I had purchased this as a gift for my wife. I had previously purchased the Microsoft band 2 for her but even though I liked the direction that Microsoft was going the end product never felt completely finished. The Apple Watch is not the best fitness band but it has decent battery life and the messaging and force touch features are great. Microsoft band would have probably been better if all the windows phone features were available on iPhone and android. Apple Watch works very well with iPhone and you can even talk through it if you receive a phone call. Also the watch can be used to judge the distance you ran without a gps. all you need to do is calibrate it by running with a phone a few times and then it becomes pretty accurate. She really loves the watch and I am also thinking of getting one for myself. Also with the new WatchOS coming out the watch will become more functional. Also Amazon has a lot of great cheap aftermarket bands just make sure to look at all the majority of reviews and the amount of people who have reviewed. Also make sure that you select the correct width and band size.

I wear it everyday. It has replaced my fuel band SE and adds to my productivity everyday. I should have bought it sooner.

It was a birthday gift and it been her best gift ever and working very well, pretty sure we will e purchasing one soon.

Great supplement to your smart phone when you are in a situation in which phone use is discouraged. Great for texting, calendar alerts, and timekeeping. Doesn't work well for apps you want more access with.
