Love my apple watch, series 3 Nike band, I thought of getting the cell coverage, but felt I didn't need to spend extra monthly fee for service as I usually have my phone with me. I had series 1 watch & loved it until I hit it with tennis racket & broke the glass, so I upgraded.

Enjoy having most of the important apps on my wrist when having my phone in front of me isn't convenient. I am a swimmer and really love that this device is waterproof and tracks my swim workouts. With the OS update, even more functions are available at my fingertips. The message and call haptic is very useful in quiet situations and the tracking capabilities for workouts and runs seem to be accurate. The only thing I'd love to see on future designs is a curved body that fits closer to the shape of a wrist.

Is this watch necessary? Of course not. Do you need it? Of course not. Do you want it? OF COURSE! This "watch" will do most of what your iPhone will do with the added convenience of not having to pull your iPhone out of your pocket. Very cool, albeit overpriced (It's Apple). PROS: Easily customization of face, GPS lets me track distance/time of my bike rides, easy to change wrist bands, fun fun fun. Holds charge for several days CONS: a bit bulky. Overpriced replacement wristbands (Skip the Apple Store; better deals on Amazon). Lack of Owners Manual (Go online to get one and figure out many functions)

I use my watch for everything and rarely take it off. Using a saw and getting saw dust in it, swimming, showering, etc. I run with it every day. I charge it every other day and there is little lag/glitches. I will keep using the iPhone just to keep using this watch.

Have had the watch for a number of weeks and the battery life is the awesome. I️ can go easily the whole day and still have 60% battery life. I also like the fact that it works well in the pool and can shower with it in too. Works well with the golf app too.

The Apple Watch is a powerfully functional wearable computer in a wide variety of contexts for me, from heavy traveling, fitness activity, a very useful GPS navigator, Apple Pay, I even take calls with it. It's Apple quality through and through, so everything just works, and does so reliably. I owned the Apple Watch I, so I wanted to upgrade to the latest version. In true Apple fashion, there are no real surprises here, it's a logical and consistent improvement over the predecessor. Like my iPhone I've totally integrated it into my life, and it would be hard imagining things without it.

This is one of the best smart watch in the market, as expected from apple it brings the comfort of everyday activities to your wrist and at a touch if a fingerprint. The water resistance and built in GPS are great upgrades from the previous generations

I purchased this to replace my Series 1 apple watch, gifted my two month old watch to my daughter. She loves it. This watch is amazing. The nike band is way more comfy compared to the regular sport band. This watch works great. I love the nike apps when im running on the treadmill and it keeps my steps all day. I got it at a good deal. It has gps built into it just like the series 3 one. I saved a grip in buying the series 2. Apple store said they basicly are the same watch in specs. So i love my watch. I even went to the apple store and put apple care on it. Because you never know. And the best buy guy was so cool that he even installed my zagg glass luxe screen protector on the watch for free. And he did a great job on that. Not one bubble and it doesnt pop off or anything. Thank you best buy for being so great. Wouldnt shop anywhere else.

Out of all the smart watches I still think this has one of the best designs. The interchangeable bands are awesome. Waterproof and gps are exactly what I wanted. The battery doesn't last a week but I can't use this at work so it is not an issue for me. The Nike+ black and volt band looks sweet and I love that I can take this in the pool or the beach with me. If you want the Watch faces from the Nike edition Watch just download the Nike Run Club app and those same faces are available there. I ended buying it because they had $70 off and I had several gift cards.

On like the iphone being 3yrs behind in technology the Apple watch is not and I think is the best smartwatch on the market at this time gets 2 days battery life on mine the band's are one of the nicest one to. Sadly it only works with iphone

Wasn't sure if this would live to the hype. Wasn't sure I needed it. This was replacing a whole slew of Fitbit models that had come and gone and for that reason I was looking for something a little more robust or tough that would stick around and not go...so far so good. The watch is pretty slick and is a snap to set up. Using it is totally up to the person who buys it and understands how it interacts with various apps. If you use lots of apps for assorted reasons this watch integrates with a ton of them. It's cool that it syncs with my phone as well as my Bluetooth headphones. It's also sweet that I don't need my phone when I run or ride. I can pretty quickly load a new playlist and I'm off which is cool. The watch has lots of options to personalize which I like because it feels more like mine than just something off the shelf I had to accept. The watch feels well made, the buttons don't feel loose or cheap and there are a ton of bands to choose from. I have dropped it bumped it run into things with it and it still runs like a charm without a scratch. So overall I'm pumped I got the Apple Watch and I think it was a solid buy and worth the money!!! Drawbacks? I have to charge it every two days where my fitbits lasted much longer but then again my Apple Watch is receiving emails playing music and a ton of other things my flex could only wish for. I'd say the biggest thing I'd love to see is an app like the Fitbit dashboard for my Apple Watch. I got used to that layout and kind of miss it and also there are so many Fitbit users I know I miss being connected to them for challenges and contests. There are apps that allow both to sync but everyone has to download them to see my Apple Watch and not everyone wants to or knows to do that. Seriously if this is the biggest drawback you can't go wrong buying the Apple Watch it's great!!

I waited for series 2 with the water resistance feature. Glad I did as I swim and didn't want to be worried about breaking an expensive watch. Features things I had wanted in a watch with syncing to apps and the music in my phone. Checking texts and emails quickly and at a glance without having to remove my phone from a pocket or open it up in a meeting setting. GPS tracking is nice for running and syncs back w phone later. Easy to use out of the box, charges quickly and holds a charge all day with heavy usage. Great addition to my Apple product line.

I switched from Fitbit to the Apple watch since the cost for the latest fitbit and the 2nd gen apple watch was the same. I am pleasantly surprised with the functionality and fitness tracking this product has.

Crystal clear screen that shows great under any lighting condition. Many different watch faces to choose from and be costumized to your liking. Easy to use and has a great battery life.

I thought it would be more difficult to learn how to use, but it was super easy. I use several features ( answer my phone, reply to textx, and even the activity ) and all work great.

Best watch out there. Love it for exercise tracking, heart rate, water proof, GPS so I don't need my phone when running, riding etc. I can listen to music through my watch with blue tooth headphones and without my phone. Love the daily movement tracking and best of all it gives me reminders to stand and with water app to drink water etc. all of which are easy to forget during a busy day. Love the interchangeable bands as well.

Overall better product, being waterproof is a huge plus. Having GPS without your phone is great too. My only complaint would be that it loses my heart rate too often during exercise and if it could store music and Bluetooth to headphones it would be perfect. I'd never run with my phone again. Overall, ease of use, ability to track nearly any activity and convenience of alerts this thing is fantastic.

I had a second generation Series 1 that was perfectly fine and worked great so I didn't need this. Mostly bought if for the "cool" factor of having the Nike+ version but have come to appreciate the improvements and new features over the previous model. Like before the watch has lots of watch face options to personalize to the individual user, which makes it seem unique to me as opposed to the same thing everyone else has. The addition of the two exclusive faces for Nike+ makes it feel even more special. The fit and finish of the watch makes it feel well made and rugged. If you are a swimmer or around water, the waterproof feature that allows you to use the watch without worry at the beach or while swimming laps in the pool is worth the purchase price alone. The ability to change bands to fit the occasion also extends the customization factor. The addition of built in GPS makes it more functional as you no longer need to carry your phone to log time and distance when on a run or ride. The ability to download a playlist to the watch without being tethered to the phone makes the watch more practical as a standalone product. The only drawbacks for me are the the battery life (1 - 2 days depending on the apps that you use, notifications that you have set up, and other features that turn on) and the price. But you get what you pay for. Even the Apple haters would have to admit that this a leader in the smartwatch arena.

At first, I was hesitant in purchasing this item because of the price (in comparison to the other models), however. If I had to make this decision again, the outcome would be the same. It has all of the features that I could ever ask for. GPS, waterproof, activity tracking, and most importantly - it tells time! I absolutely love this watch. This was definitely my best purchase in a while.

What else can I say, it’s Apple. The best selling watch in the world. They hit a homerun with this one. Definitely get the apple care, worth the add.
