I use this primary as a higher end fit-bit. tracks my activities nicely and bonus apple stuff thrown in there. Only down side is how often it needs to be charged, but it does charge quick.

Yep, this is expensive and yes, you don't need it. BUT it's awesome, the more you wear it the more you'll realize it makes your day to day tasks that much easier. It syncs my calendar, most apps that I use regularly, tracks fitness and makes it so I don't have to take my phone out of my pocket or carry around the home/office. I get my alerts and dismiss what isn't important and answer things I need to. I also really like the map feature and how it taps your wrist several times when a turn is coming up. Lastly, it's REALLY comfortable. I wear a watch normally and usually mess around with it's position during the day but I don't need to with this watch, super comfy.

Purchased as a Xmas present for $100 off retail - can't beat that! Thank you BestBuy! Love the watch. Absolutely Love it! Can't wait until the Apple Watch 2, but I will probably stick with this one for a couple years until the Apple Watch 3 is released. People that complain that they don't NEED the watch (why have it), well I don't NEED a house phone, I don't NEED to eat steak, and I don't NEED to drive a car that gets 12 MPG. But I choose what I want. And I Choose to want an Apple Watch and love every second of it (pun intended).

I really like my Apple watch. Since buying I have worn it everyday. The band is very form fitting and easy to use. The extras the watch offers of text and e-mail screening plus gps directions and alerts are great.

Light weight and easy to use just like any Apple product. Main purpose for use is exercise. Like the fact I can sync up to 2GB of music and not carry my phone around at the gym. Keeps tract of your activate throughout the day. Dictation seems to be on point so far (which allows you to be hands-free) and la bit less attached to your cell phone. I also like the fact I can easily reply from my wrist without the need of reaching for my phone as much. I have my work email linked to my phone so I'm able to see rather quickly my emails. I'm sure all the other apps are as great as well but those are the main features I've used so far on a day to day bases.

Its a fantastic watch. Although i am not crazy about the sport wrist band its not BAD either. I like that it will track my activity as well as send notifications to my wrist. If your in a place where you cannot have your phone out a quick flip of the wrist will show you that text that just came in, that call you missed. Battery life is decent, i use min daily and i can get through the day with regular use on an over night charge.

I got an Apple Watch as a graduation present from my wife. I have the 42mm sport edition and I am completely satisfied with it. The watch it very intuitive and easy to use. I really liked being able to customize what is on the watch face, it's color and it's layout. The ability to quickly and discreetly answer texts has been more useful than I anticipated. I also really like tracking my workouts with my Apple Watch. The tutorial videos provided on the phone are all you need to get up and running with your new watch and you can keep it as simple or complex as you want. If you can grab one when they go on sale they are a good value.

Bought this for myself and decided it was too big. Exchanged for the 38 and absolutely love it. Had a Pebble first and hated it. This hands down does everything I want it to do.

    42mm or 38mm...?

I've been watching the apple watches since they were first debuted. I finally jumped on the opportunity when Best Buy had a good sale going on. I got this 42mm for myself and a 38mm for my wife. Originally I got a 38 mm for myself but decided to return it and get the 42mm before I even opened it after trying one on at a different store. For me the 42mm is great. The exercise tracking and heart rate monitor is awesome. The easy texting is amazing and it gets it right most of the time, but I talk fast so its ok. The "tapping" others with a apple watch is a cool feature and its great that my wife and I have one. I would recommend this to someone that doesn't have to stretch their funds to get it. To get a decent workout smartish watch, your already paying $150 anyway. So why not spend the extra $50-100 and get something that goes with your iPhone like this does. I will be looking forward to upgrading in a few years. One thing I was reading was a lot of guys in particular were contemplating the two sizes. I read some that said they had smaller wrists and opted for the 38 and were afraid the 42mm was going to be too big. I am a male with smaller wrists and the 42mm is just fine. I would recommend going to the store and trying them on if you're going to be buying them online like I did. The 42mm feels better and seems way more functional than the 38mm. When compared to the wooden watch my wife just bought me for our anniversary this watch really isn't that much bigger. I'm really glad that I got the 42mm.

It simplifies daily activities by not requiring I have my phone out to know when I receive a call or text. Also really like the fitness tracking capabilities. Many features.

I like that I don't have to take my phone out every time I receive a text, call, notification, calendar appointment, etc. Once you get used to navigating the watch, it's a great tool for what's it's been designed to do... basically to be a liaison between you and your phone. Also, Best Buy has the best deal on these at $100 off. I wanted to get one for my wife, and at the time, the color (gold / antique white strap) she wanted was not available at BB, so I called Apple directly and they would not match BB's price. Fortunately I waited and the color she wanted was able to be shipped from BestBuy.com at the great price.

After reading plenty of reviews on the apple watch, I decided to suck it up and get one for myself. I have to say that I love it! Many people would go for the stainless steel version, but if you have the same guts in the apple watch sport as in the apple watch, for the price I don't feel it's worth it. The reason it's not a five star rating is the fact that the apple watch relies too much on the iPhone. Yes it does have the option to travel alone, but you will not be receiving the alerts, updates, or information you need unless you have your phone on you. Nonetheless it's a great and fun item to have. You'll definitely get some attention with this and I would definitely recommend it to anyone out there.

I personally am not a fan of the Apple Watch. After wearing it for a week, I decided it wasn't for me. My wife enjoys hers and wears it almost daily. I personally like my Fitbit HR better due to ease of use, sleep accuracy, step count, activity tracking, etc. I am sure with continued updates that the AW will be a nice piece. Additionally on a side note, when I went to return the Apple Watch, it was 16 days after purchase. You are only allowed to return it for 15 days (true story). While I understand that if you make an exception for one person that you're setting precedence, getting stuck with a $400 watch (on sale for $100 off + AppleCare) that I won't use impacted my opinion of Best Buy and Apple products.

I got this for Christmas and IMDb far I have not left without it. I am a huge fitness freak and I love this thing. Works with all the apps I already use for tracking my fitness goals and I don't leave home without it. I will be buying my fiancé one as well.

Much better since watch OS 2.0, but there still aren't enough untethered apps. I love the heart rate monitor and I'm looking forward to my favorite third party apps being able to use the sensor information. Notifications are seemless and quick but the voice texting can be so slow sometimes that I have to pull out my iPhone. Not including standalone GPS is a bit of a misstep. Overall it's a nice looking device with some cool features but not including already released technology that is found in other devices is kind of a slap in the face to Apple customers. Good but not great

Now instead of pulling out my iPhone to return messages, check email, check weather, make conversions, use calculator, get and make reminders and a billion other simple tasks I just look at my watch and it's all there. Picture phone ringing, your hands are dirty or holding something. Is it a salesman/telemarketer or a family emergency ? You don't know until you clean your hands or drop what your holding and dig phone out, not anymore I just turn my wrist over to see if I need to go through all that trouble to answer it. I got it because I like apple, but I have found it more useful than I ever dreamed
