tried 2 different ones and doesn’t work with existing chime. it would only work if the case was not fully closed, but once I slide down the front fully to install screw, chime doesn’t work...the contacts inside probably don’t line up correctly... others have same issue when I searched online... would also like a camera in it as well to have front face view of peoples faces...

I’ve owned this for two months. We have 6 Arlo Pro cameras so thought this was a no brainer to add. But the reality is it works poorly at best. If you are looking for a doorbell security system like RING this is not your solution. Issues: Motion detection to trigger camera is sobslow they have left before it starts recording Camera does no record on doorbell ring Mobile APP works 10% of time for doorbell answering Audio is worthless, can’t hear it

This is a great addition to my Arlo camera system.

Love the clear sound and the immediate response. However, older doorbells do not work well with the system. Unable to trouble shoot with the IT department. Still trying to get it to work.

My base station is very close to the bell. Yet the chime doesn't get triggered sometimes. I think it is the button on the bell. It doesn't have enough travel to make it feel like a button

Nice to know when someone approaches your front door. Immediately get a call (you have to set it up that way), but in the age of porch pirates stealing packages, nice to know. You will be surprised how many people really come to your door.

Works perfectly with your Arlo security camera setup. Receive a call when someone is at your door, see live feed if you have it synced with an Arlo camera. Talk to them through the doorbell. If you don’t answer they can even leave you a message.

I hooked it on my existing door chime and took me 30 mins for the whole process. Motion sensor is sensitive enough and also adjustable. Works in tandem with my front door camera - starts recording as soon as the bell has ring or motion had been detected.

I installed the doorbell in less than a half hour. Great addition to cameras I already had. Someone push the button and our phones get called. When I answer, I see and can talk to whoever is there. Very simple and easy.

This is an addition to our Arlo Network of cameras and safety lights. Could not be more pleased with the Alexa integration letting us know when some rings the doorbell.

Immediate connect to my phone when some rings the bell. I use them in conjunction with my arlo cameras so I know who’s coming. I like the message feature so you don’t have to open the door.

Works great. Like that it calls your phone when someone pushes the doorbell button. Know that only two doorbells work for one Arlo basestation. I didn’t know that before hand and accidentally bought three for my exterior doors.

I have caught my wife cheating twice , awesome way to keep tabs on Home while I am out of the Country. I can even talk to her if I have Wi-Fi at the Hotel I am in. It is a great way to keep tabs on your loved ones

A lot depends on where you have your camera at and the angle of the camera. Dont forget a thief will have a hoodie on or turn his face away from the camera.

I had a couple issues with the initial set up, but overall, I love this. It uses the camera I have set up looking at my front door. The only thing I don't like is that you can't adjust the sensitivity settings

Uses batteries to connect to router, even if hardwired to old doorbell wiring. Info says batteries last 1 year. Used the ones included and lasted 36 hours, next two sets lasted 24-36 hrs each. Was told it was because of cold, bought lithium ion batteries (rated for -140) and those lasted 3 days. I gave up and took it back. Love my camera, they need to work on the doorbell.

I am not happy with this product because doesn’t have camara and if I am not at home I can’t answering it

It works for what they made it do but it's kinda dumb in use. It just forwards the doorbell to your phone so you answer it like a call.
