Great watch but not the price

I would recommend the microsofts band 2, but if the Apple Watch was $250.00. I would go for the Apple Watch. I'll recommend you wait for Apple Watch 2.

Apple Watch

It will be useless to you. That said, the app support leaves more to be desired but the OS functions seamlessly and the apps that are currently available are quite useful. I personally like being able to track my sleep and have vibration alarms directly above a major nerve group. Makes for a nice calm wake up from deep sleep. This watch also allows use of maps, voice texting which makes getting around places on my motorcycle much easier.

Useful for work and home

I am able to keep track of work tasks and time entry using the appropriate apps. I also use it to track my workouts. I use my PowerBeats wireless headset so I can run with just my Apple Watch and wireless headset and leave my phone at home. I opted for the original version since I wanted to save money. It is probably a little slower than the second generation, but with Watch OS 3, it is responsive enough to be useful without me needing to spend more money than I wanted to.
