I love my new Nike+ themed Apple Watch. I wore the fuel band for Nike for years. This is a logical extension of the Nike and Apple partnership. Either all the treadmills are wrong on distance or the watch is not able to calibrate based on edits to run distance. It gets off by -.10 per mile for 9 min mile pace runners like me--have to run 1/10 more. The faster you run, the bigger the gap. Sprint or Fartlek workouts are not even close to right. My wife used to make fun of me when we would run and I just had the Nike app on phone because the (now NRC) app is saying congratulations when her gps watch says we have +1/4 mile to go. Now the Apple Nike+ Watch is the one that says I still have a 1/4 mile to run when she is finished. Still a great product that has great style...just needs some calibration. Lots of smart people on the left coast should be able to figure this out.

Bought it for my son and he loves it. He can leave his phone in his pocket.

If you run a lot, and would like to use wireless headphones for running, the Apple Watch and Airpods have my highest recommendation. Syncing music to the watch is a slow and painful process, but works fabulously once that's over with. I don't see a real need for this device unless you use it for fitness tracking, and depending on your needs, other trackers may be better suited. I enjoy this for the ease of use and because I've largely bought in to the Apple ecosystem.

I bought this watch in hopes that I could leave my phone at home when I go for a run. For the most part, it has allowed me to do that. However, it doesnt work nearly as good as using your phone or a legit running-specific watch. First, it doesn't have a built in altimeter. So it cant track elevation without the phone. Many of the running app do not have full functionality. For instance, the Nike app seems to work the best only because it will get me voice-alerts for splits/pace etc. However, I cant set a run based on pace or heart rate without the phone. Runkeeper seems to have a lot more functionality, but it has no voice-alerts, so you have to constantly look a the watch while running. Mapmyrun doesnt work at all without the phone. Strava is OK, but very limited in on-screen info. The built in apple workout out app works well but also liimited in choices of setting pace/hear rate, etc. The heart rate monitor doesnt work in realtime. It seems to take an average or measurement every 15 seconds. As for the smart functionality, its pretty good. Its nice to get notifications without having to grab my phone to look (esp when im travelling in the city). Overall, if you want this for working out, I would look elsewhere. If you are OK with a lite version of running watch, but also have some cool integration with your phone, then this is for you.

My husband's colleagues all have this watch, and he mentioned frequently how much they all raved about how the watch made their work easier. He is trauma medical sales, and is always on the phone....from home, to on the road, to the operating room. I surprised him with this watch for Father's Day. Having the watch makes it much easier to check business related text messages without having to handle a phone. Also, he can use his phone in the operating room for various things (a timer, etc) and still be able to check text messages and phone calls while not disturbing the present operating functions on his phone. I bought him the biggest face available, as 50 year old eyes require bigger fonts, and he is very happy. It is rather funny, as he tells me that people who are unaware of his smart watch technology ask him why he is always checking the time!

I had the original Apple Watch and it was a 5 star product. The battery life has been much better on the Series 2. Basically all features are improved, especially the waterproof mode. If you are into tech, you shouldn't look at any other smart watch.

Great look, can be styled up or dressed down with a change of the band. On board GPS works wonders during runs as you don't need to carry your iPhone. Sync solver allows data to be transferred to my old FitBit account but does not track my steps weekly.

This watch paired with my phone helps me keep track of my life and health

Excellent smart watch for your apple eco-system. integrates fully with all my other apple products and has become a vital part of my day. Love the notifications. Makes life simple without having to pull my phone out of my pocket every time it vibrates.

This is an excellent watch and very comfortable. I love the gps feature. It keeps me from having to take my phone on the trails when mountain biking if I choose not too. The heart rate sensor also seems to be much better than the previous model.

If you like gadgets and Apple the watch compliments the phone. It's been great for runs where I don't have to worry about taking my phone. I work in a place that discourages using phones to text etc so having the access to that on the wrist is a plus
