Great fun for someone that hates watches

I have never liked wearing a watch. I work on cars a lot and they're always just in the way. Plus I have small wrists and the watches tend to slide up and down my arms constantly which drives me nuts. This watch however fits beautifully. It's just snug enough. The thing I like best about it is the fitness app. I do IT work so I sit constantly, and it's constantly reminding me to stand up and move. I had a fitbit before, but this seems to work much better for me. You can answer texts via talk to text, and I can answer my phone while driving from the watch. I can view the weather from it as well. Very happy so far. People mentioned the battery life and yes, you do have to charge it daily, however I got a stand for my night stand that holds the charger so I just pop it off and lay it on that before bedtime. typically, i'm about 60% by the end of the day, but not enough charge to go 2 days.

i heard great things about the watch and got it but I HATE IT, it never logged my activities and so i would have to switch between my fitbit and the watch. I was not worth the $$ to not even use it for a portion of m day! y

I picked up this watch when it was on sale down to $299 which was a steal! Wore it for a few days was skeptical the first few days getting my messages sent to my wrist but I didn't have to dig my phone out of my coat pocket to read it or reply which was nice. Started using it with the health kit on my iPhone to track my workouts, runs and sleep an I really started to love it. Only issue was that since I used to track my sleep I had to charge it first thing in the morning. Battery life wasn't up to par with what I wanted so I ultimately returned it. Some people tell me the 42mm has better battery life so maybe I'll try that. Also I used my 12W charger to charge rather then the one it comes with. Charged 2x as fast. I recommend trying it for a few days.

My wife bought this for me for my birthday and I have been very pleasantly surprised by how useful it is. I would have rated it a five, but having to charge the battery daily is somewhat limiting as I spend time off grid hunting and fishing. Otherwise, it works great for fitness (Apple could improve their software - fitbit is better) and is far more useful than I expected for messaging, etc. It really is great not to have to grab my phone every time I get a notification.

Great if you’re looking to have quick and easy phone calls and notification from your phone. It’s nice looking with some pretty cool customizable display options. The watch has a battery life of 1 day and will need to be charged every night. However if you’re also looking for a replacement for fitbit or a high end heart rate monitor, I recommend waiting. Reasons: Heart rate monitor lags. If you’re trying to work out in fat burning zones it will get annoying waiting for the watch to catch up. The Pedometer also lags - This is a little of an annoyance if you have a step goal for the day and waiting for the watch to update. All in all It’s a fun toy and if I did not feel like I needed to wear the iwatch and my fitbit I would keep the watch. However given that is not cheap, I feel it’s worth a wait to see what apple can improve for the next watch.

This is a like a remote for your phone. What do I need that for? What a waste of money. Bought two, took both of them back and what a hassle that was. I played with it and tried to like it. No point. I'd rather buy a much less expensive watch.

Great Watch With Many Useful Features

At first, I was one of those people who believed that the Apple Watch was a waste of money, thinking to myself that I would never get one, and when seeing someone actually wearing one, thinking to myself "why"? However, I recently purchased a Fitbit charge hr, and noticed that the Apple Watch was on sale for just a little more than the Fitbit, all while doing everything and much more than the Fitbit could do. So, I gave it a try. I must say, I now understand why people enjoy it so much. It is an excellent tool for exercise , counting your steps and activity, as well as your heart rate. The sport band is very comfortable while wearing during exercise too. Also, receiving and replying to texts is a breeze, as is making phone calls. Recently, Apple Pay became available in my country, and it is very convenient to pay with the watch without having to take out your wallet. I would recommend the 42mm screen size, as the 38 is a bit small, especially for those with larger fingers. I would recommend this watch for those who already own Apple products and enjoy the seamless operation and easy learning curve, for those who want to track exercise activity, or those who love new technology.

My apple watch is now my go to device. It's so much easier to use than to pull out my phone. I work with my hands all day and don't have time to slow down. Being able to respond to texts and answer calls with the touch of one finger is awesome. It's better than awesome. It's made me more productive at work. It's also helped me get healthier and move more to achieve my move goals. It's one of the best purchases I've ever made.
