The Apple Watch is decent and on par with android wear. I would not call it a must have item or something I could not live without. It was worth the $100 deal from Best Buy, however there is no way I would pay full retail. You still need your phone to complete many tasks though the quick respond from iMessage is a plus. Hopefully OS3 will punch this up a notch.

Got exactly what I wanted in regards to the watch, would have preferred a different band but just ordered that online the next day. The woman who helped me at the store was incredibly helpful and talked me through the different options and current deals.

I love the watch for everything it can do. From different watch faces, controlling your music wirelessly, to changing slides on my PowerPoint presentations. What I wish it could do is track my sleep via a built in fitness app or via the up3 app like the up3 fitness band does. Once this improvement is made, the watch will be a 5 star piece of equipment in my book.

I purchased the Apple Series 1 watch as an open-box item. There wasn't a scratch on the face and the band made of black rubber feels great. If you're wanting to get an Apple Watch and don't plan to swim with it on, Series 1 will do just fine.

My Apple Watch is a daily accessory now. Keeps me active and in the know. My only complaint is the heart rate monitor. I ended up getting a polar heart rate strap to go with it. I'm a fitness competitor and know roughly how fast my heart rate is going based on previous activity trackers and the wrist trackers are just lacking the ability to get a true read.

I admit, I tried products by Pebble and Fitbit before I finally spent the extra money for the Apple Watch. The other products were smart watch lite. Apple Watch is fully realized tech. While I'm sure it will continue to mature, it fits the bill as is.

Bought the Apple Watch after the first price break. Recently thought I should have waited for v2 but now after having used it with the most recent WatchOS version I have zero regrets. Much better than my old Fitbit and Basis Watch that was recalled.

The 1st gen Apple Watch is good for what it is. It pairs well with my iPhone 6s & does most functions I need without using my phone. But it could be much more stylish and have included a metal band. I prefer to wear my Movado watch when I go out when I dress up nice or go to formal events.

Better then a Fit Bit. Battery doesn't last long if you use it a lot.

If you're a fan of all things Apple, it's a must. If not, the watch may not be worth the cost. It's a convenient mirror of what's on your phone and it is an efficient way to view notifications. Some apps are cleverly shared between the devices, while others - not so much. I enjoy it and am glad I purchased it, but it most certainly wasn't worth the asking price.

Some say they can't live without it. I guess I can. I do like it but sometimes it's more of a pain, like the other day I was in a hurry to find info while on the move but progress updates kept popping up getting in my way which was very annoying being on the go and in a hurry. Maybe I don't use it to it's potential, I like it but can live without it.

Nice to have, looks good on hand. Weekest product of apple so far, when ot comes for the value it provides

It is nice looking, but just doesn't have the features I was hoping for will wait for another generation

We bought two watches and we like it very much makes life lot easier

The watch is perfect for use when you don't always want to pull your phone out to see what is going on. The built in step counter and calorie counter are great to see your progress thought the day. Plus a lot of the apps from your phone are compatible.

Only issue is battery drains quickly. Wish it tracked steps taken

This watch is a great smart watch. Just wish the face was bigger.

The Apple Watch is perfect. It's like a mini phone/computer on your wrist. Best part is add a Bluetooth headphones and you can listen to music without anything bulky on you. Highly recommend.

I purchased one for myself and I love it! Purchased one for my boyfriend as well since we're both in the medical field and can't always have our phones on hand. They definitely come in handy!
