Great watch until the screen went black after a couple years. Repair cost is half the price of the watch. Apple care ran out.

Died in 9 Days! Best Buy wouldn't take it back

My Apple Watch 2 had complete power failure on day 9 of ownership. It was so broken I couldn't unlink my apple account so Best Buy wouldn't take it back, even though Apple said it was unlinked from my account. By the time Apple fixed it, my window for return to Best Buy was up. Wouldn't buy it again. Very unhappy with Best Buy's return policy.

Good smart watch not fitness Band

To my understanding it was suppose to be much more fitness based but you just download other apps which are free on the iPhone. It is okay compared to other fitness bands but smart watch wise is very good. I ended up selling and bought a Fitbit since I wanted more fitness rather than just a smart watch. If looking for more fitness features and all day heart rate do more research. Overall good for notifications but okay for fitness needs more development

The built-in GPS does not work as expected

This was a gift for my bday, and since the returned policy from Best Buy it's only 15 days, I contacted Apple directly. I've made all the test that they asked me to, and told that I needed to returned the watch to a authorized apple service center, test it. So they came to the conclusion that the watch has no issues... What's wrong with the watch?, well I used the Nike app to run, and the first 3 minutes would not record any distance, I used at the same time a Garmin Forerunner 220, and at one point the two watchs were registering the same distance, but at the end of my run, the apple watch had 500 meters more than the 220. Also tested the Apple activity app, or whatever it's called, and the same issue, it won't recorded any distance until past the minute 2, but every time I tested against the 220 it was offset by 500 meters less than the Garmin...
