I purchased this for my dad's 55th birthday. This is a nice watch and has lot of features specially if you are fitness freak. This has lot of other features as well where you can set reminders and all other things. The only con i would say is that it doesn't work well without the iPhone. But still a quality apple product.

I am a total Apple product person. I've read multiple reviews since the first series Apple Watch came out. I have been pleased and happy that I waited. It took a little self educating to get the most out of all its possible functions. I would recommend this product to anyone who is all about Apple products. It far exceeds the Fitbit.

I damaged my series 1 Apple Watch and was desperate to get a new one. The navy and gold was the only 42mm available at the Best Buy I stop at. Turned out to be a great color combo. Can't believe how many outfits I had to match! This Apple Watch version has a great battery lfe.. Gold also looks great with a black, pink or white band.

I've always been a Samsung user. Thought I'd never get another Apple product but love the looks and ease of this Apple Watch Series 2. This is actually my second Apple Watch Series 2 purchased. This one I bought for my husband as he felll in love with the one I bought for myself and had to have one himself. The battery lasts forever!

Let me start by saying this and save you some time/reading. I had a Garmin Fenix 2 going into this purchase, and I went back to a new Garmin in the end. Honestly, the Apple Watch felt cheap on my wrist, so I ordered a really nice full case/band for it by Catalyst (great case, well worth the $60 if you love your Apple Watch S2). I was hoping by installing the case, it wouldn't feel so cheap, I was wrong. All it did was make it look more like one of my old Casio G-Shocks or Pathfinders, and increase it's water resistance to 330ft instead of 150ft. H'okay, so, I'm an active/outdoorsy person, so the touchscreen was not a fan of my callused fingers, which got annoying. The Bluetooth was horrible on the watch, it took two days of trying to sync up my JBL Reflect BT earbuds before it finally accepted them and synced up. When it finally did, I synced up a playlist on to the watch from my phone so I could ditch the phone inside while I mowed the yard. Well, it got really annoying being told that my phone was out of range every so often and it didn't have the info I was looking for (weather info). And what got even MORE annoying was the fact that my earbuds kept losing connection to the dang watch that was less that 3' away on my wrist broadcasting the signal for the music. I even put the watch on the same side as the transmitter/receiver as my earbuds at one point, and it still did it. So, for S&G's afterwards I installed an app that alerts you when your phone is out of range (i.e. Someone is stealing your phone or watch, it alerts both devices). And I could put my phone in my right pocket, with my watch on my left wrist while sitting, and it would say it had a weak bluetooth connection. If I put my arm just outside the window while driving with my phone in a custom cradle on my dash, it would blare through my speakers that my phone was out of range. Absolutely ridiculous. I can play music off my phone using the earbuds, leave the phone in the living room, and go into my office 2 rooms away and not lose connection. But the watch, not so much. Now, don't get me wrong, my wife "likes" her Apple Watch...likes it. She still loves her first gen Garmin VivoActive overall, especially for its training capabilities. The Apple Watch does NOT do interval training, and thats a major ding for some people. What app developers there are that have attempted to make an interval training app (even Asics free iOS app that blatantly says it does interval training), they generally want you to pay for them in some way, shape, or form. Well my wife eventually did pay for one of them, and all it did was use the phones countdown timer. The Garmin has full interval capabilities, and GPS, and it's waterproof, aaand its touchscreen for a fraction of the cost. One other thing I didn't like about it was the lack of the watches independence when it didn't have the phone to piggyback off of. I don't want a device that needs to leach off another device for its information. To me, all the Apple Watch seems like is an old Dick Tracy-esque type watch. Like the old toy watch from the late 80's - early 90's that would talk to you when you pressed the side button. In my opinion, if you're a camping/outdoor type person, this is probably not the watch for you. I own several Apple products (the watch made it 6), and this is the first flop I've purchased by Apple. I was hoping I'd like it, I was even looking to pick up a couple of CMRA bands for my wife and I so we could video chat when she was away for races. But, thats not going to happen now. Bottomline, I returned my Apple Watch less than two weeks after receiving it from my Best Buy online order, and exchanged it in store (Citrus Park, FL) for a Garmin Fenix 3 HR. And honestly, I couldn't be more pleased. The Apple Watch is definitely a smart watch, no denying that. And its okay in fitness tracking. But as far as off the grid navigating, it is horrible. Maybe I was too convinced that Apple would have an app for everything that I could want...Oh they do, for the phone or iPad. It all just depends if the developers have done the formatting for the WatchOS or not. And even then, some of the companies that have made a navigational watch app, you'll still need the phone for it to function properly and give you the information you're wanting. After owning one and messing around with it everyday, to me it just seems like the watch acts as a flashy touchscreen wrist based remote for those too lazy to pull their phones out of their pockets/purses/backpacks/fanny packs/belt holsters to do what they need to do.
