This is the 1st generation model. I decided to buy when it was heavily discounted right after the Series 2 announcement. I didn't feel that waterproof rating and GPS were things I needed, and a month in I still don't think I would have needed them. It's great as a fitness tracker, but I wanted it mostly for notifications. I'm in a lot of meetings where taking out my phone isn't okay, but looking at who sent me an email or text to decide if it's an emergency is fine. Notifications usually come through right away, but sometime it misses texts or you get the last hour worth of emails all at once.

I have been researching apple watches and finally decided to purchase one. This watch does it all. Nothing to complain about! I love it

It’s good handy piece of watch. You text and call from you watch without taking your phone out of the pocket.

I bought this on sale and this is my first Apple Watch. So far no complaints it is very good, lightweight and does everything I need.

My husband loves his Apple Watch. His email and texts as well as steps are right on his wrist.

In love with this Apple Watch!! With the new 2.2 update it's like a whole new watch. It's an eye candy too! Silver is the best color.

i would really recommend getting one, lit af. Use it everywhere i go, i sometimes forget to charge it but its fine.. totally worth it

I can't go anywhere without my Apple Watch. I use it to monitor myself while I exercise. There are so many great apps and customizations.

It's a good watch but I keep having software problems with mine. It will cut off sometimes by itself and won't come back on for awhile.

It's not bad. It's just that, for $400, it should be able to provide much more. It's an expensive extension of the phone that is nearly useless when it's not terribly far away from the phone. It should be about $200 for what it can truly do beyond look flashy (which, unlike a normal watch, will be be obsolete in a flash). Apple needs some real innovation and needs to stop resting on the laurels of its name.

Bought it for my husband for father's day, he loved it. Very wrong, he works in construction and wears it every day, no damage.

The watch provides a great interface with the iPhone. Also, it provides the physical activity monitoring I desired in a wearable device.

Saves me from reaching for my phone every time I get a notification. Great battery life, very reliable, great price. Highly recommended

Ever wanted to be inspector gadget and have a watch that did and controlled and interacted with a lot of your electronics? Then this isn't the watch for you. This is not my first go round with this watch and neither times have I been impressed with it at all. Apple makes it out to be like a powerful device that will revolutionize your life. Don't buy into the hype, the Apple Watch is an over glorified notification device. It can be downright invasive in ones life. For instance when trying to sleep in the middle of the night you may have the watch wake you to tell you you need to stand more often cause you haven't met your stand goal. Or how about this, you get a text message and you have to speak it out to the watch and hope it will say it just as you said. It's a shame cause I have several apple devices, but apple lost their innovation years ago. Trust me it is faster to pull a phone out of your pocket and do whatever needs to get done in comparison to how many steps it requires on the Apple Watch. Honestly it is only good for a few things and one may be Apple Pay. Save yourself a few hundred bucks and put it toward the iPhone 6s!

I waited on purchasing this watch but wish I would have done it sooner. The integration with my phone is everything I expected and more.

I purchased this with purchasing an iPhone for my mom. I have a FitBit. The Apple Watch does not compare to the FitBit. My Apple watch has been banished to a drawer. Reasons: No Sleep tracker. If you want to track your sleep. I was told you would have to start the tracker first. Might as well use the stop watch on my iPhone. Many cool LOOKING features but you have to purchase additional items/apps to use them. The way the dashboard is set up is just not good. Not sure how to follow the circles. I do regret this purchase and will continue using my FitBit. The Apple Watch will stay in the drawer.

So like everyone else I bought the apple watch. I love the finish on the watch and the wonderful display and the fact that I can see messages, calls, emails etc without having the phone in my hand all the time. However the fact that you have to turn your wrist almost 45 degrees to activate the watch can be annoying since they is no subtle way to look at the time in a conversation without obviously turning your wrist and pointedly looking at the time. The display can be difficult to read in the bright daylight. Regardless a good product maybe an elegant solution to a nonexistent problem for now.

This watch is so Apple! Very convenient, light as a feather and very stylish. A watch that fits every and ANY personality.

My husband loves his Apple Watch! It would be nice if it had FaceTime on there though! That's his only complaint so far. Still 5 stars.

The apple watch is a good purchase to so you do not have to keep looking at your phone plus you can use the watch to make/receive calls.
