On mobile, so reviewing will be brief. This watch is quite good, interfacing with the phone was trivial, updated seamlessly from Apple. Definitely improves my reactions to notifications, namely in that with a quick flip of my wrist I know what it is, and whether any action is required now, or if it can wait. Actually helps remove distractions in a way. No stopping to pull out the phone to check for a real message or spam. Battery life for me is quite good, Apples quoted 18hours seems based off highly active people using gps and mobile playlists and such. For my use of mail and text notifications, the occasional brief call, music control back to my iphone playlists, and activity monitoring, I get 2-3 days battery life. Additional functionality like quick review of bank balances and weather an added bonus, plus ApplePay integration. Quite a nice device, a good accessory for iPhone uses on the move frequently that can't be grabbing at their phones all the time to check things.

    Apple Finally Gets it Right

The 2nd generation Apple Watch is everything the 1st generation should have been - Apple finally got it right! Here's why: 1. Battery life - I have worn the 2nd generation Apple Watch for several days at a time without needing to recharge. The 1st generation Apple Watch needed to be charged every night. 2. Rugged design - the 1st generation Watch was not dust or water resistant. The second generation is, which makes it much easier to wear while working out, allowing you to take advantage of the Nike software and health tracking benefits of the Watch. 3. Price - the price is much more reasonable, in part because there are fewer bands to choose from, which was the majority of the price difference between models of the 1st generation watch. Overall, I highly recommend the 2nd generation Apple Watch. The health tracking abilities are great as is the Nike software, and you still have all the benefits of the Apple Watch - reading and responding to texts, getting reminders, making calls, etc.

I was a little apprehensive at the point of having an Apple Watch and its effectiveness; I can definitely say this is a great supplementary tool. It is great that the watch uses GPS and doesn't require you to have your phone with you all the time. There are a lot of apps available that increase the ease of using your iPhone in conjunction with the Apple Watch. Setup was quick and easy. Aesthetically, the watch pops and makes for a great timepiece. I can't say it is too loud or obnoxious of a color choice. Also, the phone feature is one that I did not think I would enjoy--or even use. I often switch between the watch and my iPhone. The volume is loud and I can leave my watch by my side as I talk. I can't say I struggled with having to hold my wrist to my mouth. Texting on the phone can take some getting used to but Siri is definitely keeping up with my conversation style and translating appropriately. Writing messages with my finger is also pretty simple. Overall, this was a great buy!

This is a great watch. So much to say, where to start... It has a built in gps, so I typically keep the Bluetooth turned off on my phone (saves battery). You don't need to carry your phone with you when you go for a run (although I typically do for music). This tracks your heart rate throughout most of the day and especially during exercise to estimate caloric burn. It tracks your movement and helps keep you from being lazy and gets you up and moving. So many apps are compatible. Also, it's nice to answer the phone or a text/FB message/ other messages on your watch with some simple quick options. The watch is pretty lightweight and fairly durable. I have banged mine around and there are no marks on it. Although, from previous experience, I would definitely get a screen guard (Zagg or whatever) to protect the screen. They are very tough, but I have also seen one shatter. I would definitely recommend this watch if you have an iPhone and are searching for a fitness watch.

I️ never wore a watch before buying the Apple Watch. Since purchasing the watch I never forget to put it on. Not only does it tell you the time, but also the weather and any updates from your phone. As a teacher with 2 small children I’m never worried about where my phone is because I️ can ping it. They need to add a feature like that on my keys! Overall the functionality of the apps is very conducive and convenient.

This Watch is great! It has tons of features I didn't think I would use but the longer I have the Watch the more I use it. The ease of use and setup is great. No longer having to pull my phone to see my notifications is nice because if it's not important I don't have to respond.

I have been thinking of buying the Apple Watch right from Series 1 has been released. But didn't buy as its price was high. Somehow bought it now from Best buy as I got a gift card for half of its price. I got the 42mm Nike black - It looks great and water proof too. I have been using it for the past 4 months and it got hit couple of times with tables and chairs but did not get scratches. This is even good.

This is an accessory but it is a must for iPhone users! GPS, water resistant and sync perfectly with your iPhone. Battery life is so much better than the first generation. If looking for an upgrade do it! Mac users, 2013 models and up can unlock you computer with the watch paired!

I have had the first Apple watch for a couple of years. Wanted the Series 2 for the built in GPS, the water proof feature, and the improved battery. The battery improvement alone has been worth the purchase. And the rest is just as expected. A bonus was the Nike band!

I had always been skeptical of Apple products in the past, but after getting into the game with the iPhone 6+ I have just been amazed at how easy these products are to navigate and how they talk to each other. The Apple Watch is a great addition and with the waterproofing it is also a great benefit so you can swim and have all sorts of different activities with the watch and it will keep on ticking.

i held off on buying an Apple Watch because reviews for the Series 1 were so-so. I did try several other "smart" watches by Android, Fitbit, and Garmin, but it's the Apple's ecosystem that won my heart on this one. I found the Apple Watch to be the least annoying for notifications. Of course, you'll need an iPhone for this watch to work. The apps are a hit or miss, as you can tell which companies really put any effort into making the apps, but not all apps on your phone will have an Apple Watch app. You don't need many though. As for fitness, it's great that you can use it without your phone - take it on a run without the phone, still track your GPS, then sync later. Battery life is good, I'd say you'll need to charge it every 2-3 days, depending on how often you use the GPS fitness feature. The specific differences for Nike+ is only the embedded Nike watch face and the band, which is super comfortable and great that it's vented.

I detested the Apple Watch 1's shape so I went with the Moto 360 to pair with my iPhone 6 Plus. That watch looked amazing, but that's all it was. I finally caved in and purchased the Series 2 after hearing some of my friends rave about their first gen watch despite having to charge it every night. The Apple Watch Series 2 has really swayed my opinion. After wearing it and buying a Milanese loop for casual and dress wear, I must say that the design has really grown on me. The battery last about 2 days of 8-12 hour use per day with notifications going off several times per hour. I really enjoy some of the Watch faces although I wish there were more. And finally... there's the Pokémon Go app! Pretty sure 90% of people have stopped playing but it has been a guilty pleasure of mine to slowly catch up to everyone that had millions of hours to catch all their Pokémon. Now with the watch it has been even more enjoyable.

So I had the original Apple Watch and then sold it, and replaced it with a FitBit Charge 2. At the time this was based souly on battery life and functionality. Fast forward to today, and I finally decided to give the Apple Watch series 2 a shot; and boy am I'm happy I did. The battery performs much better than it's prediscesor, and now I can actually go for a run, without my phone as well as swim with my watch (which I'm still having a hard time wrapping my head around). The design is pretty much the same of the older Apple Watch designs, however I do enjoy the Nike+ sports band. The screen brightness is an improvement from older generations, and is much easier to read on sunny days, compared to the original. Other subtle improvements like the Breathe app, and Nike+ specific watch faces, are a nice addition. All in all I'm very happy with the Nike+ edition of the Apple Watch series 2.

I purchased this at bestbuy on the release date so I got lucky. I love the way Apple let Nike customize this watch for runners. The band is breathable and I extra watch faces are welcomed. I highly recommend this watch for people who plan on using it for running.

The most refined watch available... I came from the band 2 which was a phenomenal watch for fitness but had terrible GPS support. Apple has built a watch that is looks much nicer, but also has all of the functionality that I want in a watch. I have used it for running and exercising. GPS is accurate and battery life is much better than most smart watches. Highly recommend.

To help shed some light on my demographic, I'm a 26 years old male who: owns an iMac and a PC laptop, has an iPhone 6s, has a regular 9-5 job, and is an occasional swimmer and runner. I've been falling out of my recent swim and running routine and I needed something to get me back on track. I've been utilizing Apple's Healthkit more and more as I'm enjoying seeing how far I've walked, etc. I purchased the watch to add a few more stats to my work out, such as run time, heart beat, etc. As far as I'm concerned, this meets and exceeds all my expectations. I've already taken the watch for a swim and it's tracked my laps, times, heart rate, and yards. It can also tell you what your dominate stroke is, but because I'm on a master's team and swim all strokes, it tells me my dominate stroke is "mixed." It seems to predict my laps fairly accurately. I have no problem swimming with my watch, but I won't take it in the shower out of fear the soap losens the water seals. I haven't taken the device on a run yet, but having taken it on a walk it tells me what my pace, distance, and heart rate are. I hear that serious runners prefer garmin products as they're more accurate. Since I'm not a hard core runner, I haven't noticed any lack of features. I'm sure runners might care about some other tracking metrics that I'm just not ready to track yet. It's integration with the phone is nice, although not needed for your work outs (if your watch isn't tethered to your phone you'll still be able to track distance, heart rate, etc., but you won't be able to receive text messages, notification alerts, etc.). While driving the watch vibrates to tell me when I need to make a turn. It also gives me random reminders to take a moment to breath and relax. I've been enjoying the features of this watch quite a bit. I'm not bias to Apple, but from the get go I knew I wanted the Apple Watch. I'm sure there are better devices out there for serious athletes, but that wasn't of concern. I have an interest in tracking more aspects of my life through healthkit and this is a terrific device to help keep me on track.

I had been reluctant about purchasing an apple watch for years now. With the addition of the built in GPS and water proofing I decided to give it a try. I have been happy with my purchase so far. The battery life has been well above what I expected and can usually go 2 days without having to charge it (and that's with activity tracking for 45-50 mins/day). This watch does not continuously track your heart rate or monitor your sleep like Fitbit products do but the trade off for a more integrated experience is well worth it. I have had multiple Fitibit products in the pasts and all have only lasted around a year before they just wore out. That's part of the reason I invested in an apple watch. Software updates and history of making solid products steered me in this direction. If you work out and do biking, swimming, running this watch is for you!
