Received this product as a gift. I installed one camera at the front and one at the back. I was worried about the distance of each camera from the small console. Each over 500 ft. I was pleasantly surprised. No issues. Video wuality is great and batteries last as advertised.

Love the cameras and the ease of install and setup. The app and instructions leave a little to be desired. I am still trying to fine tune everything but the system is working as advertised. The resolution is very good and features seem ample. Basic setup was a breeze and I had it up in running in just a few minutes. My only complaint is in the “tuning” of the alerts. I can’t seem to make It do what I want and the app isn’t very helpful around the alert features. I am sure I will figure it out over time. Battery life seems very good and charging the batteries is quick and easy. All in all I give it 4 stars only because I feel the app could be more user friendly. Great system. Recommended.

We love these cameras. Super easy to install and love that we are able to buy “skins” to help blend the cameras into our decor. Great picture and the recording playback feature is awesome!

Very simple to hook up this unit, the wireless is nice but if you live in a cold climate you have to recharge your units frequently. So go the extra step and get some power chords for them.

I bought these cameras and was able to set up and start using them immediately. The picture quality is great. I think I will buy more cameras, since they are super easy to install. They have a strong magnet in the camera that can stick to any metal service, making the super easy to put ANYWHERE!

The cameras were easy to install. I am disappointed with how they function. I set up cameras in most rooms when my mom with Alzheimer's move in. We set the alerts for activity and sound in her bedroom at night. During the day it alerts reliably, at night when we need to know if she's out of bed or calling for help it doesn't alert until she's out of the room. The sensitivity settings are unreliable. We ordered the power cords because the batteries run down too quickly in our busy house.

Bought my original system in March 2019 and it has worked spectacularly!! It worked so well I bought additional cameraS and when this 4 camera system went on sale I bought it as well. Easy to set up and use, very customizable, excellent videos and great camera wide angle features to include night mode.

The camera quality is quite good during the day and night. Our main issue with them is that the motion detection is activated by wind blowing our plants when the sun is reflecting off of them. At first this was a major problem as one battery depleted in one week. After fully charging the battery, it is on pace to last about six weeks even with the plants setting off the motion detection about 30 times a day on sunny days. If you are planning to use the cameras in areas that don’t have sun reflecting plants that move a lot due to wind, then I would recommend the camera. The most we ever leave the house is four weeks at a time so the batteries will work for us.

Love this outdoor security camera. Does get a bit foggy on damp nights but overall works great. Easy install. App is pretty good too. No monthly fees that are required. Just what I was looking for.

Arlo cameras. Video quality fairly good for these two cameras. We had to move our flag as a windy day created a video recording each time the flag rippled into the camera line of sight. Arlo support not that easy to use and our cameras consistently stopped recording at night, the time we need recording the most with mail the fit and auto breaking in our neighborhood. Even purchased Arlo 24/7 recording at $15/month and discontinued after we couldn’t resolve the non recording time issue despite visiting help and community support. Great product, lackluster support.

These cameras are great right out of the box. You will need to plan on buying some of the accessories though. Pic quality is very good, setup was easy, and they have a nice sleek look to them. My only complaint would be that even thought the ball mounts work, you can’t always get the angle you want with them.

We love our new Arlo Pro 2 camera system. No wire required and minimal mounting setup. We purchased the 4 camera setup and cover everything I could think of outside our 3000 Sq ft home. The charging doesn't take long and isn't as much of a pain as I was thinking it would be. Picture is HD quality and the sound is great too.

Although somewhat costly for both the cameras and the annual service, the flexibility and ease of use make this an excellent security option. The 4 cameras can be moved around or fix mounted. Apps provide smart phone connection to the live video or the video history. Many security tailoring options are available.

Main points: -SUPER Easy to use -cheap in the long run -worth the price (and resale value) -only way it's affordable is to buy in bundle -the alarm on this base is ridiculously weak. It sounds like when your phone rings but you are sitting on it This was the second bundle I bought! I originally bought a 2 camera pack that came with the base station. I was looking to buy additional cameras but they were too expensive, so instead I bought this new bundle and gifted the base and 2 cameras to my mother and kept 2 cameras, and believe it or not that was cheaper than me just buyin the 2 seperate cameras with their little stand kit.

I recently upgraded from arlo pro to the arlo pro 2.I had 2 year warranty plan with Best Buy and loved the fact that I was able to upgrade to newer set after 2 years.So far the daytime video is better at 1080.Set up was still simple.Arlo is still one of the best wireless cameras if you cannot use a hardwired system.

Over all the product is good. My camera at my back door needs to be recharged every six days, and after a month I have not had to recharge my front camera. For some reason the camera at my back door picks up a ton of motion even with the sensitivity turned way down. Incorrectly notified when there is a person or an animal, but the motion sensor is almost always on during the day which drains the battery. Other than that, we are pleased.

We purchased this a year ago and have to say that we are still loving it! The set up was easy and picture quality is good regardless of time of day. We recently purchased the Arlo essential cameras, and that set up was much more time consuming. Highly recommend the Arlo 2!

I purchased this unit to replace another system that I have had for a couple of years but has become unreliable. I had looked at Arlo before, but the cost was higher than I wanted to pay at that time. Pros: Easy initial setup - This set was easy to set up. Out of the bok, batteries installed, powered up, firmware updates install and ready to go in under an hour. Modes setup - This is a cross between pro and con. Setting up modes at first was a little harder to understand, but once I got used to the interface, and after playing around with it, setting up a mode is a breeze. Video - The video is mostly clear. The ability to pinch to zoom in is good, but you do lose clarity the farther you zoom in. Cons: Long-range video - I have a camera that is at the top of my garage which is pointed down my 75-foot driveway. The image for the end of the driveway is not the greatest. I would not be able to identify anyone standing or walking up the driveway. Motion detection - Motion detection is only for about 20-30 feet at best. The motion detection is not a change in picture, but an actual old fashioned motion sensor built-in. Detection works well within that range, but farther away, nope. You can get around this by triggering a different camera for an area and having 2 cameras recording, but then you have 2 cameras covering the same area. HomeKit integration - Arlo put out a press release saying that they would have HomeKit integration for their Pro2 and Ultra cameras by the end of the first quarter of 2019. We are almost at the end of the 2nd quarter and still no HomeKit integration, and no further communication from Arlo. This is one of the big reasons why I purchased this kit. I am disappointed in the lack of communication and still hold out hope that the integration will come soon. Website live view - Arlo's website uses FLASH for the live view when viewing through a browser. Totally unacceptable. Yes, I have more cons than pros, so why do I rate this system at 4 stars? Because the good still outweighs the bad, and there is hope that some of the bad can be fixed, which would make this a lot better system than most.

I was looking for a security system for my home. It is an old townhome, and running cables in this house is very difficult to impossible, depending on the location. A friend has this system in his house and gave me a demo using his smartphone app. I was amazed at the quality of the video, and the fact that the batteries last so long. I bought the 4-camera 1080p system. The system came with 1 outside mount and 4 magnet mounts. I purchased 2 additional outside mounts for the 3 cameras exposed to wind and people. The mounts are rugged and hold the cameras securely, even in windy conditions. The camera in an enclosed and covered patio was mounted with the magnetic mounts. That install was super easy. The daytime video image is outstanding. it is very clear, and zooming in continues to be very clear. The night-vision is also very clear. I did have trouble with 1 camera with night vision because I mounted to close to the eave and the eave was reflecting the IR back in the camera. The next day I relocated the camera down 2", and the next night the image was very clear. Setup was very easy, but there was one confusing part. When the hub was doing updates, it appeared that it was hung up when in fact it was only rebooting itself. So if the hub needs to be updated (which is completely automatic), just leave it alone and let it do its thing. Of course, in all fairness, if I had read the instructions, I would have been able to tell what was going on with the LEDs. The smartphone app is very intuitive and gives you complete control of your system. Unlike some reviews I have read, the app does not drain my smartphone any quicker than any other apps. I use my phone heavily, and usually, have 15 hour days during the week, and I get the same battery usage with this app as I did before installing it. The app is also very responsive, and the camera delay is much smaller than other camera apps I have used in the past. For the one reviewer that has bad night-vision; I would suggest relocating or replacing that camera. I see the image you posted, and it is not the same quality I am getting. It could be a bad camera, or it could be the two lights in the room. I would be curious to see the image if those lights were off. I did look at other systems, especially the Nest and the Ring. The ring was a bit too bulky for me, and not having any free cloud space was a downside. I already have a few Nest components, so I looked at that cameras a well. However, it is a wired-only solution, so it wouldn't work for me. I love my Arlo system; for me it was definitely the right choice. I highly recommend this camera system for a home. It might not be the right solution for a business though depending on your needs. At my business, we needed on-site NVR, cloud storage in case the NVR is stolen, 16 cameras with PTZ, 1080P with night vision, and a constant video stream. But for my home, I couldn't be happier.

Very good system, easy to install. We got this to keep an eye on things when we are not home and to see what is going on inside the house and outside the house when we are as well. I can only think of two problems with the system right off and that is only one person can be logged in viewing either live or past video. If someone else logs in it will kick you out. The only other problem is when sometimes I go to talk to someone that I see in the live video and I click on the Microphone button to talk to them and it about 10-20 percent of the time wont work. Other than that I love this system.
