Customers express satisfaction with the Apple Watch Series 2's ease of use, water resistance, and activity tracking capabilities. Many appreciate its features and the overall design, particularly the rose gold color and size. However, some customers note that the price point is high and that the watch band may be prone to staining. Was a gift for my girlfriend. I initially bought her the fitbit alta hr but when compared to the Apple Watch, it was worth the money to upgrade. The Apple watch does everything the fitbit does except track your sleep cycle. The apple watch is sleek and easy to navigate plus it's just awesome.

My plan was to buy a FitBit to track my running, but since the newest Apple Watch included the GPS (without needing your phone to be with you on a run) and was water proof, I decided to buy it. I have not been disappointed. It is all SOOOO easy to use. The ap tracks my runs, distance, speed, heart rate, etc. I love the regular features as well. Its even less distracting in a meeting to glance down at your watch when it vibrates on your arm. The battery lasts me 2 days, but I charge it each night anyway. The band is extremely comfortable. I can't wait to get more colors. I can 't imagine anyone begin disappointed with this watch.

    Better than Series 1

I decided to sell my series 1 to get the Series 2 before the 2 disappeared completely after the 3 came out. I saw little advantage of the 3 since I have no need for cellular on my watch and I didn't want to spend that much. overall the 1 was good enough, my wife won it on a radio contest - nice thing is it came with the milano loop band that I really like; but I felt the added water resistance of the 2 was worth it just to be on the safe side since at times it gets splashed and at times, I'd like to go to the pool and not worry about taking off my watch and getting it stolen. I tried to get a referb 2 on the apple site but they were not showing any of the sport series and I see no value in spending so much more for steel - aluminum serves my needs just fine - steel, ceramic or any elevated metal is simply to show off - no better functionality and I'm more about function than looks. besides I like the space gray. So what I found more impressive is battery life - I get way better battery life on the 2 than I did on the 1. Best part is I sold the 1 on ebay for over half the cost of this one so my out of pocket cost was just over $100. Otherwise it seems about the same as the one - takes a long time to boot up or install an upgrade. The fitness app I use runs about the same as it did on the 1, maybe a little quicker to start up. The heart rates seems about the same - out of whack at times but overall close enough for my needs - I guess the gps is a nice feature for when I go out on a walk or bike ride. In general, if you are already an iphone user and you want some added exercise tracking or other functionality like messaging or notifications or whatever, then the watch is a nice complement - unless you need super accurate exercise tracking - although you can improve it with a bluetooth heart rate sensor. anyway, for what I paid, I love the thing. I might not have spent that much if my wife had not won it to get me started. Full price for a new model is still a bit steep, at least for me.

    My Apple Watch Series2

I never thought I would buy an Apple watch, but with my local Best Buy selling it, I figured what would I lose.. if I don't like it, I can return it. I ordered on line from Best Buy & was informed it would be 2 weeks before it shipped to me. Couple of days later, I was next door to Best Buy & decided to phone Best Buy & see if they had any in store. The lady informed me there was 1 RoseGold in stock. I told her I had 1 on order & had to wait 2 wks to get it. She told me she could cancel the on line order & sell me the 1 in the store. I was at the store by the time I hung up. I was so happy to get it right away & appreciated the assistance of the BB employee. Now, the watch... I LOVE it!! Love that I can do things on my wrist instead of needing to pull out my phone. I don't always have my phone on me & my watch is. Great for tracking my exercise, step, sleep. Use for watching storms\weather, calendar appts, alarms, reminders, even answer & make phone calls, messages. Better than a Dick Tracy wrist watch lol I've been buy different colored bands, clear & colored bumpers, etc for it-lots of 3rd party stuff for it. Battery last me a full 24 hrs & some days a bit more. I've not had any problems viewing the display, haven't gone swimming in it but wore in shower, & used the eject water feature just fine. I'm glad I did buy this watch. I'd read reviews last yr that the 1st watch wasn't impressive, & this years reviews said this series2 watch was what the 1st 1 should have been. I would recommend getting a screen cover for it right away as day 2, even after being careful, I scratched the top corner. Next day back to BB to buy a screen protector & bumper guard to protect the edges.

Got this for a present for my wife to help with fitness tracking. She was a bit skeptical in the beginning but has grown to love it over the past month. What she likes is it's design, small foot print on her wrist, ability to go running without a iphone, ability to see activity progress through out the day, see messages and email at a glance. It's not life changing but does help do several things above that the iphone can't because of it's relative size.

I started my smartphone life as an avid Android user. I had several different phones from 2010 to 2016, and tried both Motorola and LG Android smart watches as well. While those were great, since switching to an iPhone, and now an Apple Watch, I'd be lying if I said I could easily switch back. Setup of this device is seamless, and while the learning curve takes a little instruction, it's easy once you get used to it. Battery life is great, and its notifications are timely & helpful. It can be a bit pricey, but if you can shell out the bucks, I think you'll find yourself feeling lost without it after wearing it for a few days straight.

Let me start with the only negatives: 1- wish the battery life lasted longer. 2- I miss my WhatsApp. 3- Apple, make your own sleep app!! Now, where do I start with the cons: LOVE that I can find my phone in seconds. My kids run off with my iPhone all the one. All I have to do is press one button and I know where my ph is. Also, love the constant notifications. Like that I can shower and go to the pool with it. I use the timer and alarms like 20’timea a day. Very useful. If I forget my phone at hm I can still make calls. Which is huge. In case of an emergency, I’m not worried. Totally recommend it!

My wife was debating on getting an apple watch. For myself I love apple product and had the first apple watch for naturally I went for the series 2 because of it is waterproof capabilities. We walked into a Best Buy and looked at the watches, and I just went for it. Bought her one and luckily the watch was on sale which was great on my wallet. She loves how she can go swimming and tracking her steps and calories. Our baby loves the bright colors of the watch and it's really holding up good since our baby has put it in his mouth numerous of time. You will be happy with this purchase.

I bought this apple watch to upgrade from the Series 7000. I do love the gold color, but I returned it and got the new Series 3 (GPS). In my opinion, there is no comparison. I LOVE the Series 3 ! The price difference just wasn't big enough to justify keeping the older model, plus I had a lot of reward certificates.

I'm so happy I purchased the Apple Watch 2. I've had the 1st series since they first came out and my biggest worry was it getting wet! Well, not anymore. I've already had it on while swimming, I've showered with it and had absolutely ZERO issues with it! The fact that it now has a GPS feature was also a great selling point for me. I hated having to walk my neighborhood while holding my phone so I was able to track my walking path. Now, I'm able to just leave the house with my bluetooth headphones for music and my watch. It's awesome!

I was wanting something that I could simply monitor my work outs, heart rate, steps and to use simply as a watch. I opted for the GPS tracker so that I could monitor and upload my runs. I have had the watch for 2 months now and love it. It is a good reminder to keep up my activity and easy access to my phone when it is put up in my purse. Very happy with this purchase.

I never thought I would be the person that wanted an Apple Watch, but I absolutely love it. As a medical student though, it has proven to be very helpful. I purchased it since I am diabetic and my Dexcom readings can be viewed right off the main screen, which is very handy working in the hospital. I don't necessarily want to take out my phone and be disrespectful, but a quick glance at my watch is perfect. Plus, my wrist vibrating when my blood sugars are out of whack. I answer all of my phone calls now since my wrist vibrates. I love how easy it makes phone calls while driving (even though I probably shouldn't do that.) It constantly is reminding me to stand up and move if I stay still for too long which I appreciate during Netflix binges or long study hours.

Love this product. It syncs (mostly) effortlessly with my iPhone 7, plus keeps track of my activity, etc. While the Series 3 lets you make calls without a phone, most of us carry our phone everywhere, anyway. And I like being able to silence my phone while still getting notifications discreetly through the watch’s haptic alerts.

i had a series 1 rose gold watch. it ran great. i purchased the series 2 only because i wanted the GPS and waterproof features. thought about getting the series 3 but, didn't see much difference from series 2. also, series 3 was a little more expensive. the watch is so a great additive when you have already have an apple phone.

My review is late to the party because Apple has made series 3 already... BUT, this is the best purchase I’ve ever made. My music and apps are synced to my watch, it’s waterproof (been swimming with it multiple times), it tracks my workouts better than Fitbit, it tells me everything from the weather to when my daily appts are, or if my Amazon package has been delivered. This watch has literally become the thing I can’t live without on a daily basis. Looks sleek (I’m a fan of the regular gold, not rose gold), goes with everything and isn’t a fitness tracker eyesore. Sport band is sweat/water resistant. It needs to charge every other day if anyone is wondering. Don’t hesitate to buy.

I found this watch to be a great companion to the Apple iPhone 8. It was easy to set up--i found some good sites on the internet that made it a breeze. It is easy to read, so cool with mickey talking to you. You can customize your watch face with your own photo. Used it in the Pool and works like a charm. One time i forgot to set it to water and believe it or not it changed by itself. You can answer calls on it but do not try to talk on for any period of time switch to phone, it will cut off. Works about one day on a charge. I would recommend this to others.

I was ready for a smaller size FitBit Charge and thought I would check out the Apple Watch. I have really enjoyed this watch and it's far more accurate than my FitBit ever was. The FitBit would count steps when I was blow drying my hair, but then wouldn't count half of my steps when out for my daily run. There is so much customization that it does take some time to get it set up just as you like it. It was very easy to set up, but updates do take some time to do. The watch is a lot lighter than I expected and it's very comfortable to wear. I recently wore it on a trip to Disney and even with the heat, I had no issues between my skin and the band. Also, it is water proof, but they do recommend not subjecting it to shampoos and soaps so take it off before a shower. There is a water mode for when you go swimming. I do love this watch and it's really helped take my workouts to the next level. You can link up with other Apple Watch wearers and cheer each other on when accomplish goals or complete exercises. Best product I've purchased in a long time!
