Love it for everyday and work-related, not fitness

I love the apple watch; especially in a professional environment, text, email, calendaring, and notifications. The fitness-related stuff is okay, but fitbit is probably better for a layman, and there are also other options for high-performance fitness.

the first thing I looked at was how well the watch integrated with my other Apple devices. That was seamless. The new jargon does not seem to be intuitive, but it's been 35 years since I learned what a mouse was. I like the activity monitor. I had hoped to use this with my Line 6 guitar pedals, but right now it only works with the AmpliFi and not the FireHawk.

    Best Gift Ever!

I bought this as a gift for my husband's birthday. He loves it! He linked it to his phone and makes it easy to track his steps and other activities. He doesn't have to walk around with his phone in his hand, he can download apps specific for the watch to get more use out of it. He has had it for a month and no complaints yet. He has even purchased different color cases and different types of bands for different occasions. One of the best investments so far and he really loves his gift. I would definitely recommend purchasing this watch it is very versatile and fun.

I love my Apple Watch - seems like every day I learn/use a new features. Having said that, it is definitely a v1 product and has SO MUCH potential! I can't wait to see it all unfold. It is probably the best fit bit/ fitness monitor on the market today!

My Apple Watch is so cool! The people at Best Buy were very educated on it as well, and answered all of the questions properly that I had asked them. They were very friendly and helped me with all of my accessory purchases as well. Way to go Best Buy!!!

Adds new features to having an iphone. Makes using siri fun! Lacks in memory but worth it. Overall happy with this purchase. I would recommend this product to all those with an iphone. Fun to use and makes certain apps more convenient.

This watch had good utility value but not the best watch for long distance runners. The battery life leaves a lot to be desired. Struggles to maintain charge for 3-4 hrs in fitness tracking mode. Switching to Garmin Vivoactive.

Battery Life: The watch more than lasts through the day so it is perfect. I am sure it will last longer if you put it in power save mode, or just use it less frequently than I do. Basically, you will be charging it as often as you charge your iPhone. Resolution: Yes, if you use a magnifying glass you can see some pixels. This is not meant for watching movies or looking at high-end photography, don’t expect it to have your iPhone’s resolution. Speed: This is mixed. For the basic things the watch promises to do, such as receiving and sending small messages, getting general notifications, and being an activity tracker, it is great. Its not blazingly fast, but nothing that is going to keep you tapping your foot impatiently… that is, until you try to do other things. Using other apps like CNN or Instagram makes the watch get laggy. Also, it wont hear your, “Hey, Siri,” real well, but you can just push the crown and it will work. Customization: While it is customizable, it is still kind of limited. I am not complaining, but it is one of those big issues. Personally, it does enough for me. Size: A lot of people have complained it is bulky. I definitely disagree. I find this to be the best watch I have ever owned for that reason. It is handsome, sleek, and lightweight. Compared to a regular watch, I can forget it’s even on my wrist (especially with the nylon strap). Price: This is where I lucked out. Having a $70 gift card and getting the watch on sale and open box I got mine for less than $200, and while it is still pricey, it is the most I would have spent on the device. As much as I do love having the watch, really, it is over-priced. After insurance and a screen protector and taxes, for the 42mm you’re realistically getting a watch that is $400 at a minimum. The Pros: The watch does help in many ways, and is an excellent activity tracker/motivator. It helps when you can’t always get to your phone and it is lightweight. The Cons: it costs too much. It can be a little slow, and (something I didn’t mention before) the speaker can be improved when answering phone calls. Overall: While it truly is amazing to have, all it is at the end of the day is a second notification screen and fitness tracker. I have a job where the watch helps as I am often unable to take out my phone. Really, unless you have a similar job setting, you should save your money (or wait until you can get a great deal like I did).

Your iPhone and Apple Watch are a perfect match to do things without being attached to each other. I tell my watch reminders, alarms, shedules, etc. There is a full complement of apps. also. The Apple Watch is the best extension to the IPhone there is.

The watch is so much more than a watch. It is makes the iPhone so much more than it is with out the watch. The watch puts the phone on your wrist. I hardly used the iPhone until I got the watch and now I am because of the watch using it more and more.

It's good so far. Just waiting to get more use out of it to see if it's really worth the money. Definitely get it when it's on sale. Everything syncing from iPhone to the watch is helpful when you need to be hands free. Option to talk to someone is ok if you don't mind having it on speaker where anyone near you can hear your conversation. Overall pretty good.

I've had the watch now for 2 weeks: It is a toy first. But second, it is a nice item to have. I don't feel like I NEED to pull my phone out, out of habit...I can keep an eye on email, twitter, etc... But, I've noticed the notification sounds don't always sound... haptic feedback is great, but I feel like there still needs to be some perfection to take place.

It's very useful. But it's not that critical. In fact, I'm not wearing it right now. I use it almost everyday. But I can get by without it. I use the navigation, the quick text, and the phone...oh and the watch apps. But that's it. I'm glad I used my reward points not cash to buy it.
