buy is $45.

The watch was linked to a previous account and when my spouse opened it and tried to use it, I looked like a total fool. Contacted Apple care, they said they received a few calls from Best Buy about this.

     Watch has surprised me...

    Posted .

I've been a Mac guy since 1985 - only because I waited for the 512k to come out. I've owned and supported just about every Apple device made since then, personally or for work. The  Watch was the one thing I held off on. Mainly, as a guy that used to spend way too much money on traditional watches, the idea of this was a bit of "it's too stale" or "I need a break from tech". My daughter let me know that she was getting one shortly after having her first baby this spring - to help schedule feedings, naps, etc. She's also really into fitness since her husband is a trainer. I admit to rolling my eyes - I told my wife - "imagine, we raised three kids with no Apple Watch". We both kinda laughed, but then it went out of my mind. Next, the kids got my wife one for Mother's Day. She was in love with it form day-one, and used it for all sorts of things on a trip to Ireland shortly after for a friends memorial. As I watched her use and really enjoy it, I got to the point where I was really curious and started playing around with it. I was admittedly getting a bit jealous. Although my eyes are starting to get that the that sucky stage due to so much time on computers, I really did dig it. So, I waited and searched and finally got it on sale at BestBuy for $329. 42mm Nike, charcoal and neon green. Setup is a piece of cake, getting used to watchOS is a little more challenging, and required some patience with my eyes. After getting it all paired, setup, etc. with the iPhone 7, I began to discover things it could do. I've got Apple Home Kit devices at home, and AppleTV, and more. So far, with companion apps, I can control or access all of them without issue. Of course as time goes by you discover more apps like relaxation, sports scores, exercise mapping, music, and more. Battery life is a good two days, 1.5 with heavy use. I ended up getting the coolest little $10 accessory for it too for charging, it's on Amazon. Awkward name, but if you're an old Apple guy like me, it's really cute - and well made and useful! elago W3 Stand [Original] [White] - [Vintage Apple Monitor][Supports Nightstand Mode][Cable Management] - for Apple Watch Series 1 and 2. If you have an Apple Watch, get one - or one of the newer "gumdrop" iMac models. Anyways, I've only had it a couple weeks, so in that limited time, I've been pretty much blown away. I've only got one other watch now - a very big Seiko Tuna Diver - and that doesn't work well with a dress shirt/suit/tux, etc. With the customization options here, you can make it look great with any outfit. Not only that, but the strap system is hands-down the best I've had on ANY watch at any price. Well done, Apple. I pretty well hooked on this thing.
