Returned it to BestBuy and bought a newer model Arlo 3.

Dont be fooled by the base station! I wanted to upgrade my base station so I could take advantage of devices that were added to Apple Homekit. Unfortunately this is not compatible.

Terrible camera When it has worked - has not worked for more than 2 weeks and have a solar panel in place. Constantly stays offline Would not recommend this product

Expensive for the imaging they produce. Even with night vision when we tested prob wouldn’t be able to recognize a stranger unless they looked right at the camera with no hat on.

I own an apartment building that I recently moved into. I bought this camera to watch my front door and my garage. This camera doesn't record everything. There are gaps in the footage because it doesn't detect movement very well. This camera also doesn't show a clear picture at night.

Needed to buy/ subscribe to their service to utilize all features

GEEK SQUAD installed camera and solar panel. Both items are not working. I called a ARLO There is case # for when BEST BUY opens

The battery charger and the cable to connect the camera were broken since we bought them. 7 months later ARLO never replaced the broken elements. I created 5 Cases with them. Nothing Happen. There are better options in the market now.

Product did not last long outside. It then scrambled video recording with not being able to fix..junk

These cameras + hub are great! We currently have the indoors to monitor our pups while we're gone. Love that we can both hear & talk to them through these!

I bought this product because it was a slim (about 1" wide) wireless camera. Upon opening the box and trying to set it up, I discovered several facts that aren't mentioned on the box: 1. You can't use the camera without a base station that is hard-wired to a wireless router that has an Internet connection. You can't change the IP address on the base station, which means I couldn't use the camera in my environment (which uses static IP addresses for security reasons). 2. You can't stream video without agreeing to a subscription to a web-based service that costs at least $10 per month. 3. You can't stream directly to a smart TV or even to a PC. You have to view the camera on a smart phone. 4. The video doesn't stream at all in any meaningful sense. The camera takes a series of still pictures and transmits them to the base station, thence to an app running on your smart phone. 5. The camera doesn't even start "streaming" until it detects motion.

The app time load up time to view your live feed is about 20 -30 second. God forbid there’s an emergency. When it comes to toddlers or infants, I expect instant load times. This was a waste of money. I would never rcmd this to anyone. Avoid arlo, this camera stopped focusing after a year. Product support said they’d send me a new unit to replace it in 48 hours. It’s been a week. What a joke.

worst camera Arlo Q. Good luck keeping it online. And if your looking for support forget about it. I have friends that bought several Arlos with base station and they are having nothing but trouble. thankfully I only bought one then my wife surprised me with 4 Ring cams. RING— haven’t had any problems
