Great product. Good location flexibility due to year long batteries

This camera is a very nice looking device along with many features that make it easy to view footage and very easy installation and setup! I will definitely buy more and recommend to a friend!

I upgraded from an old Arlo Pro cam, the battery life is much better. I miss the removable battery that allowed me to swap batteries, now I need to run the power cord to the camera and leave it in place.

We purchased to take place of an original set we had. We also ordered the ultra XL set to go with it. Excellent picture and video quality. I am monitoring the battery life to see if better then the old ones we had.

I already had 2 Arlo Pros and Hub. I needed another view of the property. I wanted the view to be high and wide. The Essential provided the easy install I like, with a long lasting battery life I needed. I have a solar panel on the other Arlo’s but I think this is good as is. The added benefit of a LED lamp is pretty cool!

Great so far, much better then the over priced nest products that I could never seem to get to stay connected. Also the Google home app is horrible for cameras.

This camera was very easy to add to my current arlo. Very clear, sound is loud and clear and I love the spotlight. Definitely a great buy

I have had the Arlo essentials XL camera up and working for two weeks and have been thoroughly impressed! I struggle to find a flaw with the camera. The set up was very easy. The provided mounts were more than adequate to give any angle or setup configuration and required nothing more than a screwdriver. Although only in 2K video quality, with all the added features in the app, this camera produces great footage. I will be adding the Ultra cameras, with 4K quality very soon, and don’t doubt to be more than happy! As the Essential model has exceeded my expectations.

I upgraded my arlo 1st gen cameras to the Essentials XL and WOW! What a difference. Love the spotlight and color vision at night. Motion detection is definitely a huge improvement!

I have 3 Arlo cameras at home and was looking to add a 4th one. Wanted to give the essential XL a try m, as my front yard has more activities vs other areas, and I have to charge my current Arlo 2 battery pretty often. The essential XL did have an improved picture quality vs the old arlo’s, and better sound detection, even though it’s the same 1080p. Also like the night vision in color. No issues with the subscription as my old one needs that (to filter out vehicles) as well. Only complain is it’s not connected to my current hub (it requires a newer model)

Got this camera to watch our front yard from any mischievous people around the neighborhood. Notifies you of specific motions such as vehicles and people when you arm it.

Put into our backyard to light up an area if there is movement. Has an incredibly clear view with color , sound and spotlight if needed. Took us very little time to set up and connect into our existing Arlo camera system.

his is a great battery operated camera, my only problem was weak wifi signals since we don't have fiber in my neighborhood. I love the smart notifications. It makes me feel safer in my home. Just wish the Smart Plans weren't so expensive.

Setup was quite easy. The only problem I hadWas that setup did not give me a choice toSelect WI-FI. It automatically connected to the Arlo base station.

The camera was delivered on time, frustration free packaging with clear instructions. I added the camera to my existing base hub so cannot comment on the Wi-Fi setup. The installation was easy and I was up and running with it quickly.
