I was lucky and able to price match this at $300 as opposed to paying $400. The battery life is about a day and a half of normal use. The usefulness is there, but it is still more of a Nice to Have bordering on gimmick. I like being able to see incoming e-mails or text messages without having to glance at my phone in a meeting. Hopefully Watch 2 has much better battery life and the apps become more useful. Also needs A LOT more customization with the watch faces. Its still pretty sad/embarrasing.

I think the watch is great and it does everything it is intended to do and more. It does not replace your phone it enclhances it. There has been plenty of times where i just glance over to the watch for notifications and even answer thru the watch. I also love the fitness part of it where it keeps track of your day and claories without you even noticing.

Bought this Apple Watch over Thanksgiving Holiday with the Best Buy sale. Beautiful and well made. I have been playing with it for a month, and it's functional and fun to play with but I am coming to a conclusion that I can live without this watch, which I cannot say the same re: my iPhone. As for the watch itself, I find the battery life to be reasonably long - I typically have about 20-30% left after a full day's use (some SIri, calendar reminders, checking email, and fitness tracking) I find texting (via Siri) to be about 70% accurate vs. >90% on the phone. I think this will improve as I get used to the watch functions. Overall, nice gadget and fun to play with, but not a must have in my opinion.

The apple watch is awesome, it has the ability to do multiple things with a lot of apps that are averrable for use and more constantly being made. Works well to assist in keeping track of daily activity and workouts. Easily read income messages and emails or other notifications from social media. Very customizable and able to arrange items how you prefer.

The reason I bought this watch is because I tried a Jawbone and a Fitbit and though I liked what both did for my fitness goals, I hated wearing them everyday. They were bulky and I really wanted something that felt like a fashion accessory. With the ability to change out my bands from sporty to dress and to help with my fitness goals, I'm all set.

I love my my Apple Watch Sport. I was skeptical at first, but after the first few weeks I can't imagine life without it. It's nice to have all my notifications on my wrist to glance casually in all settings. Plus a variety of convenient apps available on the my wrist. I love changing out the bands to class it up and fit all occasions. Great purchase.

I bought the Apple Watch for my husband as a Christmas present. After looking at different stores we found it at Best Buy for $100 off during the holiday season. He loves all the features from fitness tracking, to voice texting and even using Siri. Some features aren't that useful like taking pictures but overall he loves it. Wears it all day everyday.

I have never been a fan of wearing a watch. But now I feel lost without it! Works flawlessly with my iPhone. It's nice to be able to see texts and change music while at work without getting in trouble for having my phone out. I purchased a black band because white gets dirty at work very easily. I will always have an Apple Watch to pair with my iphone

The watch is very easy to use and understand. I use it mostly for time (duh), texts, appointments and task reminders. So easy to read and quickly acknowledge texts right from your wrist. The haptic feedback is great. The best part is my phone doesn't have to be in my hand. Can be in my pocket, in my desk, on a table on the other side of the house etc.

This is a really great new piece of technology. It is one that needs to be refined. But just taking this initial step is very good for us looking to future technology. I look forward to improved operating systems for the watch. And know things Are going to progress exponentially

I was skeptical that the Apple Watch would give me enough utility to justify the price. I have found, however, more ways to use this device than I originally imagined. From fitness, time keeping, to quickly either accepting or declining calls, without ever pulling my phone out of my pocket. I'm also finding more ways to use this device as time passes.

Okay, so this is no real need for it. But come on, you can text from your wrist, make phone calls, see the weather and of course, check the time while keeping your phone in your pocket. May be a need for people that like to walk in the city and look at there phone at the same time

I was surprised at how easily accessible this is and how easy it has made my life. From quickly glancing at my apple watch instead of pulling my phone out and looking at it, I saved a lot of time. It's simply amazing at how well organized the applications were made. I have read reviews regarding both models and decided upon the aluminum back with 42mm.

It is pretty much a perfect iPhone assistant. I often times cannot pull my phone out because its in a pack, or I am doing something with my hands. I can see if the call is important or give customized responses in text. I also enjoy being able to find directions either driving or walking in a city without having to keep yourself glued to your phone.

I have been wanting the iwatch for awhile but I'm a broke doctural student so I had to wait. Fortunately I happen to be at Best Buy when they went on sale so I got a hundred bucks off. For those who are curious or in aware, the watch works solely through Bluetooth. It sends you all notifications your phone would recieve. The vibration is silent and subtle. The watch is not waterproof. You can get away with washing your hands but I wouldn't recommend a shower. You can also answer calls on the watch and text back predetermined phrases or emojis. As a teacher it comes in handy mid lecture when I recieve emails. My favorite feature is the fitness stuff. It tracks steps, standing, Caleries, and exercise. I also like having Siri on my wrist to set timers while I cook or for simple reminders when I'm on the go. Battery life is pretty good although is you recieve a bunch of notifications often it does ware on the battery some. Most of the time I can go two-three days before charging it again. I give it four stars because it is not waterproof nor does it track sleep. I would recommend to any apple enthusiast.

I purchased the Apple Watch because I love all apple products. The Apple Watch has not disappointed me. I love using it as a fitness tracker. I just wish it would be a little bit more accurate in tracking my exercise. I am an avid skier and ski coach and it doesn't not track my skiing but that seems that is the only down side of the Apple Watch.

I purchased the Apple Watch for my fiancé for Christmas and he actually bought me one too! They are awesome. You can do much more on it than I expected. We were initially looking at the Fitbit Surge since we are big into fitness but didn't like the look or the price. You get so much more out of the Apple Watch for not much more money. It's great!

I have not worn a watch in years because it's really just a style piece with everyone having a cell phone. The Apple Watch functions perfectly fine as a watch and has many great features. Being able to quickly check a text without pulling out my phone is great. As with a lot of other people I have found that it is a great accessory but it's not a I can't live without item. Overall I really like it and I'm sure as developers continue to make watch specific apps it will only get better.
