We wanted a camera for outside our home but had a few requirements: Easy to set up, excellent quality, motion notification, two way speakers, and free online videos. I expressed this to the guy at Best But and he highly recommended this. I agree! Great product.

These cameras are great. The pictures are pretty clear. The only thing I don't like is the batteries on last a few weeks!

Easy setup. Very clear images, except one of four cameras washes out and needs to be replaced.

I've been using them for about a week and they work how they said they would. Good make, easy set up and do what a camera should.

The cameras are easy to setup and install and the picture is great, both in daylight and darkness. Audio alarm is not currently working. This is apparently a known issue that is the result of the latest firmware release, but no known fix date has been issued. Also have issues with phone app working consistently, especially on the Andriod. This, too, has been a known issue for a while, with no resolution in sight.

Easy to install and easy to control. Must have internet to get live viewing, and to upload data to the cloud service. Video stays online for a week only, buts free service so can't complain. You can also just plug in a usb or external hard drive to the main console and it save video For longer periods of time. Only draw back is that battery doesn't last as long as it claims but on average for myself i have to recharge the batteries every 5-7weeks. Everything else that it claims in the description, does seem to be true. I would really this because it was easy to install, and no wires to the camera. Just an ethernet cable you connect from the main console to your home router, and a power supply cable from an outlet to the main console. Took me about 20-30 minutes to install with the app telling me exactly what to do.

Everything was simple to set up and fairly quick too. Picture clarity is awesome and motion sensors work pretty well (occasionally get an alert for a tree blowing in the breeze). Battery life seems like it will hold up well. Would definitely recommend!

I have limited experience with these video systems, but I have to say this system was so easy to set up, has so many options, connects to my SmartThings hub, and is also smart in its own ways. Highly recommended for a starter like myself. Great app too.

works great the install is very easy and the cameras pick up a nice wide angle that sees a lot the mic is nice to.

Love the Arlo company, I used to work for Best Buy a few years back and I would only sell Arlo to customers because of the quality that these cameras have. The picture is great and they batteries live for about 3 weeks until they need to be charged again(or longer depending on how long the cameras are being activated by motion/recording). My one down side to these is that the audio lags a lot so if you’re trying to talk to someone it’ll be some time. Great cameras though, they’re worth the buy.

These cameras were quite easy to setup. The box plugs into your router and you sync the cameras pretty easily and you're done. The app on your phone updates the base station and the cameras for you and then you're ready to go! Took maybe 20 minutes start to finish to have them all set up and receive video on my phone. The wall mounts included are very nice. They're pretty small and they just magnetically connect to the back of the cameras. The magnets are REALLY strong so once you get them in place, you shouldn't have to worry about them moving at all. You can also use a standard camera mount to screw them into. Battery life is pretty ok. On the best quality, lowest battery life setting, I got few days of battery. Dropping the quality to the more optimized settings seems to help quite a bit too. I prefer to plug in my cameras so I don't have to worry about them at all. This is where one of the downsides come in. The micro USB plug is buried in a pretty deep hole so you need to get a cable with a very small profile plug or it won't fit. I bought some really long cables and had to send them back because they didn't fit. Video quality is good indoors. The night vision is pretty nice but the infrared lights are noticeable. It was actually an issue with our cat who wanted to attach the camera because of the lights when it was dark. So mount your camera high instead of putting it on a fireplace mantle! The app gives you options to automatically record when it detects motion or audio and you can either record for the amount of time that is detected or from 10-300 seconds. If you are unable to mount your camera outside, you probably won't have a lot of luck viewing your outdoors. The camera automatically focuses on the screen and motion detection doesn't work at all when it's viewing through the screen. Night vision doesn't work at all when pointing at glass for obvious reasons so if you need to watch your outside, you should just mount the camera outside. I can't comment too much on the monthly costs as I'm using the free tier plan. I believe I get 2 weeks of recording storage. Not a whole lot more. They have larger tiers that allow for more recording storage. They also have "CVR" plans that do some continuous recording that you can scrub through on your app. That costs at least $100/yr for 2 weeks of CVR recording per camera. I don't think that's crazy so it might be good for you. I wish there was an option like the Logi Circle where you get 1 day of CVR for free. Overall, a good set of cameras that have a couple of drawbacks that may or may not matter to you.

Great product for the cost. Simple to setup and manage. Wish I could manage notifications a little better. Sensitive software could improved.

I really like the Pro2. The picture is great and the battery has a long life. The only down side for me is, there is a long delay when trying to talk through the camera from your app and I wish they would combine the schedule feature and geofencing It's a pain manually switching through the warming features. Other than that, I really love the cameras and system. I didnt know it before buying my system, but my brother had the same system and really likes it. My parents bought the 4 Pro2 system a couple weeks after I bought mine.

I didn't want to run cables to the outside while putting holes across doorways and this Arlo package seemed to be a good fit. The reviews were on point, wow the picture quality is amazing. Ability to select areas to monitor for motion allows more accurate motion triggered events. For example if you are directing the camera to a road where cars are constantly moving but want to trigger when someone enters a walkway you can! Not sure how but the package thieves must have seen me install this, because after the install not a single package have been stolen. This camera was installed under a small covering angled downward with no cables/visible signs of an install. Battery lasts a long time and picture/audio quality plus the 7-day free cloud storage is awesome! no question I would recommend this to anyone looking for a quick security fix!

The picture quality is great. The built in motion and sound detection works well. The only reason I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars is that, even with our back porch light on, at night the camera doesn't seem to pick up a good picture, it needs full lighting if you want to capture a clear image. The heat sensor and sound sensor will still turn the camera record function on, but you will only hear something moving around but won't get a clear image because things are too dark without enough light for the camera.

These are good cameras good quality HD the only thing ia if you live in a high traffic area the sensitivity is going to become so annoying....

I love the wireless option but unfortunately batteries won’t last long. That’s why I purchase 4 additional outdoor power cables. Video and audio quality amazing. Make sure have high speed internet service in your house.

Easy to set up and use but they are kind of sensitive to movement and not enough adjustments for that sensitivity.

The unit was very easy to set up and install. The best quality that I have seen to date and the range is fantastic. Only fault is that your account is not immediately available on the customer support website. I will reccomend this to may friends and family.
