Great choice for People who have Arlo cameras already installed as one camera can be designated to connect with the doorbell to record based on visual motion or audible triggers. I also like having the ability to connect it to the existing doorbell chimes.

What a great addition to the Arlo family of products

Easy to install and connect to the Arlo base station.

this works great if have other arlo products because thats what this is really meant for. you have to have the hub from the cameras. but it works great with all your arlo product and the chime. takes regular AA so don't have to wire it but you can if want to.

first time buying doorbell have not used much because we don't have lots of visitors but go to have when we happen to have one. Good you can sync with your cameras to see who is at the door and can talk through the doorbell. Visitors can also leave a message it they wanted to.

This is the 2nd Arlo doorbell I bought and Performance wise, I’m happy with it but I’m giving it 3 stars because the batteries last only 1 week.

This doorbell is pretty cool. Once someone pushes it, my phone rings as if someone is calling me. The features are a bit confusing in the app but after some trial and error I was able to fix it to the way I wanted it. I hope Arlo makes a doorbell that has a camera built-in eventually.

I set up doorbells at the front and back door. It was easy to set up now when the doorbell rings I can look and see who's there from my phone. It can also be set up with other devices so you can share with other people living with you

We purchased the Arlo Doorbell to add to our other Arlo products and it was very easy to setup. It works great and we don't get any false alerts. You should consider it when thinking about replacing your original doorbell.

I like the fact that it calls my phone and I have a camera at the door so that I can see who’s there but communications are hard to hear by me and the people at the door.

The person at the door cannot hear me. They literally have to have their ear next to the doorbell in order to hear me. Secondly, it is so cumbersome to answer the doorbell via iPhone. There are several steps you have to take before getting to the video. By the time you finally get to the video, the person is gone. Not what I was expecting!

Poor battery life, Poor voice quality. Feels cheap. I understand the need to integrate with the Arlo cameras, but the camera integrated into the doorbell is a better design. It should be designed to use the chime transformer (not batteries). Base to doorbell strength (or weakness) will determine the duration of your batteries

The installation was a little tricky and it was no where in the packaging about pre existing chime boxes needing to already be in before buying this product however the product it’s self is good

It requires two pieces for it to work flawlessly. But if you ok you just need a device to alert you when motion is detected at your front porch this will work great

This senses motion when people are near the door and it will notify you within the app. I was upset that it didn’t have a camera on the doorbell itself but we linked it with a camera and it works great

We have a 100 year old historical home that does not have wiring for a doorbell. This is why we went with Arlo wireless cameras for ease of setting up and not having to run power. We looked at the Nest but this requires power and the Ring which offers a wireless option, but became very excited when this came out b/c we have already invested in the Arlo Ecosystem with wireless cameras with 2 way speakers and the security lights. This doorbell doesn't have a camera but it does have an intercom and you can pair it with an arlo camera (We paired with the one at the front door obviously) and as soon as someone rings the doorbell it engages that camera and begins recording but also acts as your "video" feature for the doorbell. Best of both worlds!

Love having this with my Arlo camera system. It’s really the missing component that separates the competition, and with the added ability of using a camera not directly on the doorbell, you get a much better view.

Along with the Arlo cameras when someone rings the Arlo doorbell, I and the others on my account get a phone call with video and we can see and talk with people at our door. Just what I was looking for!!

I see this as a great tool to help me protect my family and home and assist me with helping my fellow neighbors by keeping an eye on their property all hours of the day and night. I feel more secure in my home now.

I read the reviews prior to getting this doorbell, so I knew exactly what I was getting. Was easy to set up and pair with my 3 camera system. There is a little lag, but works as advertised. I have it hardwired.
