My cameras battery dies every week. It’s ridiculous i have to charge this thing once a week. Originally i was going to go with the wired nest outdoor cam but returned it for this one before i even tried it out. The camera quality is good but the battery is terrible. Also if you have to set a siren off Incase of an intruder, the siren doesn’t go off on the camera itself, only the base unit which is likely to be in your house some where. I’m not really sure of the point of that. Overall I’m not impressed with Arlo at all and I’m pretty disappointed i paid more money for this product.

I like the clarity of these cameras and sound quality is good too. Would have given 5 stars, but the motion detection doesn't work through my windows with the camera mounted inside. Other than that, these are great little cameras for home monitoring, inside and out.

As easy to set up as an amazon alexa. Battery life typically lasts 3-4 weeks with average amount of recordings. High traffic areas may experience 3 week lifespan. Decent quality picture, but don't expect 1080p HD video- It's just not that quality despite the name. Close ups nd zoom ins become grainy but wide views are very decent in right conditions. App is great as well.

Quality of picture is great. I was really surprised at how easy the cameras were to install.

Cameras at 1020 are detailed, night vision clear, sound ok but very useable

I've had a wired camera system on my home for years and it started giving my problems so I looked into the different wireless cameras available. I liked the features and a friend of mine recommended the system to me. Very easy to set up and use. I did add on the solar charging panel to one of my cameras as the location is a pain to change out the battery when it needs a charge.

Very easy to set up and hang. The image quality and night vision is great.

We love Arlo Cameras for security purposes outside our house. The only reason I'll give this a 4 star is because a battery broke down in 6 months. I will be connecting with customer service on this issue.

Being able to see and hear what is going on when we are not home is great. I feel better about leaving our house when we are on vacation. When it is pitch black outside, it is sometimes hard to see what the movement is. Sound quality is okay, not great.

The cameras have very clear video. They work both well in light and dark. Battery life is good. The porch camera battery lasted about 2.5 months for normal use with the settings we had. The notifications work well and customizable. I will say there is a slight delay in the live view sometimes. Overall we are very happy with the system and the fact that It saves some video footage for free.

We placed these cameras to find out who was on our property. While it caught the movements, the camera shot was a bit scratchy and small. Set up and operation is fairly simple and it does well in meeting our expectations for a security system.

Installed these battery free at first to try. Then loved it. Then bought 10 ft. usb power cords to wire up the system. Still using today and it works great. Wish that the newer models had free cloud storage for 7 days like this one. Until then I will stick with these as long as possible because they do have free cloud storage for 7 days.

The new base station and Arlo Pro2 are great. It integrates well with the older Arlo cameras I have and, most importantly, the system recovers well from wi-fi interrupts which are much too common with Xfinity. Now, if there is an interruption, the system recovers and I don't have to go around resynching individual cameras each time. The 1080p image of the Arlo Pro2 camera is more than sufficient for my needs.

Great picture quality very easy to set up. No fee to view feeds from the cameras.

I moved to a very rural area and wanted a heads up when someone was coming. These cameras surround our house. I get a notice when there's activity they work great! I really like watching all the wild life we have. I wouldn't have guessed there was so much, it's very interesting. The batteries last quite a while and charge very quickly. I wish I had more.. btw the picture is very good.

This is a good camera system. My only complaint is that the motion alerts do not work through a window. If you want to monitor outdoors, the cameras will need to be placed outdoors in order for the motion sensors to operate correctly.

Cameras were very easy to install and operate once the AP had been downloaded. Resolution is as advertised and night vision is okay. Microphones are fairly sensitive and the ability to communicate through the cameras is definitely a plus.
