It does what I expected it do. Easy to install. Instructions were easy to follow. Good quality video. Easy to manage from your phone once you get the hang of all the features. Would recommend getting it.

The camera was easy and quick to setup, the spotlight and color night vision is much better than our older model cameras. Our old cameras had great battery life, with the larger battery we should be able to go almost a year without charging them. I am very happy with the performance of all of our Arlo products.

Great picture. Clear. Placement at the corner of my home is able to clearly show my entire backyard which is fairly big. Able to view camera view from iPhone and Google hub.

Seems to give a great picture and enough light to see in a 12 x 12 foot stall at night. I had no trouble hooking it up and camera came with a nice mounting stand

Simple setup, very easy to use. I had the camera set up and ready to go in only a few minutes. Mounted to second floor overlooking my driveway. Great picture, gets all of my driveway and out into the street. Night vision is much better than Nest. Already thinking about adding another camera. Great product!!!

I love the camera. You can change the settings to view what you want on your camera . The camera picture extends almost down my street ! The picture quality is great as well. Also sends alerts instantly to your phone . You can even contact police with camera for urgent situations. Would recommend

I have been using the essentials for over a year now and they have been great. I received notice that the Essential XL Spotlight was on sale so I decided to give it a try, and WOW I wish I had done it sooner. The battery life is incredible. I have since ordered two more, very happy with the new XL spotlight.

I put up four Essential XLs and a Doorbell. 3 of the XLs with Solar Panels. It all seems to work well, though it would be better with local storage (like an SD card in each camera) but you have to use cloud. And since you have to use cloud the 3 month Smart trial is quite helpful. Unfortunately one of my XLs didnt offer the trial even though the box said it was included. I chatted with support and got a case number, but no solution to the "no trial" problem.

Essential XL Spotlight Camera has great battery life as well as quality video clips when alerted to movement very easy to install and straight forward to setup in app. The delay from the camera to the app is 4-5 seconds on average with very good signal to my wifi
