It can count calories and steps, as well as detect one's heart rate. This Apple Watch has been a great assistant in helping me to lose weight; it is an excellent health and activity monitor. To use some of the installed apps where communication is involved, such as Phone and Messages, you have to be within range of your linked smart device (iPhone 7,e.g.).

I love this Apple Watch! The display is really bright and I love that I don't have to charge it often. The space black is really glossy and I have received numerous compliments while wearing this watch. I've had the sports edition Apple Watch and I feel there's no comparison between the two. Would highly recommend if you're looking into buying an Apple Watch.

I’ve had my original Apple Watch since the day of release. This new series 2 is light years ahead of it. Definitely recommend this watch

Had the first version and wanted to give it to my girlfriend so I bought this one for the waterproof ability. I dislike the Ion glass because it scratches easily. Working outside on vehicles I was constantly taking it off so I wouldn't scratch the screen. The sapphire glass is a way better option to go with if you're not sitting in an office all day.

Better speed, decent battery life. Water proof and GPS good addons

I didn't realize how much I would really enjoy having one of these devices. It frees up your hands a lot instead of holding the iPhone. One feature that is really nice is on the Maps app, it will alert you with a vibrate right before each turn when using turn-by-turn directions. I am still learning a lot about the watch but, so far I have no regrets.

I wear my series 2 watch everyday, doesn’t matter the occasion. You can dress it up or down by alternating band styles and colors.

I would highly recommend this device. The watch works seamlessly and is comfortable to wear. I work in a factory so it has taken some abuse and the screen has yet to get scratched from the sapphire glass. The water prod was has been good to me as well. The only hung I would change is the color of the band because the white gets dirty looking easy.

I think this was a great purchase because it had more features that the 1st Apple Watch but not as expensive as the 3rd edition.

Really enjoy the convenience of having notifications on my wrist and being able to answer calls directly on watch. Bought the stainless space black and it is a beautiful piece of wearable technology. Still waiting for a "knock me over" app, but it is still a great tool if you dont want to pull out your iphone at every little notification .

For my husband, he was worried about the size of the face, he likes big watches, but this looks good and works wonderful.

I love my Apple Watch! It doesn't replace a smart phone and isn't supposed to but it's a great supplemental device. Have a second screen to see what notifications are coming in so you don't have to pull out your phone as much. Track my fitness and general movement, it's great for Apple pay and a few other commonly repeated tasks.

This is my second smart watch with my first being a Samsung Gear Fit. There is absolute no comparison between the two with the Apple Watch offering so much more functionality. I'm still learning all the ins and outs but so far I'm impressed and would recommend this watch to anyone who needs a versatile comfortable tool on their wrist.

This is my second Apple watch. Great upgrade. Water proof is ok, I dont really use that feature but its good to know its there. Speed update is one of the best new updates. The best thing so far is the increased battery life. First Apple Watch would be from 50 to 65% at the end of the day. The Series 2 is around 85%. Big Plus!

I have a tendency to be on my phone more often than I should. This watch helps me to just leave my phone plugged in in the kitchen and go about my day without having to have my phone on me. It keeps me connected without the temptation to constantly have my face buried in my phone. I like all the features and it works great.
