Good for some purposes

Some functions work very well while others, frankly, suck. I bought it for the purpose of having a health emergency alert button on my wrist. As far as I know that works OK. Other functions such as listening to podcasts and music don't work very well at all. I haven't looked at many of the APPs, so I can't comment on them. For the most part, the watch works best when a paired iPhone is nearby. Eventually, as the technology advances, perhaps the Apple Watch will work entirely by itself. One shortcoming is that the battery runs down very quickly, and the watch has to be recharged every day.
