I bought this watch to surprise my husband for his birthday and he loves it. we were considering a fit bit. His job requires him to be at a desk without a phone always readily available and the watch makes it easy to communicate as well as to track his steps and heart rate. It was a much better buy than expected

I passed on the first version of the WatchOS, but after 2.0, and more functionality, I decided to give it a try. So far, I love it. I am not really interested in Siri, Music, Texts, email, or other things my iPhone does just fine. I wanted a fitness tracker that was also a watch. I used an UP2 for awhile, and it was fine for movement, but I also wanted something that could use my heart rate to help evaluate my workouts. ( I checked out the UP3 and new Microsoft Band, but found them uncomfortable.) So, the Apple Watch is doing exactly what I want, is comfortable, and is easy to wipe off after sweating all over it during a workout. It seems to reasonably measure my burn when on a Rower or Eliptical. Since I am not interested in some of the other items it does, I do keep it in airplane mode when at work, turn airplane mode off when at wifi spots my phone recognizes, and also leave Bluetooth off on my phone most of the day. So, my watch battery lasts at least 36 hours, although I charge it at night. When I find a decent sleep app, or if Apple makes one, I will change my charging habits, maybe each morning at work, or at home on days off. I may invest in a Milanese loop band one day, but the basic sport band is the most comfortable to me.

I bought this watch after almost a year of it being on the market with good reviews. I like the features that are offered that lessen having to use the phone as often. I like the apps available and the use of the watch is fairly easy to figure out. Looking forward to updates and or more features made available.

Great experience overall, spent a week debating on the Apple Watch or the new Fitbit. After reading reviews and seeing how much more the Apple Watch offered, there was hesitation on my purchase. I use it for work, working out, hanging out and simply just because. I was mostly sold on the hand free playlist shuffle which paired great with my Bluetooth Beats. Wow, what a difference in my run and even when lifting weights. Highly recommend, simply more useful and easy to navigate. Almost forgot, the heartbeat, running stats, pace at a glance is great. You just slightly lift you wrist and you have it all there. No need to tap or switch something, all those things just throw your pace off!

I have an iphone plus and it is just too big to carry around in my pocket and must be on silent while I am in the office. having the watch allows me to leave my phone locked up as i move around the big office without missing a beat. it is fun to use. it works very smoothly . I dont have any complaints so far.

The apple watch is an excellent product, that you can not miss to have, I really like it for the activity part that can really give you an update of your daily activity, also the diplay is incredible and really fun to use. I really recommend it.

Let me start with the fact that I love gadgets and this definitely falls into that category. This is a great addition to the iPhone and if you like being up to date on all notifications, its a must. The first few weeks I wondered if I should return it but after that I started to rely on it. So after a month in, I'm starting to really rely on it and am happy bought it. I look forward to seeing where the technology takes us in the future.

I bought this because it was on sale. For the first release of the watch it does have some nice features. I did get this to replace my Fitbit. It definitely fits capturing the data that I wanted and more. The smart notifications are a nice add. Haven't used the apps too much but not much functionality there.

I was skeptical I would find this useful enough to justify the cost. I very quickly became accustomed to checking notifications on the device instead of pulling my phone out of my pocket. It's fun to play with all the different watch faces. Siri is also a better experience from the watch and so is Apple Pay.

I bought this as a gift for my partner and he loved it. (I love it, too, as now he really has no excuse to not reply to my messages or calls). Everything is great on there and so convenient, specially for those running in and out of their office as he is. The only complain we do have though is the battery life. It runs out in about 4-5 hours. :( Other than that, which I'm sure Apple will definitely get on if they haven't yet, love!

I purchased this for my husband for Christmas. He is a Mac person all the way!!!! He has had an Apple product since they came out. He wasn't sure about the watch though. He wear hearing aids. He doesn't put them in first thing in the morning BUT he always put a watch on. Because he doesn't wear the hearing aids all the time and I work so phone calls get missed. I decided to get the watch for the simple fact that he would be notified of a call (me calling if in an accident on the way to work or his family calling in an emergency - his father is 89.) He was extremely pleased (I wished I had taken a picture when he opened it up!!!!) He has found so many more useful things that he could use it for. He is always thanking me daily for this gift. He loves it so much, he bought me the rose gold one for an early birthday gift (3 months early.) I would highly recommend this to anyone who is on the fence. It works so well when paired to your iPhone. When he calls me through the watch, the sound is crystal clear on both ends. Go for it you can't go wrong!!!!!!

So many functions for health, lifestyle and entertainment and it TELLS TIME!! I find a different use for it almost daily and Ive had it a month! No more having to whip out the phone just to see an email, text or who is calling. You can control everything from phone camera to your car with the Apple Watch.

I am really enjoying this watch. I think the most useful feature for me has been to be discretely notified of messages, calendar events, etc. I am looking forward to more stores offering Apple Pay so I can use that function. Gripes? Not much, really... a longer battery life would be nice. I do find that occasionally it takes a bit of an exaggerated motion to wake up the screen. Other than that... so far it is an excellent product.

I bought this watch for the workout capability coupled with the heart rate monitor. It has exceeded my initial expectations of its capabilities. Some concern for battery life with the watch if I forget to take it off and charge it at night, but as long as it gets charged at night it lasts me an entire day.

Watch works great with Apple iPhone. Because technology gets outdated quicker than ever before with new flagships coming out each year, I bought the cheaper version as the internal hardware and software does not change. In other words it's useless to drop $500 - $600 on a watch that's gonna be old technology in a few years. Other than that it does all its designed to and it does it well. Had the fitbit before that, but it had to go back as it was prehistoric,I felt. I purchased it during the holiday season sale, but I don't think I would have bought it at full price. It's sleek and it fits nice. I wear it with suits and also at the gym and it does not get on the way. Four stars only because it does a few things that irritate me, such as it keeps the messages even after I deleted them from the iPhone (so much for mirroring the iPhone) and the emails will hang on the watch even after you delete them on the iPhone. Nevertheless these are small issues, fixable with an update. Other than that apple pay and everything else works fine. It was a good buy.

This watch offers a balanced offering of activity tracking, app offering and it only grows as much Apple facilitates. I would recommend this model over the other apple watches because it is a couple $100s less with all the same internals.

The apple watch has been out long enough and the reviews are mostly the same; you will like/love your apple watch. If you're an iOS user, there is no substitute to functionality and integration.

It's amazing. I especially like the way the watch gives you a physical tap on your wrist, as new information arrives. Great watch. What could possibly be next?

I bought Apple Watch for my wife as a Christmas gift. I myself am already an Apple Watch user. I love it... I know there are a lot of non apple products that provide similar functionality, but as always Apple products are on the top. My wife loves it as well... We would definitely recommend this product.

l am happy with my choice for space grey over stainless. its fist gen so you know it wont be perfect. the only reason i didn't give 5 stars is battery life. i wish it was better which you think through testing it would have been. but with that being said i don't mind putting it in nightstand mode at night to charge it. i personally like that display. i don't have a heavy interaction with the watch so i can get 2 days out of it.
