I ended up getting two watches one for my son and one for me. For my son, it's a cool gadget that helps him stay connected to his iPhone without having to have it out in his hand. For me I like the sleep tracker and I use the fitness apps everyday. The watch is comfortable, good looking and very functional. I love mine and I highly recommend it.

I have to say the Apple Watch is everything I expected it to be. As a network technician that is always in front of clients I love being able to peek at my wrist when it vibrates and see a glimpse of who emailed or who texted and at least the subject. Expect the battery to last about a day. If you do a lot of heart rate monitoring it may be less.

I never tried one of these on in person but when I saw them online I immediately went for the black one because I liked the look. After wearing it a few days I appreciate the functionality of the watch. The idea of this watch is really to wear it everyday and the sport models lack the fashion versatility the steel models have. I really like the idea of one single watch that can turn into a G-Shock type watch when doing rugged activities like mountain biking, a sporty watch when jogging or wearing a t-shirt, and then a dress watch when going out for dinner, using different bands and cases. You just can't do that right with the sport model. It just looks cheap in my opinion, but it is exactly what is advertised, a sport watch. If your looking to wear this as a work out watch this model is perfect for that. It's lighter, the case is less prone to scratches, and you just won't have to worry about messing it up as much. But if your truly in the market for a dedicated sport watch that you will only wear working out there are way better options, mainly the ones with built in GPS, which this watch does not. Like I said the soft wear on this watch really begs for you to wear it all the time and for that reason I returned this model and bought the Stainless model. Sure you can put a nice band on these sport watches to dress them up but that is really up to you to decide if that looks good or not. For an everyday watch I really like the stainless better especially if you wear a wedding band as this just looked awful with my ring. Again I wouldn't not recommend this watch to someone as it does the exact same thing as my stainless but just know what your buying. If you are the type of person who likes watches you will appreciate the craftsmanship of the stainless a lot more. Compared side by side there is a huge difference. In my opinion this watch is a Sport watch only. The Stainless is a sport watch, a fashion watch, and a dress watch all in one.

The classic watch display is very classy. So far I see the watch as an extension of my phone. The phone needs to be nearby to use all the functions. It's great to get a light buzz on the wrist from a text or phone call. A quick look lets me know how important it is. The ability to have preform acted brief text responses is handy and the voice recognition works well for me. It does need to be charged each evening. It doesn't have the robust sleep analytics that other wearables have,

When the watch came out, I thought that I would never find any use for it, and that it's gimmicky. Now that I own a watch, I have found that it's extremely helpful in finding my iPhone whenever I misplace it in the house. As an educator, I'm always on my feet, with my attention on the children. I'd go an entire day without having time to check my phone. With the watch, I'm able to get set alerts from apps that are important to me. Now, there's no more excuses for me to miss a text.

I'm still getting used to it. Apple did it again! Sleek with the same technology Apple always delivers. It feels comfortable in my wrist. Super easy to set up and pair with cell phone. I'm still discovering things about it. Pros: I don't use my cell phone as much at work. I just look at my watch and attend only what's important. Cons: the price! I'm not an Apple fanatic. Buying the watch is definately not a need. I would've been fine without one but it was a gift from my husband.

Works just as advertise. I love the versatility and the ability to personalize my Apple Watch. I have had 3 fit bits in one year, the Apple Watch is much more durable. The only down side is not being connected to friends with the activity app like fit bit. However, you can keep tract of friends through the Nike run app of actual workout/runs.

I bought the Apple Watch about a month ago and I love it! I work at a summer camp around children who can get pretty rowdy on occasion and the band that comes with it holds up really well. Oftentimes we take the kids to the pool and the watch is fine getting splashed and even works if dunked in the water--the speaker does occasionally stop working for a short period if it is submerged. The most useful tool I find is the heart rate sensor which regularly checks your heart rate throughout the day. It works exceptionally well with the workout app that comes pre-installed on the watch and I find those two things to be used most often. I bought a third party Milanese loop to use as well and that works/looks great so don't wast money on the $550 version just for that. It's a great product but keep in mind it's the first edition too (if I were to get another one I would wait at least until the 3rd generation)

I was skeptical at first regarding buying the watch, but once I decide to take the plunge it's become absolutely critical. I rarely take my phone from my pocket anymore except to make a phone call or check a website, everything is right there with the raise of my wrist! My wife, who is completely non tech savvy, absolutely loves hers as well!

The watch is nice and easy to put on and take off. I really just wish that was waterproof. And the battery lasts ok...

I bought this I watch about a month ago. At first I was skeptical about it. Once I loaded my major applications on it, activated in & my notifications, it's amazing how useful it is to look down at my Apple watch, instead of pulling your phone out of your pocket or finding your phone, especially while driving. The I watch has made my job and life so much easier, I'm an attorney always on the run, and it helps keep me up-to-date. If you're not afraid of technology this is the watch for you!!!

Great for running biking, etc. Great for taking quick calls and short messages. Great for calendar reminders and appointments. Can see quick news and travel updates. Overall very useful. I like the way the band attaches. I have the sport in gold with blue band. I have the black band and wear it most of the time. Battery life is one day.

Got this as a gift to replace a pebble steel. Although the battery isn't near as long, I do get well over a full days use out of a charge with normal use. The biggest benefit for me so far is the integration into the running app I use. If you don't care about bringing your phone along for a run, the watch works great as a running watch.

I am an iPhone user so it was a pretty transition to the watch. I wanted something to track my steps and burned calories. It also has a heart rate monitor so it was a must buy. It is priced around the same as the fitbit with the same features but has so much more. You will never miss a call with the watch as it vibrates on your wrist.

Absolutely love my Apple Watch. Having scene the price drop for this watch I decided to buy it. Hardly ever have to take my phone out at wor because I get my notifications right on the watch. Makes it convey to awnser phone calls and the band for the sports watch is perfect for the kind of work I do. I highly recommend purchasing one.

Having this Apple Watch has taken me to the next level of the technological future in my opinion. While it may seem basic, all things must start out basic, but look at its total potentional. Great quality, easy setup and use. Love the way I can reset it when there is a problem and it already has a recent backup for you to restore to.

I got this watch for my husband and he really like it. He is super excited with all the feature in the wach. He really like the fact that he can even talk thru his watch. I'm so happy I get to make him happy. Thank you apple and Best Buy. The cool thing is I bought it thru Best Buy and will allow me to pay it in 6 months interest free.

Does more things than I thought possible, I leave my phone in my pocket most of the time.At first I thought it was a toy but after using it for a short time I realized it works together with the iPhone perfectly. Couldn't imagine being without it now! Really recommend using power reserve, it makes a huge difference in battery life.

bought this for myself and i must say it's a god purchase, got it for a god sale but my opinion not worth getting at regular price, only negative thing is battery dies to quick, last prob 15-17 hrs continuous and the speaker where u can talk is bad where u can barely understand what the person is saying on the watch, the text and all other apps and stuff are well on point.
