This is a great product and served me well. However I moved and upgraded to arlo pro 3. For your money nowadays i would go with arlo pro 3. Unfortunately arlo got rid of the free subscription option so now no matter what product you get you have to pay for subscription which used to be a nice perk of their older products.

Love that you don’t have to buy a subscription to use the cameras. They work great, however our front camera doesn’t get the people walking straight at it. It’s better at getting side to side motion than straight on motion.

Purchased two 4 camera Pro 2 sets for my home. Initial set up is easy. Takes a little time placing cameras and ensuring coverage and motion detection. The picture is clear and zoom effective. Sometimes camera will activate for no apparent reason. Not sure about battery life as they've only been on for about a month. A little on the expensive side but feel it's worth it.

I installed these 4 cameras myself. They are very easy and came with mounting plate. In addition to the high definitions and clear videos, the magnetic method is easy to use and adjust so you can get the best position for monitoring the spaces you want. I was recommending my friend and neighbors to buy this set from Best Buy if they can keep the low price.

We are so happy with this purchase. We love the quality of the cameras. They were easy to set up both physically and with our router and the Arlo app. We took some time to adjust each of the 4 cameras to cover the area that we were most interested in. We are better informed of what is occurring around our home. We'd definitely purchase them again.

IT HAD GOOD QUALITY PICTURE AND EASY INSTALLATION (PHYSICAL) BUT KEEPING BATTERIES CHARGED CAN BE A PROBLEM. I NEEDED HELP ACTIVATING THE SYSTEM FROM MY NEIGHBOR.

By following the simple step-by-step instructions, the setup went flawlessly. The base unit synched up to my home network and all six cameras synchronized with the base the very first time. I gave a definite downgrade for the user interface being less than intuitive and needing to spend hours trying to figure out how to upgrade my subscription so I could have 6 cameras. I did call customer support to ask if there were any promo codes. There were not any at the time and they were very friendly. Now that they are installed, they appear to be alerting flawlessly. They have outstanding picture and sound quality. The microphone function works. I can’t wait to connect this to my FireTV and see the cameras on my TV. Everything looks great on my smartphone. I am still learning, but so far would recommend this product!

Purchased and used the arlo pro 2 system with 2 cameras for just about a month and was so surprised at the ease it was to setup and get it going. Then realized all the other places I could put a camera, so I purchased 2 more lol. The battery life is pretty good depending on the settings you set it on, but I have mines setup on the highest sensitivity and only charged it once since I've gotten it. I suggest having it plugged in so you have more options, or I think there's a plan you could purchase for more options. I also purchased the security wall mounts for outside so it wouldn't be easy for someone to just snatch it off the magnet mounts it comes with. The only downfall for me is the arlo app, it's easy to use but it has its issues. But I love knowing my home is secured at all times.

pros-it records in good quality, easy set up, can view on phone from app, you can add more cameras, weather resistant. Cons-while on armed you will get notifications for everything that passes by the camera if you want only important notification alerts it's a monthly fee If you have your cameras on wifi & they're on the armed setting it will drain much quicker than if they weren't which would cause you to have to charge the batteries more often, it won't add the doorbell camera to the existing camera views to check them simultaneously.

Great camera overall. Easy to set up and link to phone. Like the magnetic mount. Sadly, battery doesn't last long. Also, the notifications are constant even if you put in specs on app. Great camera for beginners.

I connected the two high definition cameras in front of my home. The cameras work great and give a good picture even when it is dark out. The only problem with the camera is the amount of notification. Using the battery you can't limit the area of the camera so you get too many notices. If you hook them up to an electric outlet them you can limit the notice area.

Well, in answer to the title, this system set-up is so easy. Anyone can do it. The cameras show great quality video & they are completely wireless. They just have to be charged occasionally. I have used different brands in the past, but the Arlo-Pro 2 is far superior and the app works flawlessly! Go for it - it is a great system for your home!

This is my second purchase of the ARLO System. I purchased a system 2 years ago for another home. Because it is such a reliable and user friendly system, I purchased this system for my second home. They are more reasonably priced now as well. Set- up in minutes. I love that this camera system has audio and you can speak through the system as well.

It does everything it promises, though I recommend you be careful about noting the differences between what it does plugged in vs. wireless. My main complaint is that if you have this in a high-traffic area, it loses batteries very quickly. One of my cameras set up so that it sees part of the road in front of my house lasted about 2 weeks, and the one at my front door is just about out of batteries after a little over a month. My other cameras that are in less active areas still have most of their battery remaining, however. It's relatively intuitive to set up, and the app and website are both easy to use. However, you can only log in from one device at a time, so if you have multiple people that will be using the cameras, you'll need to set up multiple logins, which is not difficult.

We have Arlo for our current office and needed one for our new one in Charleston SC. So we got the Arlo Pro. The quality is unbelievable. It’s so clear.

Super easy to install. Great picture quality. Get motion notifications instantly. Super easy to install. Have to charge batteries once every 2-3 weeks.

I looked for a home security camera setup for months, and decided to go with this one at a great low price. This model offers free seven day storage, and the camera quality is great at 1080p. The iPhone app works great as well. Battery uses about 50% of power in about one month. I haven’t let them discharge any lower than that.

It's way better than the piece of crap blink camera I had...I wish the battery life was a bit longer..but to charge it once a month is not a big deal.. it's easy to install and works better
