The cameras are a neat piece of technology but the picture really isn't that clear for being 1080. To use the camera to its full potential you really should have it plugged in, which defeats having a wireless camera. The cameras are cool because they are easy to move and are easy to hook up but the battery life is maybe 2 months. That is having the camera on proper like with motion detection on, because if I knew when something crazy was gonna happen I would not need a camera right!

Recently installed Pro 2 system. Easy set up overall, but one of the cameras did not work. No motion detection. Went to Arlo service, waited 20 mins for chat. Finally got through, 5 mins in their chat disconnected. Tried again the next night. Spent 30 mins with rep trying to diagnose the issue. Eventually agreed it was defective out of the box and would send an email with return instructions. Got email, said I NEEDED TO PAY TO SEND BACK THE DEFECTIVE PRODUCT. Frustrated, went back to chat. 15 mins later he told me they would waive the fee, but I needed to call the service center not go through chat. So called the service center. Rep asked me to hold so he could review my case. 18 minutes later he still hadn't come back so I hung up. Extremely frustrated. Even in a COVID situation, this is just a terrible experience. Too bad since otherwise seems like a great product. Still waiting for a response to my last email....

I expected more from these cameras. The hub and the app always disconnect. At first the batteries seem to last quite a while a month later the battery juice doesn’t seem to hold up. The cameras don’t record until night time Throughout the morning. The cameras have a lag when trying to connect the microphone. Also, if you’re using the microphone to speak to the camera you cannot hear the person on the other end if there is any reply. If you want to have cameras for the sake of having cameras then these cameras are for you. But if you’re looking for accurate recording no lag time, no disconnecting from the hub and a clear picture then these are the wrong cameras for you. I would recommend a ring camera for the front door which can give you instant communication with whoever is there versus the lag on these cameras. Pros: good deal Free 7 day storage Easy set up /installation Cons: Lagging on camera/ arlo app Staticky play back Freezing on the app Slow response time to view live mode When speaking on mic it takes about 5 minutes. + you can’t hear the response of any on the opposite end. Video quality isn’t good if you’re trying to get license plates from your video and or a face.

So far only had cameras for 1 week and had decrease activity on them due the battery being drained fairly quick. Down to 70% in one week with the factory settings. At the this rate battery will last about 5-6 weeks. Resolution is good, but I have it set to the highest and resolution but will drain battery faster. Not sure if I will keep them or try the Nest outdoor IQ cameras instead.

This is the easiest home security device to set up and use. The storage in the cloud makes it easy to review all issues if necessary. I also like how easy it is ti scan the cameras and cover all areas of your property that you would like to monitor

Great do it yourself security system. Currently have 3 cameras, will be adding 2 more for total coverage. Like that the app is free and is simple to navigate. Cameras are really clear during daytime, night recording is a little grainy, but gets the job done.

Quality is ok and it's super easy to use. I dont like that it's a few seconds behind real time.

On average household use, batteries last no more than 2 weeks.

Purchased Arlo Pro 2 camera system for home monitoring. The cameras and the base are very well built. Installation is easy and the app is user friendly- easy to navigate. One of the best things is the 7-days free cloud storage. Very satisfied with the purchase.

The cameras are easy to set up and have great resolution as well as sound. Have had issues where they go offline and customer service helped immediately.

Installed easily. Set up was easy too. We purchased this because of recent break ins in the neighborhood and now feel better that we can keep an eye on things. The door/window stickers are a nice additional safety feature, letting anyone who sees them know we are watching!

Great camera, with very nice picture quality. I had the Arlo Pro before and this definitely have better picture quality and battery life.

These are average cameras but I did love the wireless Did not pick up motion very well And they lag a lot

We love this camera. It works great the only downfall is that it has about a 5 second lag when watching live video feed other than that it works great!

This product was easy to set up great view and also great sound. We like the idea of having Security around the house or business. The cameras react very well sending signals straight to your device rapidly.Highly recommend

These have great quality in the pictures. It's nice to be able to pause and zoom in on things. Only thing I would fix would be the delay time.

Through the years I've had several camera systems. Arlo was the easiest to get going. You can view if from your computer, or from your phone. The only reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is because I'm having a difficult time getting it to work with Google Hub. The first day I installed the system it worked with Google Hub. The very next day, nope. I've tried every option I could find via searches, done them; nope. I would also recommend purchasing the charger to each camera. This gives you 3 seconds pre movement. Very handy. all in all, I really enjoy this system.

So happy with purchasing this indoor/outdoor security camera. We can keep track of what goes on at our home when we are away. I can also watch our dogs, keeping track of their mischief, lol. One camera indoor and several outdoor is all It took. Very satisfied!!!

This is a great wireless camera system, it has been working so well in the past year and going. Luv it !
