This camera system has delivered on all points. The reliability, video quality, and especially the battery life. We used the magnetic mounts and they work great. The base station is in a central location on 2nd level of house and we have had zero connectivity issues. The app is pretty user-friendly and easy to use. Very pleased with Arlo.

I’ve tried a lot of Security Camera Systems and this one is very easy to setup and has great picture quality! Even if you zoom in, you have minimum distortion in the quality of your video. If you decide to buy Arlo, get the Arlo Go or Arlo Pro, because these have rechargeable battery packs in them, whereas Arlo needs 4 tiny C Batteries which gets expensive over the long run.

System set up was fairly simple, camera quality is good, sometimes there is a slight lag connecting to the camera. The reviews were pretty accurate so we knew what to expect. For our purpose this works well.

Easy to install, the internet setup took some time to properly work. Love the clarity and voice features. Sensitivity takes some adjusting, one camera is near a tree and sets off too often. Had to get more Data Streaming for cell phone.

Setup is super easy. Camera quality is great. 1 of 4 cameras frizzed out in less than month. Night vision on 1 camera only works part of time. Software seems confused. Great system of cameras/software were more reliable.

Good camera's easy to set up and like the app that notifies you on your mobile device. The only draw back is there is a couple min delay from the activity and when you see it. But over all happy with the purchase.

Really like the cameras. Picture quality is good. Easy to install inside or outside. Only issue is there are trees around that cause constant motion detection so the notifications are non-stop and drains the battery really quickly.

This is the easiest and most effective do-it-yourself camera security system available. Extremely easy to install and use. I can monitor my house anytime and anywhere.

Picture quality is good, not great. Not great at night. I love the magnet attachment so no need to drill holes or screws.Just find something metal and it's in play. Battery life isn't the best or worst.

This is the first time I ever purchased a security camera system. The set up and installation is very easy, and the app is very easy to use. Some of the reasons why I like the Arlo Pro 2 are the picture is very clear even when the night vision is turn on. The cameras themselves are very light. I also like the fact you don't have to pay for cloud coverage. The reason for not giving the full 5 stars is that I have about a 5 seconds delay time on my live feed. I hope netgear can somehow fix that. Other than that, the system is great. I would purchase this system again and had recommended friends to buy this system.

My problem was that it picked up every motion. I live in a row home and could not place my camera where it would only pick up my front steps. Too many notifications.

I bought the 4 pack for home security outside and so far so good. About 1 month of use and picture quality is good, night vision is good. Easy setup. I just wish there was an option to record all the time on them without a subscription. For the price ( on sale) and popularity, definitely worth it. Especially when you dont have to run any wires.

Clear picture and easy to install. Decent range for camera to hub. I use 3 cameras on rotation and one on charger. battery lasts about 3 weeks, depending on motion activation. Easy to use app for remote viewing. Make sure to install so you can easilly access it, but not easily reached by others as it is easy to pop it off the mount.

Very easy to use and set up that even my girlfriend can use it! Out of the two of us I am the tech genius. I bought this for her and it ended up being so much easier to use and so much more robust that my high end Google/Nest cameras. Image quality is good for a 1080p system. Low light performance is quite adequate as well.

    Security for my Bee Yard

I keep a honey bee apiary (bee yard) right behind my garage and I needed a surveillance system that could be both motion-activated or viewed in real-time so I could deal with conditions such as swarming or skunks or bears raiding the bees. The Arlo Pro-2 cameras have proven to be invaluable and have provided the video information I needed to plan for and deal with varmints. I also enjoy using a USB-3 Thumb Drive which is plugged into the back of the system for a local backup of video files. The audio is also surprisingly good! I can even hear the crickets when the volume is turned up. Another great feature I enjoy is that the cameras can focus very close up. I have two of the cameras directed at bee landing boards and this gives me very close up information about robbing from other bees, or raids from yellow jacket wasps. Fantastic tools that have not let me down. I have had them out and in service for a week and have had one battery go down requiring charging. The other three cameras are at 40-50%. IMPROVEMENTS I'd like to see would be if I could disconnect from the internet/network and simply have the base station write exclusively to the USB-Drives/ports without using up any bandwidth. I definitely recommend the Arlo Pro 2 system and am very pleased.

Takes quite a bit of light for the video to show in color, the setup of the schedule was very hard, there web site sinks for explanation, but don't worry someone has posted a very good YouTube video that explains. How to schedule each individual camera. I think the quality is Ok but I'm seen better, ex. Amcrest. The infra red lights need to be increased for better night vision
