There are a few reasons I am evaluating it as a 5 star. The setup was easy. Observed some youtube recordings too for additionally understanding. The applications are fantastic, and customization alternatives are excellent. I am an exercise loving individual. I sign in around 4-5 hours of day by day activity on the watch. Activities incorporate from weights, cardio to an hour of a swim or water exercises. The watch performs extraordinarily with the readings of the occasions as it peruses of the heart rate. The gadget works incredibly in water also. If there is any water around the crown, the watch guides through the show to take after techniques on depleting the water out. The watch has an element to wear on left or right wrist with the crown confronting left or right which encourages me while I have my gloves on amid exercises. Because most time the gloves can push the crown and the display will come on over and over again. The wrist band is instrumental for the sweat to deplete out rapidly and can be launderable also. I need to charge it consistently as a result of overwhelming use. In any case, amid my off day (Saturday and Sunday), a full charge is useful for two days. Every one of the elements is incredible telephone calls can be addressed, and messages can be seen, and most circumstances answered inside pre-chosen one touch quotes.

I was a previous devotee of the Pebble watches for a couple of years but since their disappearance I resorted to the Apple Watch. Welcome Personal Assistant! The functions I need work 99% - (no electronic device is a 100%)of the time and the battery life is more than a day! I bought the "O" version which works fine to this day except for the huge gash I have on it makes it difficult to read sometimes. So when Series 2 went on sale, I bought one int the silver color I wanted. This Series2 seems more robust and screen better looking so no regrets!

The Apple Watch series 2 is a well built watch with some nice features. Now that it's waterproof to 50m and has gps, I thgt the watch was worth checking out. If u are a techy or fitness person then this watch is for you. If you are not then I wouldn't spend the money. I still believe it's a lot of money to still be tethered to your iPhone for most apps. I'm an avid golfer, so I'm hoping the built in gps works with the golf apps effectively, but still waiting for the weather to change. Another nice feature is being able to listen to music without carrying your phone with you, as long as you have Bluetooth headphones. Overall I believe the Apple watch is nice and convenient but still pricey.

    Nice Smart Watch

I purchased the Apple Watch Nike+, not so much because I wanted the Nike version of the Apple Watch 2, but because the "regular", non-Nike version of the Apple Watch 2 was backordered, but the Nike version was not. The main difference is that the Nike version has a band that is better suited for exercise. But since the watch can be used with a broad range of bands, this is really not an important distinction. There are also a few Nike-specific apps, but you don't have to use them. So, its really just a version 2. Version 2 seems a nice improvement over version 1 in that it is represented to be highly water resistant. When my Apple Watch version 1 died (possibly due to exposure to water), I questioned whether it was worth replacing. After all, I have several "dumb" watches. But, now that I have lived with the version 2 for several weeks I am reminded how useful a smart watch can be. I do believe that the usefulness is enough to justify the expense. I particularly like that I can see who is calling my iPhone by looking at my wrist, rather than needing to yank the phone from my pocket. I also like the haptic cues the watch gives when using the phone for gps navigation. The new "Breathe" app, which prompts the user to perform meditative breathing for relaxation is likely to be appreciated by those familiar with Yoga, and maybe by those who should become so.

I was an Apple Watch hold out. I have all other apple products - iPhone, Apple TV, MacBook, iPad - but I just didn't feel that the watch was something that I needed or that it would make a real difference. Granted - I am only a month in - but I am finding myself considerably more active. The reminders to get up and move push me to do more than just simply get up and stand for a minute - and be more active. Completing my rings and increasing my goals - I wouldn't say that part has been "fun" but seeing I am only 100 calories away from my move goal at the end of the day has made me get up and go out for a quick run to get that ring completed - and I am not a fitness nut - but I can see a couple of positive habits developing. I travel for work and using the watch for directions has been nice - I'm often in cities I am not very familiar with and using the map with my phone and the notifications/gentle taps on my wrist as I approach a turn are extremely helpful while driving. To be honest - I am a total apple universe fanboy - I usually go out and buy the new apple product within a month of its release - but like I said - I was a total holdout when it came to the watch - I didn't want it or feel like I needed it - but so far I am happy with the Apple Watch Nike addition. It is lighter and more comfortable than I thought it would be

I own both first and second generation Apple Watches. The Nike+ (2nd gen) offers incredible battery life compared to the 1st gen Apple Watch even though it offers GPS, which is quite accurate. The piece of mind that it is water resistant and can be worn swimming will put your mind at ease around water too. I am very satisfied with this purchase to say the least.

I never got the first Apple Watch because I didn't think I'd ever use it and it didn't have the option of stand alone gps. Whenever Apple decided to come out with Series 2 and collab with Nike--who happens to make my favorite watch band of all time but stopped making it several years ago until now--I had to get it. ~watch is super comfy ~I use a ton of the features while on the road such as Siri to look up directions, play a song or call someone ~really like the exclusive Nike face ~gps for running hooks up quick

I own an original so this was an upgrade for me. The series two is better than I anticipated. Battery will last two days even with calendar alarms and phone calls and the like. Running with it it is even better because of the gps chip onboard. I leave the phone at home. Waterproof so I never worry swimming or getting in the shower. Love it!

I do not take any purchase lightly. I went into this one not really wanting an Apple Watch. I did not want to become one of the flock. So, after weeks of research (literally), I finally settled on the latest watch from another well known fitness watch company. I held onto it for 12 days..... it was way too expensive for the limited features it provided. I returned it. And for exactly the same amount of money, I walked out with the Apple Watch. I do not regret it at all. Baaaaaaaaaaaaaa.......

This was my first experience with the Apple Watch of any sort and it is fantastic! So easy to use, seamlessly pairs with my iPhone. No need to keep pulling my phone out of my pocket every time it vibrates to see what it is. I can simply use the watch to keep me updated. The activity report works like a charm! Best purchase this year :)

This was more of an impulse buy as I thought would I really like it and would the small face be hard to read. So far so good other than in low light settings. I went with the Nike band since I love the neon green even though I am not a runner The golf GPS is what I really want to try out but the weather is now starting to break.

Another excellent product from Apple... Love the fact that the new Series 2 is water resistant to 50 meters which is perfect for my son who may forget to remove it. One less thing to worry about. My son loves the watch, and all its features. He also loves the fact that he can change up the look, by simply changing out the band.

I received the Apple Watch Nike+ 42mm Space Gray Aluminum for Father's Day. I was surprised it wasn't a necktie or cologn! This watch is very intuitive like the rest of Apple products. It is simple to use, and keeps accurate data on calories burned and exercise performed. It has a feature to choose your type of exercise. I chose swimming, set the length of the pool, and the target calories to burn. The watch was able to determine what the primary stroke was, the number of laps, the total distance swam, as well as total calories burned . It links to my iPhone and I can see who's calling, read text messages and respond, and see calendar reminders without having to pick up my phone. I stay up-to-date on News, stocks, or any other item that I need. Additionally, I have a golf GPS app on my iPhone, which works outstandingly well with this watch. I no longer have to carry my phone from the golf cart to determine my yardage to the hole. I highly recommend this watch to any person who wants to make their life easier. This was the best Father's Day present. Thank you to my beautiful wife and loving daughter.

I recently started my own business, so I need to be connected at all times. This watch is PERFECT to let me know when someone is contacting me while stepping away from my phone or computer. I love being able to interchange my wallpaper to my personal photos and the kaleidoscope option that changes almost every time I look at the watch face! Being able to personalize my home screen is important to me because I use my timer often. So glad I finally purchased!

Aside from that, this thing sends notifications from my phone so I don't need to take it out of my pocket. I have receive texts, Facebook and G-Chat messages, score updates, e-mails, and phone calls on this thing! I received a phone call during dinner at a pretty loud restaurant and the speaker was very loud. Haven't tried submerging it in water but I don't have to worry about it getting wet when I'm washing my hands in the bathroom or cooking in the kitchen. Overall, a cool thing to have. Worth the price? It's okay. I'd give it 5 stars if it were $50-$100 cheaper.

I wasn't too keen on getting an Apple watch but decided to buy one when Best Buy had it on sale. I have not been disappointed with the purchase. it is really convenient to not have to pull my phone out when I get a call or a text. I can look at my watch to see if I want to respond. I do like the activity apps too as they help me to remember to walk and move around throughout the day. Overall a good purchase and have been pleased so far.

    Moderate improvement over 1st gen

A little background: This is my third (yes, third) Apple Watch. The 1st gen is slow enough that it gets frustrating to do anything other than check the time or glance at a notification. I sold my first one out of frustration, but found myself missing it more than I thought I would. I had gotten so used to being able to read text messages and other notifications on my wrist, (saving me from the distraction of pulling the phone out all the time), that I bought another one when I found a really good deal. When this 2nd gen one was announced, I wasn't planning to upgrade, but Apple wore me down and the draw of the built-in GPS and fact that it is fully waterproof eventually drew me in. Plus, I really like the style of this Nike band. Comparing to 1st gen: This 2nd gen is definitely faster, and pretty seamless for the basic functions that I use all the time. Initially when I tested some different apps that I rarely use, I noticed there still times that I wonder if it's even doing anything when something is supposed to be loading. But that is mostly with third-party apps, which I don't have a lot of. I mostly use my watch for fitness tracking and notifications and it does a great job with that. The display is definitely brighter, so its a lot more readable outdoors. I've had no problems with showering with it on, and the band is great for that - it seems to dry quickly. Other than that, it is very similar to the first gen, just improved in most ways. Nike+ model: I think the Nike+ version is the same as other gen 2s in every way except for the band (which I love), some exclusive Nike watch faces, and the Nike+ running app pre-installed. Oh and the box it comes in is black and has the Nike logo on it. Recommendation: My recommendation is if you just want a smart watch for fitness tracking and quick notifications or sending text messages and you're an iPhone user, this is probably the best option out there. If you go into it thinking it will be fun new thing to play with, or there will be a bunch of third party apps that really make your life better, you might be a little disappointed. If you are upgrading from a 1st gen Apple Watch, I don't think you'll be disappointed, because you already know what to expect. But if cash is tight, maybe wait until late 2017 and see what they do next.

I held out on purchasing the original Apple watch due to lack of being water proof.. The second reason was I am tough on watches and needed to have Sapphire screen before making the leap. Both those issues were resolved with the Apple Watch 2 and it has been a fantastic accessory to all areas of my life from my health goals to being more flexible with my business connections. . In business I rely heavily on txt and fb messenger and being able to check my wrist to see if it is urgent or not has saved me time having to check messages on my phone.. I have also been extremely impressed of the accuracy of tracking my indoor runs, outdoor runs and exercise in general.. The only thing I have as a downside is once you start sweating it can struggle keeping your heartbeat accurately... This may be typical of other heart rate monitors but this is something to be aware of.. In total, I highly recommend it and the integration between it and the iPhone and Mac (automatically unlocks the computer) has been fantastic.
