I was a little timid to pay $400 for an item I didn't know much about. It's the best watch I've ever had. Totally customizable. Totally comfortable. And it is the perfect companion to your iPhone. Now, you can discreetly check the things on your phone you look at most: clock, weather, texts, stocks, email, heart rate, control your music, etc. it's very easy to learn how to customize it. The hardest thing for me was figuring out how to put a photo on my watch face, but I googled it and figured it out in a minute

I finally bought an Apple Watch, and I'm glad I did. It took a while to figure out how to navigate, but I am enjoying responding to phone calls and next messages without having to dig out my phone. I was afraid that I wouldn't be able to read the screen, so I bought the 42 mm watch. I have no problems reading anything. The watch was easy to sync to my phone, and other than learning the ins and outs of the phone, I've had no problems with it. I'm also enjoying all of the apps that I can get to from the watch.

Apple has truly made the best wearable tech I've ever seen. The design is fantastic, its easy to use and the OS is buttery smooth. The best part is that it definitely lowers the amount of times you have to take your phone out of your pocket. I write this review after using my Apple watch heavily for 3 days. However, today, it sits next to me repackaged in its box and ready to go back to the Apple store. Why? At the end of the day, the Apple Watch is simply a companion to your iPhone. It will never fully replace your iphone and if you expect it to, you will be very disappointed. It works great for what it can do though. Using it to read text, respond to text (the speech to text works very good), read tweets and get GPS directions all work incredibly well. Its all just a simple glance vs. having to fiddle with pulling out your iPhone. At this point, your probably wondering why I'm only giving it a 3 star review when it sounds like I loved the Watch. Well, I did love the watch and still do but at the end of the 3rd day I found myself looking at the watch and thinking: it does everything I want it to do and looks great doing it but is it really worth $349? I can't tell you the value of your money but for me, the functionality did not justify the high price. Once you get past the coolness factor of owning a smart watch, you are left with an overpriced device.

I was a little apprehensive at first but sure glad I gave it a week. Absolutely love this watch. I wear it everyday in my job of Gas industry construction ( Of course I take it off when in a gaseous atmosphere ) not sure if intrinsicly save. I love that I can text and talk without having to get the phone out, very convenient ... amazed at the way it keeps track of my road bike workouts. The direction feature of tapping you on the wrist for a turn while using maps is incredible.. absolutely love my Apple watch..

I love my Apple Watch!!! I worn it everyday for the past 2 months. It's a Great fitness tracker and the notifications are nice too. I don't have to carry my iphone around home or the offfice to keep up. I wish battery life was more then a day, that the sports model had scratch resistance sapphire, the speaker was way louder than it is especially for calls, and the entry price was much lower(well I wish that for all apple products). Overall it's a great smart watch

I've had my Apple Watch for just over a month now and have fallen in love with it. Not only do I love all the features, from being able to discretely/quickly check messages and emails, monitor how active I've been throughout the day and even make calls, but the biggest positive I've found is that I use my phone so much less now. I'm never checking it for messages or emails, updates on Facebook or anything else. As ironic as it sounds, I actually feel less tethered to my phone since my watch is tethered to it.

I love my Apple watch. It gives me all kinds of access to my phone features without having to unlock or locate my phone. Works better than most reviews make it seem. I think the biggest issue for getting a negative review, is from people who may not be super tech savvy or people that haven't quite figured out how to use all of it's features yet. I think for any gadget fan or techy this is a great device.

From opening the package to putting it on my hand, it was incredible how easy it all was. The watch is essentially an extension of your iPhone and enhances the whole iPhone experience. Apple products have always been easy to use, easy to learn, easy to love and the apple watch is no exception.

I love that with a simple flip of the wrist I can glance at my watch and get not only the time but the weather, the phase of the moon, my notifications, ect. I no longer have to pull my phone out of my pocket and wake it up merely to glance at my notifications to see if I've missed any. I love the watch, and having apple stamped on it means you are getting something that is quality without a doubt. It also helps that there are TONS of accessories so that you can spice it up a little and make it different.

I love my Apple Watch. I purchased the 42mm, space gray/black band version. I purchased this watch after reading many reviews about its performance. A few of the features that I use frequently and appreciate are: the ability to sync playlists for offline use (workouts, roadtrips, etc.), notifications of phone calls, text messages, and social media updates, and activity/fitness reminders. I especially enjoy these notifications while I am working in environments when having my phone out is not ideal.

I read the reviews about how awesome these watches are before buying and now consider them on target. This watch does a lot of things, including displaying your airline boarding pass and enables Apple Pay. Still exploring the functionality but so far very, very pleased. Love that it reminds me to stand up and move when I'm sitting for too long. I bought the sport watch just to try it but could see having a nicer looking version since it has replaced my dress watch. You won't regret the purchase!

There are still some things apple needs to smooth out... The battery drains pretty quick throughout the day, You have to download apps for actual usefulness, sometimes the watch store freezes, etc. but what do you expect out of a first generation? I'm usually not a watch wearer or Fitbit user, but I find myself using the fitness apps and such frequently! The watch to watch chat is cool... Kinda laggy but useful for quick meeting lol's! Overall, it's a solid first gen watch!

I like the fitness aspect of the watch. It is also convenient to check the watch to see who is calling and to use it for phone calls when you are not able to take your phone out. Easy to text with.

At $100 off a no brainer. Space gray and purchased a matching after market metal band. Looks very nice on my wrist and does everything you could ask for. Love all the features of exercise and heart beat No more wearing a tight chest band while working out. Checking messages and emails so ez and talking on your wrist is cool. I love the many options to change the face and use several each day. Mickey Mouse gets noticed by everyone and frankly is one of the major reasons I bought this watched

I bought this watch for my husband and by the time I had it set up and realized all the features I went and bought myself one. It is comfortable and comes in two face sizes. I got my husband the 42mm and me the 38mm and they are perfect for our wrists. It does all the fitness stuff as well as text, email and calendar. The text and email are limited in the responses that you can send, but dictation is clean and so far mistake free. There are so many more things to this watch than I imagined.

I was hesitant to buy the 1st generation of Apple Watch, but I am really glad I did. Obviously there will be improvements in future generations, however Apple nailed it right out of the gate! The ability to see text messages and incoming phone calls discretely on your wrist is perfect. The workout function is fairly accurate, and good information to have during the day. The only issues I have with the watch are the price and battery life. Otherwise the Apple Watch does everything I want it to.

I like the Apple Watch much better than my old Fitbit Charge HR. It has more functions and looks much better on my wrist.

Prior to getting the the Apple Watch I owned a Pebble Watch as my first wearable. The Pebble Watch was buggy, slow the apps rarely worked as promised. I sent it back and was given a Apple Watch for my b-day about a month ago. It is brilliant in it's design and capacity. Yes, it is tethered to the iPhone, but it's amazing. Within hours it was clear that this is a superior product and performs with great accuracy, apps work as promised and now, I don't find myself pulling my iPhone as often.

After a month of usage: based on my personal use and requirements, Pros: 1. Call handling 2. Messaging and intelligence in reply msgs. 3. Fitness tracking. Minimal with 3rd party apps though. 4. Ping feature. 5. Notifications Cons: Battery Compatibility with all apps and other phones.
