So after doing tons of homework I decided to follow through with purchasing the Apple Watch vs all other competitors battery life is great which is a plus for me love that you can customize it to your own look on the face and also by switching up the bands to dress it up or down .... I wish this piece was waterproof but water resistant is what you get when you buy this item other than that all the specs are just right for what I plan on using the watch for from tracking my health and fitness to being able to keep up with import at messages/calls during a business meeting without be interrupting I highly recommend apple watch and can't wait to see what Apple comes out with next

I got my Apple watch from Best Buy. I am not a great fan of electronic gadgets but but purchased this one because my old big Fosil stopped working and Best Buy was giving $100 discount on this apple watch.. I liked the product but not able to use it's full features. Following are the two things which i don't like on this product: 1. This needs charging everyday. The battery life is very low and i need to put it in charge every night like my phone. If I forget then i can't wear the watch next day. 2. The small arm on the right side activates the SIRI but whenever you fold your wrist to 90 degrees it will get pressed and SIRI will activate and you need to cancel it.

I'm an Apple guy. I have had Apple products for ages, however, I was apprehensive about getting the Apple Watch. But my wife really wanted them and we caught them on sale so we bit the bullet. I like it. It's fun, functional and has a very smooth interface. The type of this Apple excels as at. My biggest gripes are that I have a large wrist, so I had to buy a new band immediately. Also, the battery life seems week. I squeezed two days out of it, but that was with little use. Lastly, shouldn't it at least have a calculator app built in?

I had just gotten an Apple watch as a present, and after a few weeks, my wife "stole" it from me. This prompted me to go get a replacement. I had the stainless with the milanese loop, but that is more dressy and I wanted something less expensive and more like a common smartwatch; the stainless and milanese loop got the attention of many people and I didn't like all of the attention. So, that said, this model is quite nice. Black aluminum, black sport band, 42mm vs. 38mm (get the bigger one for easier viewing and longer battery life) and it seems to be brighter outside. It does NOT have sapphire glass, but I've banged it a few times, and no scratches, so I'm good with that. And the metal hasn't shown any signs of being banged either. The glass used on this makes it easier to see in sunlight than the sapphire glass version, but I don't understand why; there is a science thing about this. Anyway, on my 38mm version, at bedtime, I had about 35% battery left and on this one, doing the same general stuff, I have about 50% most nights. Note that I get up at 5am, and go to be at 10pm, so 17 hours later I still have 50% battery (on average). I use it as a watch, and to get notifications about text messages, and to reply to them. That is about all I use it for. I'm not a heavy text person, and I don't use this for all it can do. I just cannot see walking and talking to my watch for a phone call, or using SIRI to translate 100 text messages....I do however use it when my hands are full, to send a quick text (dinner ready for example), and SIRI does this well. It can do phone calls from the watch if you are connected to your phone, and can even be used to look up stuff. As I've gotten used to it, I use it more than I ever did before. And what started with a feeling of being "not sold" on it, I've not worn my nice watches for well over a month...since I got my first Apple watch.

Works awesome!! While the Apple Watch does a lot right, the battery life and usability issues show the company couldn't quite muster up a miracle of smartwatch design. However, there's no excuse for the poor sports features. With new native apps the Apple Watch is growing into a decent device, although not a world beater yet. What Apple has achieved is genuine wearability, and despite its flaws, the Apple Watch could be the first wearable that's actually a pleasure to wear.

I read many reviews before purchasing the 42mm Space Gray Apple watch. One of the truest I read (I realize now) is that someone said you have to give it at least a week. My wife purchased it for me for our Anniversary. For the first few days I was not overly impressed. If I had never had a smart watch I would have felt different. However, I also own the Galaxy S2 and found the features on the Apple watch the same or less. I have now had the watch for about a month and a half and have really grown to love it. The smaller size was a little tough to get used to but I picked up a case and problem solved. I think the biggest thing that swayed me into keeping it was Apple Pay. Its pretty frickin' sweet and very easy. The fitness reminders are great as well. I wear it every day now. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that the clock face options are very limited but apps will come to resolve that. Battery life is decent when you set it to turn on with wrist motion (daily charge). When you set it to turn with a screen tap, the battery will last 2-3 days.

Great product if you're using it as an extension of your phone. I use mine mostly when going for runs as it lets me just glance at my wrist verses trying to look at my iPhone when running.

Originally I purchased the Apple Watch for use just one hour or us during bike rides. Since I paired with mi iPhone and wear I couldn't remove it from my wrist! It is friendly, you can answer texts, the dictation works awesome, use Siri, board a plane and make a phone call without removing your phone from your pocket. It track your daily, weekly and monthly activity, push you to stand during the work, counting calories burned, steps climbed, etc. I strongly recommend.

I bought this as a Christmas present for my 15 year old son. He loves the watch and always has it on. He loves the simplicity and functionality of the watch. He was showing it to family and friends and was everyone was impressed with it. He has mastered using it very quickly. It is a present that he continues to use. Other presents he has received was put down and not used again after a few days. My review is based on my son's reaction and a recent comment "Love It!".

I was hesitant because I had owned a couple of Fitbits before this watch and was ok with them. Once I took the leap I'm glad I did. Fitness tracking is awesome. Another selling point was having the phone notifications buzz my wrist. While I'm walking around my worksite I can't feel or hear my phone in my pocket all the time so I would miss a lot of calls. Feeling the "buzz" on my wrist is perfect. Is it necessary...not at all, but well worth it for the convenience.

My husband received this watch for his birthday and he absolutely loves it! He keeps commenting on how he can rely on his phone less and he likes making a watch playlist and connecting his headphones and going for a run! Excellent technology and lots of useful functions. I do recommend a bumper and scratch resistant screen protector as I've read the screen is prone scratches.

At first I was skeptical about getting the watch. I received the watch as a Christmas gift from my girlfriend but I'm glad I got it. It's highly convenient and the features will always improve. It's nice to have the accessibility to speak in your watch and text it to whoever you need to get a message too. You don't have to worry bout taking your phone out especially as you drive. I recommend this for anyone with an iPhone. It's convenient, stylish, and easy to use.

I was on the fence about how much I would use the watch and held off on getting one for a long time. My two biggest drawbacks going in were the uncertainty of use and the price point. However, once I had the watch on my wrist those concerns were quickly alleviated. Watch OS2 has allowed developers to write much better apps for the watch which has definitely increased its functionality. I do not regret the purchase one bit. I find more uses for the watch every day.

I was a PC and Android fan until I bought my first iPhone. Several iPhones and iPad devices later, I was curious about the introduction of the Apple Watch but I didn't have a strong desire to own one. That was until my Wife bought me one as a gift. The things I love most about it , is the fitness app(s) and integration of highly used apps such as Calendar, iMessage, voice calls with my iPhone. SIRI voice recognition is reasonably accurate p and is an important way to effectively interacts with the Watch. Very limiting typing inputs due to size of screen. I debated about the smaller versus larger size and I have. I regrets about buying the 42mm one.
