I picked this up because it was last years model and on a discount. Although it doesn't have all the functions as the new watch, I felt that it suits my needs. I wouldn't want to pay an extra $100 or more for the new watch. If you can find the old one on a discount then pick it up.

This was actually a gift but I have one myself that is exactly the same and I love it, I use it all day everyday and I'm usually lost if I don't have it on, literally.

This watch is the best. I can use it during meetings or class to return text messages or email without disturbing those around me. I absolutely love my Apple Watch
